I use it only to check on status of lending requests It is better than nothing, barely.
Unresponsive application. Just doesn't work.
After reporting issue with repeated request to sign in you have "fixed" the problem (supposedly) by removing the feature where the app will remember your sign in info. Now you have to enter the card number and PIN every time you want to use the app. This is not a fix!! This is just incompetence at it's best. If you cannot do better I will be petitioning my library to find a competent company to supply them with an app that will work. There are several other issues with your app as well.
Reminds me of late 90s webpages. Overdrive is poorly connected. Instead of rebranding the library, they should spend the money to develop a modem app. The minimal criticism about this suggests that no one cares about this app. ***Update. No changes of note.
Awful interface, and impossible to do anything on the account when I get logged out so often.
App works well enough to check on books, and renewing. Clunkiest app in the world. With all the resources this city has, the library could certainly put out a better app.
New app doesn't show what holds are available for pickup and doesn't list items out by due date. Old app was better.
Pretty much needs an overhaul, useless as is.
Technically it's discontinued, but it's still the easiest way to manage your physical books. Faster and easier than navigating the SPL website. King County maintains their app, maybe Seattle could buy it?
It's getting better!! Re: New update ruined an already janky app.
Broken for months now. WHEN will it actually be fixed??!? Seattle has a SEA of developers. Maybe the library should find a competent one to make a mobile one that actually works and is user-friendly.
No longer letting me log in. It just loops. I brought my rating down even more after this. Why can't we just get something comparable to the website?
Two requests: Fix the new bug where I need to log in each time I open the app, and please show my eBook holds in the list like the main webpage does. Thanks!
I had to reboot my phone and reinstalled this app because I enjoyed being able to put books on hold anytime. When I tried to get onto it a little bit ago, it won't even load the account sign in page. Its useless if I can't get into my account.
Can put anything on hold, running a new htc m8. This app use to work fine now it doesn't.
The interface is really bad and confusing, it's allot easier to just use the website.
It's so messy I don't know what I am looking at. Also search results of books between app and website are very different.
This app used to be ahead of the curve, but function and interface have fallen behind current standards.
This is a modern library, it keeps up with current new tech out in the world. The site is one of the easiest to use. I enjoy finding all the new ways to access the loan materials for fun and learning. Keep up the great work!
I can't get into my digital account anymore so unable to download checked out items to my phone. Please fix ASAP!
Will not install on my LG G4.
Was not able to log in
Love it
Needs to be an actual app and not a thin web interface. Doesn't really look or feel like an android app. Being able to scan bar codes (for books and library cards, since it keeps forgetting my account number) would be really handy.
Now for some reason it has all of these bugs and can't successfully execute ANYTHING. I would love to see this fixed, for it was and still can be a great application.
It's convenient to replace the card with app. But login password is clear text, which concerns me security-wise.
After reading the reviews I had a little bit of trepidation downloading this but almost all of the problems noted in reviews have been fixed. Great app!
Super slow. Lots of spinners. The search is pretty bad. Can't login consistently in a timely fashion. Once in, however, it's easy to see what you have checked out, holds, etc. Could be improved a ton
