Splash Wars - glow space strategy game

This game is great. It has lots of color options, simple gameplay, and the choice of powers, game speed and two starters for each level. The powers are really interesting and although the shield is kinda useless, the energy one makes it all worth it. I personally prefer the fastest option, but you can change speed during each round if it's too hard or easy. Two spawning points is something I haven't found much use for myself, but it's a cool feature. My only problem is the ads after each round.

Could be the best of it's class but there is a very big glaring fatal flaw. Some levels are VERY challenging. That would be great except that you will have to hit restart a couple times right off the bat because you see you will loose right away. So they make you watch an ad before you can complete the level. Its like oh you can't do this in one shot, guess you have to watch ads! VERY ANNOING.

Great game, played to level 300 sticking to single and power modes to keep things fair since changing them can make levels easier. Only issue is AI is all over the place, it's always random and ranges from nigh impossible to stupidly simple, it feels like they can take out other AI without a fight and end up controlling all the map with no way to fight back, they also like to prioritise attacking you which adds to this issue as you're being stalled by one whilst the other rapidly builds up.

Even though it takes a lot of inspiration from State.io, this game is Awesome. It is highly addictive, has very nice User Interface, and great gameplay, you have a lot less ads than state.io and other casual games and cooler gameplay, a lot of customization, all the good stuff.

Addictive, straightforward and satisfying. Never requires you to zoom or scroll. The different play options keep things fresh. Occasionally it misinterprets a swipe. Oh well! Still far better than most other games I've tried.

I play this game heavily, I'm on 1149 ATM. Since the recent update, I find that enemies will prioritize you over attacking each other. They also hold your progress while another builds up to a point where you'll never win. Not sure if this happens so you'll watch an ad to get past the level..

Please take in account that I don't see any ads so my op doesn't have those in the mix. A very simple game but (for me) is stupidly addictive, you can pick it up for a quick session for 5 minutes or less, or you can play for 2 hours and don't get bored, IDK, maybe there is something wrong with me. :-D

Super love it. This is the kind of strategy game that i like, and its beyond my expectations. Also, it only occupied small size on your phone. So it's a good game for those who still wanna save some space on their phone.

Amazing game to pass time! I got to over level 17500, then had to get a new phone and re-download this immediately. I could not get my progress back so I had to restart. Other than that, not a single complaint!

Gameplay isn't anything new or exciting. Really dumb but annoying things plague this game. The sound will constantly turn itself back on even though it shows it's off. Sometimes you're bubbles will randomly change to an enemy's color even if they aren't next to you. Some levels you have to restart to trick the AI. Speeding up the levels offers different results for different levels. Nothing about this game feels polished or consistent. It's mind numbingly simple, but I see that as a plus.

I got to level 9901 just to be faced with an impossible level. (This is coming from a guy who did the first 9900 levels with no level skipping). The randomization of each level is poorly design and gives an unfair advantage to the AI at times. The other issue I have with this app is the excessive amount of ads to watch, every 5 rounds or so; you would also think after 9000 levels of ads the game would have paid for itself.

The game itself is really fun and addicting. In my books it would be 5 stars if the ads wouldn't be so damn infuriating. There is ads in every few levels / restarts. In earlier levels it is not that bad but later if you need to restart the level often it becomes just really annoying.

I dont remember when i installed this game, but im at level 5929 now. The levels got repetitive after a while, but i think the position of cells is randomized or something because it does not feel bad repetitive i dont know why lol it hits the right spot of my brain, assuming its because i have adhd. There are ads after every 3 or 4 levels or restarts, but not always. I'd say its a pretty good game in this day and age of mobile games industry. Simple and enjoyable. Thanks devs!

Truly the best of it's genre. The menu design is great because you can change 3 settings to your difficulty liking instead of the tired old difficulty selection. The controls are also smooth and responsive and the way you can start and pause a game is great. It's difficult to describe simple but effective game design, just play it.

Really, really fun. Definitely the best game of this style that I've played. Some levels are trivially easy, and others are practically impossible, but the majority of levels are at a good difficulty. There is an option to skip levels, but I've never actually used it because there's something really satisfying about winning despite the AI having a major unfair advantage. If you're quick, smart, and a little lucky, none of the levels are impossible.

Simple, fun, tight controls with no confusion. Solid little game. Perfect to kill time with. You have to game the AI a little bit by starting over and over until the randomness works in your favor. As otherwise you'll sometimes just get run over if the opposing teams "cooperate". But I think that adds a bit of authenticity. Ads are always an issue, but every one of them is skiable at worst after 5 seconds. So that's a plus as well.

A very enjoyable takeover game with some fun mechanics. There is, however, a particularly annoying bug where a node will stop firing along the path you designated, either selecting a new one seemingly at random or just not firing at all. It only happens on some levels (like #495, but several others before that as well) and doesn't make the game unplayable, but it is frustrating enough that I gave the game 4 stars instead of 5

The concept, design and most other aspects of the game are amazing. The reason this doesn't get more than 3 stars is because there is literally 0 level progression. I'm at level 350 and it's literally the same as level 10. There is no increase in complexity of maps, computer logic, new functions. If the computer ai got progressively better or maps more difficult this game could be an easy 5.

I really enjoy this game. I'd be happy to rate it much higher. However, on occasion the nodes seem to have a mind of their own. Sometimes a node decides it wants to attack another I haven't designated. Other times they decide they don't want to help at all; they completely disconnect. It can be very frustrating when you're in an evenly matched battle. Most of the time the nodes follow the games commands completely. If not for the few odd times it is a great game.

It's a fun game. Not too heavy on a tutorial, but it doesn't really need one. Later on you get the choice of starting with one or two cores, and whether or not to do power ups. This can be kind of an annoyance, as tbh some levels can't be won under certain settings, and you might have to turn off one or both of them in order to win. That being said, it's a good game. Fun, challenging at times and I've only had one level that I was tempted to skip. Ads aren't all that heavy, 1.99 to remove.

Basic strategy game with no outstanding features, but with a pleasant look and gameplay. Controls are a bit weird, sometimes I accidentally swipe more routes than I want. Make it a double tap to make a long route, maybe? The difficulty does not increase with levels, untill a jump to an near impossible level 65(edit: I found lvls 99, 130, 133, 198 to be similarly hard). You can only hope that AI decides to fight among themselves for a long time, while you beat nearest enemy.

I used to like this game. It looks nice, plays nice and is quite fun. However, the amount of ads have become ridiculous. Previously I'd only get an ad when I decided to skip a stage, which is fair enough since the game is free. But now I get an unskippable ad between every TWO stages, no matter what. Very frustrating since it breaks the flow of the game. It's such a big shame.

It's a great game, I'm up to level 450. But, the difficulty never really increases. Which is a shame, it feels like maybe some additional elements should have been introduced later on. Not necessarily upgrades or any form of progressive aspect, but definitely some variant in fundamental gameplay, or different level types. Maybe even introduce strengths and weaknesses somehow, I dunno. Still a great game.

Absolutely love this game! It's great for when you've got a couple of spare minutes and want a little bit of entertainment. You can switch between dual and single mode if you're stuck on a level or want to play differently. I didn't mind how often the ads played but considering how much enjoyment I've gotten from this game (2500 levels now) I didn't mind paying the $3.50 to remove them.

My revision takes out 2 more stars. 1. Some levels are unplayable. 2. To win, simply reset enough times and enemy will stop playing. It will just stay there and let you win... 3. Amount of ads is incredible. 4. In some levels your enemy can't win at all. Otherwise, the game is fairly addictive and provides a lot of fun! 5,000 levels played.

There are lots of versions of these cell games, but this one is BY FAR the easiest and definitely the most simple. I genuinely thought I was playing the tutorial until an ad popped up... Oh yeah, full 30 second ads between random levels. The game just does not have enough to justify continuing to play. Uninstalling.

I enjoy this game and play it to relax. However, these are some of the things that need to be fixed. 1 - get rid of or allow an option to turn off the dot animation in the latest update. It makes it very distracting for me and harder to track progress. 2 - allow the option for a "light" mode. When playing somewhere with bright sun, it is almost impossible to see the "pathways". There is not enough contrast.

Love the game, but the difficulty straight up sucks! Some levels are beyond easy and require no strategy at all - and some levels are basically impossible, requiring trial & error + countless restarts until the enemy does something stupid. There doesn't seem to be any consistency in difficulty or learning curve. Changing between different modes also obscures how the game is meant to be played / what the levels are balanced for.

I am SO ADDICTED to this game !! Im always looking for a new puzzle type game to play that doesnt get boring & i think ive found it !! Many options to make it more difficult or easier depending on preference as well as speed it up i just LOVE IT. I decided to give it a try before I hopped in the shower so I could delete &free up space on my phone if needed & that was over an HOUR ago..! I had to turn the water off to keep playing ! Needless to say, this game isn't gonna be the one to go !!!

Brilliant game! Very relaxing indeed! It has tons of customisation for every level. You can keep power ups on and go all in, or just disable everything and keep it simple. The speed is adjustable so you can always drop down to 75% of the gameplay speed during tough times. All in all, a really fun game!
