I love it so far:) it includes a few warm up lightweight cardio exercises to warm up your muscles. I typically do 2 other exercise programs before I finish with this one to make sure my muscles are ready for deeper stretching. I was able to do the right legged splits when I was a kid and teenager. I could never do the full center or left legged splits back then but could get close. I'm hoping this will help me eventually perfect all 3 ways! I am beginning at the intermediate level 🥰
It will take you more than 30 days to get proper splits, both front and side. My physique is slim and light, still it took me 4 months to achieve it. This app definitely helps but progression is really slow. So don't give up after 30 days !!! Continue.
This is really good I chose intermediate. It's only been a week and I'm almost there. The streches are really good especially the supported splits!
So far app is great, ads only show up before or after session, so there's no annoying waiting period. I can't think of anything that needs to be addressed off hand, once I use the app longer I'll edit my reveiw though
The app is really great and it helps you a great deal in the flexibility and stretching aspect and it's so easy to use 😄😁
I love this app, I could almost do the splits when I began but I decided to still do beginner and it really walked you through everything and I could do the splits by day 11. It is very helpful and actually does what it says it does. One tip I would give is to be sure to ALWAYS be sure to stretch before exercising otherwise you may be more prone to injury
I'm loving this app. I've always wanted to do splits but never could. Thanks to this app I am almost to the floor. It's taking me a while longer because I don't do it daily but it's definitely helping. I haven't seen but 2 ads per session. One b4 I start and 1 at end before they show results. Worth the download
I'm on day 8 and feel great. Its free and easy to use. Although some of the stretches get repetitive, by doing the same ones you get really good at them, then can advance into doing the accelerated versions. I just started and I went from not being able to touch my ankles for over 5 seconds, to now being able to touch the ground and hold for a minute. Also, there are minimal adds. There is a 5 second one at the end of each work out but it's hardly noticable. Really good app.
Fantastic app for recurring leg injury. This app is really easy to use, I like the short beginners and intermediate exercises for an easy/sweat free morning workout. I struggle for time once it gets into the 90 seconds and would like to set a time limit for those, but you can skip. I've been using it on/ off for 2 years, not fully achieved the splits (I'm late 40s) but am very close. I also used to have recurring hamstring injuries, now a thing of the past and I'm much more supple. Great job!
I just did day 1 and my thighs and inner thighs feel so sore yet so loose and stretched. Definitely recommend to anyone, with or without natural flexibility. It's also soo easy to use<3 The app request feedback on the excersise if it was too easy too hard or if it was just right. You can get specific excersises or modifications if it's to difficulties to easy. I definitely think I could do the splits by the start of January<3
Well i havent found any issue with the app what so ever but the app is really amazing, I introduced it to my little sister and she loved it, in less than a month she got her splits and she was very happy, it is an amazing app it is very relaxing and very flexible, there are no ads to disturb while you are training and it is very easy to use and understand
I feel like it's doing me good, it's only three days in and my legs are aching a bit but the exercises are manageable and well described, there's detailed explanations and videos if you're not sure, and the timing is very helpful... I'm hoping, not to do the splits, but to improve my general flexibility, strength, balance and motivation to do any kind of exercise at all!!!
Excellent structure. Doable sessions that are still challenging. Great about making room for adjusting to yourself. Videos, animation, timer, written text, and audio during each part are all great features. And I love the other features as well. It's been only a few days but I've seen more progress faster his way than I did over the last year I've been working on my splits and flexibility. That says a lot because I was naturally very inflexible, especially in my hips and legs.
Love this app!!! Really easy to use, structured, yet accommodating, and efficient! Good explanations and even gives you video links to show you exactly what to do. Starts you on your skill level but you can change it at anytime. Nice variety of workouts so it's not the same every day. Scheduled rest days, 30 days in each level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) (so 90 days-not 30), but it makes a lot more sense now that I've started. I'm a complete beginner but I'm doing well. Really really nice
Love it! I'm currently doing the Intermediate phase of the training and I've improved so much. My flexibility and balance has improved too. I do see myself being able to split after the Advanced phase of training. So that's exciting. The app itself is great. The voice coach and the time countdown are helpful too. Side note: I was fairly flexibility before. I have no prior flexibility training, like gymnastics or something. I could easily hold my toes though. While standing and sitting.
Works great, needs minor (but essential) improvements. During the quarantine, I did the 30-day program of Advanced-level splits training. It worked awesome. One more cycle and I'll be in full splits. However, it desperately needs a dark mode, AND to be able to function with the screen powered off. I usually do this as my nightly wind-down in a dark room, and the white screen is blaring. I try to limit screentime prior to sleep so it would be a major improvement. Otherwise, I love this app!!!
Using the app for 2+ months now, 4-5 days a week. The app has been very helpful to motivate me exercise, so 5 stars. Don't expect the advertised splits in 30 days though. For two months my longitudinal splits improved just a little (and I think it's a very good result). The "feet apart" split hasn't improved an inch, but no surprise -- I'm generally very inflexible in that direction.
This app is amazing for obtaining and gaining flexibility! It has different levels for how flexible you are ( beginner, intermediate, advanced) I am a ballet dancer, so staying flexible is important for me. I love the design of the app and I like how it's free. It doesn't make you pay for certain workouts and it's very motivating because it sends you notifications if you turn them on. ( they sound something like this; your body needs energy, or splits are obtained over time) I love this app!♡
So far this is a great little app with a low barrier to entry. Loving that the daily excercises are short and include both the warm-up with the stretches, and the reminder is gentle and not abnoxious. Not a guaranteed 30 days to splits - I am almost through the beginner month now and I am seeing progress, but I'll probably need to give it a few more months before I will be able to do the splits proper (probably 2 - 3, judging by the progress so far).
I'm on day 71 now and there are some ways the app could improve, there's one specific exercise that's been in virtually every day that really messes with my knees so I never do it and substitute something else, I would really like if you could remove an exercise from coming up. I also think a "medal scheme" would be a great motivator. Otherwise its a great app, ads aren't too intrusive.
After using this app for almost 2 months, I can definitely see I improvement in my flexibility. However, I observed that some of the exercises are redundant as you progress to higher levels of flexibility over time. Furthermore, the embedded videos that show one how to do exercises disappear as you move on the advanced, a level where demonstrations are obviously needed. Not only this downside, but the customizable section in the app does not allow the user to choose the order of exercises.
This app actually works extremely well. I wanted something to work on flexibility but was skeptical about the "30 day promise". I started on intermediate and by day 7 I am getting within 3 inches of the ground. Amazing improvement! Very easy to follow along and the descriptions and images are super helpful. There are ads but it's free so it's fine.
I'm really loving this app, 5 days in. I've been following the program, and doing the extra stretches (have to watch a 30s add to unlock the program, and I do not mind at all). The little graphic shows you the movement or stretch, and you can actually read and watch a video for further instruction. I think this is very useful as some stretches I have not done before. It's not annoying, and is straight to the point - I just put on a movie and follow the stretches with the time allocated.
Overall a useful app that could be improved or expanded. After only 9 days I already see and feel a difference in my body, which is great! But this app is clearly meant for a certain baseline of flexibility and body type, even for beginners. I wish that the animations and descriptions included guidance/visuals for modifications using blocks and straps in the earliest stages, though I appreciate the general lack of need for any equipment besides a mat. But in general, I enjoy working worth it!
I have done 1 exercise. I like the robot voice and the clear instructions. My goal is not to do the splits but to regain some flexibility in my hips. The ad is at the end of the 15 minute exercise. I will be adding this to my rowing workouts. It made me set a reminder. I might go through and see if I can turn this off. I hate getting phone notifications.
Really good app! I am a beginner and have some flexibility, and I'm currently on day 2 and I feel great! I feel a lot more flexible, and I recommend on the app to do the morning and bedtime exercises so that your muscles don't hurt, and follow the plan, because you don't want to over excerise! Thanks for the app, Leap Fitness! I really love it! I recommend this app if you want to learn to do the splits! Bye!
