It's a really good app, like really good! It's just annoying how it kicks me out of a live for no reason (no one even meant for me to be kicked) and say "Content inaccessible" please, PLEASE fix this as if there is no action taken to fix this issue then I may delete this app and bring the rating to 3 stars.
I love this app and I made some long lasting friendships, but I have a issue with the app audio when I have a good connection it messes up a lot. Most of the time when I open a new tab the audio cuts off so I have to enter the live again. Lastly when I have a good wifi connection it will say network unstable and I cant join my friends lives that often because of this. I would like this fixed as soon as possible. Thanks for making an incredible app despite the issue.
Streams all sound very quiet even when my volume is turned up, it's only this app I have this issue with. A few times today the chat completely disappeared for me and this happened to another friend.
I left this 5 star review in January of 2020 and I stand by it to this day. As the app grows it will change and people have to change with it! I still wholeheartedly love the platform and I'm excited for the future.
It's OK but you guys added an option for playing YouTube videos. And after day 1 I haven't had the option at all. It just disappeared..
Ive made so many friends on this app, though there is something i dislike. I hate how its slowlu advancing, its just making the app so much different compared to how it was. Its starting to not feel like spoon.
I used this app a while ago and was able to post ANY audio on my phone. Now it says I have no apps to upload a sound when I have PLENTY. Please tell me what I may be doing wrong or go back to the way you were able to upload sounds.
This app has potential.....but they are a bit false in the description. They claim to have "listeners worldwide", but that does not show true. If you live outside the US you will not be able to join this app. I'm a tad disappointed they don't have a setting for non US citizens. I have someone from the UK I wanted to join my streams...but i can not do that as the app is not available there. I hope they change this soon. 😔
The app has great potential, but it is so buggy. Sometimes it crashes so bad my wifi shuts off for a while. Streams get lagged out constantly. It's fun connecting with the spoon community, but it's not worth bugging out my phone and wifi 😅
Update: On my Note 20 Ultra, When I open this app my data starts to cut out every 3 seconds. If I close the app... it keeps happening and the app doesn't actually close. I HAVE to Uninstall the app to stop it. Meanwhile... It's works fine on my note 9. This app is great. So many other apps have been corrupted but this one is structured in a way that keeps good control of the trolls. Good Job, Spoon! Also, If anyone wants too look me up on here... My username is EmpAtheist.
I had fun and have been addicted to it for a 2 years. There are a lot of people and it is fun to talk to other online cause I would freak out in person
Most of the streams I join are not for me. I can rarely find good streams. But when I do it is so much fun!!
Spoon is a great app for connecting with like-minded people about many topics. The updates have improved the app's functionality and use. However, there are issues relating to wifi connection and calls, causing interference in livestreams. Be sure to have an updated router and to restart your phone from time to time to limit these issues. It is worth the time!
It's been a great way to reach out to others and make new friends. The app does have issues with the interface for listeners and DJs alike; the live call feature is new I know, but creates issues with volume levels and interaction in general. All in all it's a wonderful app and with time I'm sure the SpoonTeam will fix the problems.
Bruh they keep banning me with no warning and i didn't even do anything. Any mildly weird background means ban apparently and now my phone are banned and i can't use it at all. Not to mention i spent a lot on the app the same night they banned me for no reason.
This is very innovative application from the typical social media giants and it's sets itself up to be a contender. The interface is friendly. When describing, it's like Instagram and Twitter put together. The only draw back from the app so far is not having a recommendation section. However, I still expect great things from it as it progresses in it's development.
I love the broad range of content, as well as creative freedom for my content. I do, however, seem to continuously have problems with the call feature. I understand it's not a general issue for everybody, but if maybe I could get some support that works be lovely. Overall I'm happy with the app, though the algorithm is hard on the small guys in my opinion.
Although I had no idea what to expect when downloading this app, it's been an interesting journey playing around with it and getting acquainted with what everything was and how to go about and I have to say. I absolutely love it! It's a great way to be able to interactive with others regarding a variety of topics whether it's sleeping music, ASMR, venting, karaoke and etc. I really enjoyed it, I definitely think this may be the new YouTube. I would highly recommend it! 💖
So I havent used the app a lot yet so I'm going off of the first 10 minutes of use, but from the looks of it this is a great idea. Really simple and user-friendly. Keep up w the advertising on different social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and you guys struck gold, seeing as how podcasts are becoming more and more popular and can only go up from here. So much more I could say but so little space. 👍
This is a great app! It's fun and there are great people with cool stuff, but I went to the cast section looking for talking but all I found was popular covers. I feel like there should be subsections of casts like you can do with a live. It'd be useful for sorting and good for finding different material, rather than getting swarmed by popular song covers. Thank you!
It's really fun and friendly it's a cool idea and a good social media app! It would be awesome if users could colab together and also if you could click links in the comments that would be nice, and if you could let certain listeners use voice to ask you something that would be cool, but other than those it's pretty much perfect i think!
They need to fix that lag because I left a live and it still sounded like if I was still in one and other one is that every time I lower down the music so I can look for something and went back to my music on my profile picture it would buffer
It won't let me join the app I'm 13 now and I'm still banned from it for life on all my accounts and I haven't even used some of them whenever I try to make a new account it says you don't follow the terms of services or sum like that but I always press accept all terms and services
The last update has two big issues to fix. Even with good wifi connection I keep getting glitched out of the live stream, and even if I don't get glitched out it acts as if I had rejoined the live even while staying in chat. These issues are the ones I've experienced but there may be more to fix. I do like some of the new features like scripts.
Great app, terrible customer service. I have called them twice now so they can get identification of me for purposes I have discussed with them, and they have not shown up to either of those meetings I chose to schedule to meet with them. The app itself is great, but don't expect them to get back to you right away. I still haven't received word from them about my personal issue. I am very disappointed and very upset.
