This was the app that's supposed to work for a cheapo action camera I bought. It's never worked, I can connect to the camera, but I have no video/control. I uninstalled because it was using a bunch of battery/resources in the background when I wasn't using it. Still looking for an alternative.
It works perfectly as long as you turn off your mobile data. Your phone tries to connect to the internet through the wifi conection with your camera and because there is no internet there, your phone will transfer to mobile data instead. For me, this worked.
App for older model Android. Well that doesn't help does it. No updates. So we will have to set the camera to record without using our phones. Not a great app if this happened. I have an A52 and hubby A70.
Wouldn't work on a 7.1.1 android, but worked perfectly on a 7.0.. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, make sure mobile data is off!!! Which suits me as now iv an allocated phone just for the camera.
Ok people after trial and error I found RENKFORCERF AC4K app to work, avi format so I downloaded Uvideo app to play the videos. Hope this is helpful for all you suffering with this one. Good luck.
App worked previously but with no updates since 2018 it no longer works. Still looking for an app that will work with my DragonTouch Sport Cam.
terrible, when I need this app, it hangs forever, no movies, pictures. I can only use action camera alone. when this app does NOT work, I use XDV app, and XDV works fine.
downloaded... connected camera... and for the last 3 hours all it says is"preparing camera" unless i am doing something wrong then this app is garbage!!

Terrible app, i have tried so many times to get it to work, my camera is useless without it , check before purchasing a camera if you can.
its compatible upto Android 8.1 ONLY in its manual NETGEN Action Camera 16 MP 4k... suggests to use this app. my phone upgraded to android 9 and this app became useless.

Great app just that it takes a while to prepare and when you click on something it just says: device is preparing and then you just wait wait wait until the app starts

horrible couldnt connect to my action cam tried multiple times and unfortunatley this is the app my cam reccomended.

If you enter the wrong password... the app crashes and closes!! Not even a notification to explain! Also it would be very useful to have a notice "default password 66666666" UPON FIRST CONNECTION! Not only when you go to modify the password!
