Used app for training in Mexico and Caminho walk in Portugal and Spain. No issues in coverage. Stats provided are exactly what I'm interested in. If you use it on longer trips, definitely pay the reasonable subscription just for the fact that you don't have to remember to start and stop it.
At last - an accurate tracker that doesn't ask me to join a social network or "share" my "experience". Thank you so much! PS any chance of integration into Google Fit?
I live pretty remote and hard to figure distance since I can't drive my car where I run. This is fantastic and I love that it tells me when I've gone each mile. Very happy. I spent the extra buck and a half and got the added feature of automatic pause if I have to stop for rocks in my shoe or anything else. Excellent!
Excellent App just want a voice to tell me the distance I've covered, no dumb words of encouragement!
Includes all I need: different workout alternatives, option to pair a heart rate strap, define customised min and max heart rate values and an alert if heart rate is out of the defined range.
Love this app. It is (almost) exactly what I was looking for. Here are a few of the features that I most appreciate. - There is no need to create an account, supply an email address, or "sign in with Google". It just starts up and runs. - The free version of the app has no ads. Repeat: the free version HAS NO ADS. - There is little to no social media BS. It's just a no nonsense GPS tracker. Apps like Strava seem to be *mostly* about social media engagement. - It has a highly configurable display with many options available through a straight forward, easy to navigate menu tree. - It uses a database called "Digital Elevation Model (DEM)" to record your elevation profile. It is far more accurate and repeatable than using GPS alone The only remotely negative thing I have to say about it is that it doesn't support landscape mode when viewing the maps and elevation profiles from your workouts. Portrait only. But that is also true of Endomondo, which is what I was using before. There's much more but suffice to say that the free version of this app is *far* superior than the paid version of Endomondo..
Really easy to use and set targets. I like that you can receive updates whilst running even though you're listening to music (works both with Google Music and Spotify). GPS is sometimes ever-so-slightly inaccurate, but generally very happy with the product. Question for the developers - I recently had to reset my phone and so lost my history...is there any way I can retrieve it?
I was looking for something simple to use, and while Sportractive has many sophisticated features, I just wanted time and distance. This app is easy to use and offers the abilty to grow into using the more advanced features. I love the google map view of the route I walk. It appears to wait until I press start before it looks for the GPS signal. Prior to pressing start, it displays a no signal msg, that is gone by the time the countdown ends.... so don't be concerned.
Accurate and reliable, easy to use, plenty of features, uncluttered with things I'll never use like the whole social thing. It does everything I want. The free version is so good there's really no reason for me to upgrade except to support the developer. The only thing missing in the free version that I would use is automatic pause. Developer should consider a $12 per year supporter tier that enables pause.
This app does exactly what I want it to do - it keeps a clearly mapped record of my walks noting the distance and route traveled, elapsed time, weather conditions and other key data points. Simple, intuitive and easy to use with a readily accessible history of each workout. Plus it functions nicely in the background allowing me to play music, books or podcasts. Highly recommend.
It stopped synching to Smashrun. Very frustrating It's great with one exception - there doesn't seem to be a way to share without a photo or export to a word processing file or email or send my desktop. Really want to save to an external file.
