Sports Stats Recorder

Used this App for the first time today as a test on a game I recorded from a few weeks ago. Really happy with it. The ability to add your own stat types as well as Tweets is fantastic. Being able to change the players on the field allows for modified games, for kids or for 7s or 9s. One feature missing but is not really an issue is being able to put markers in for end of a half or quarter. The summary at the end of the matches is also great. Well done!!

Very useful app, but needs a few tweaks. In GAA only allows 5 subs, needs to be increased to 6 or even more to cater for blood subs. Also needs to cater for Black Cards. Overall though a good useful app on match day

Giving it a try. One suggestion at this point. Have a way to fully reset the app. I've uninstalled, cleaned my phone's cache, reinstalled 24 hours later, it still has some of the rows I added when I was just trying it, but I don't want to keep.

The Aussie Rules version, only adds the goals kicked, not the behinds. So each goal is worth 6 points and behinds are worth 1 point. these are then added together for total score. eg: 2 . 3 . (15), 2x6=12 plus 3x1=3, total = 15

I have only tinkled with it so far, haven't used it during a game, but it appears to be very easy to use, customizable, effective. I can't wait to use it during a game.

Best app I have found for keeping scores and stats on rugby period.

Solid app, could us some life like jerseys (could I get the st Kilda colours in the as the team I coach is saints colours that would sweeeet

so far, this is my go to. i use it almost weekly.

Under the Rugby Union team manager it only allows for 5 substitute players rather than 8.

This app is wack! The developer should refund his clients, because this is absolute trash!!!

PLEASE allow positions to be saved regardless of jersey number. Good that you can make your own stats but needs a way to make some stats change the score (to create a 2pt conversion for example). Add American football, I also coach Union and 7s Rugby, and soccer

Brilliant app very detailed, is there any chance that you could put American Football or Basketball into this, it would be interesting to see them in this app?

When I open Show team stats it won't let me scroll up or down like before?????

I just would like to see a few small changes to make this app perfect. 1.) Add assist stat for soccer and 2.) Instead of brought on and taken off stat a timed amount played stat for each player. 5 stars if those were added.

Only issue when picking rugby league teams is that the backs are now shown on the upper part of the screen. Previously this where the forwards were. Can this be changed. Otherwise great app.

An option to email a report of the game would be good. An option to vary the time of the game for things like 7s or age grade where they can play anything from 5 min half upwards would be good too. Also could rugby Unions PT be added as it is a straight 7 points with no need for a conversion.

I coach boundary umpires for Alf. Added relevant stats and changed number of players. Worked beautifully. it is a great app and does pretty much exactly what I need.

Brilliant app. Just one thing..I do the stats for my local gaa club and added point scored from a free. This shows on the report page but does not record on the scoreboard during the game or against the player therefore not giving an accurate account during the game on screen. Is there anyway this could be added to the app?

I found this app to be a great tool. I would have given a fifth star if a few items were a bit more customizable or user friendly. For example: being able to choose how the app organizes the stat buttons ( i.e. alpha, off/def/other, etc.) I agree with the other reviewer who asked about % of possession. A good fix would be (although I am clueless about how difficult the coding or implementation would be) integrating the possession timer with a touch to each teams' tab as one switches between teams and a third button for no team in possession. Being able to make the stat buttons bigger (for us old guys) would great... Finally, I would like to be able to synch my customizations between devices. Thanks so much for writing this app!

Very good app. I use this for County football team and it is a very usefull tool. Would recommend for any team and have already passed it on to club team. Only query is that I like to print occasionally but can't find any way to convert it for printer friendly as it uses too much ink. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would have been 5 stars only for printing.

Soccer works great on tablets but not on smart phones! Wish the stat pop-up boxes were a little bigger or the user had the option to define their size. The Galaxy S5 doesn't have a menu button, please add a way to pull up the menu. The stat boxes look big on the demo images but they're real small on my tablet, hitting the wrong button is easy for users with big fingers. Also wish there was a way to delete player slots for smaller rosters. OK job with the app. Minor oversights.

Hi Rory, this looks like an excellent app. Well done. Very user friendly and like the way you can add variables in terms of new stats. One thing, have you any plans to integrate this with Twitter/Facebook? Would be great if you could tweet scores, similar to other apps. BTW, you could definitely justify charging for it, with a few tweaks.Thanks

Only thing missing is the record of the game time when Stats happen so we can see if players fatigue over time, thus causing more errors or not. (edit: i stand corrected, it provides stats based on time!) A graph to show all the statistics would also be very welcomed. If it had both of those I'd pay for this!

I love this app. I use it for soccer and is exactly what I was looking for. I have found 2 bugs. The clock stops for no reason... also randomly seems to remove player from field. Suggestion: I would like the ability to delete stats entered in error.
