Easily one of the best flight training programs available. App is very stable on my note 10 and tablet. Seamless between both as I progress the courses. One thing I would like is the ability to flag a question during the missed questions review. I can flag during the quiz but not once I've completed it. Very happy with everything!!
Google Cast functionality is unusable. I bought the Instrument Course from Sporty's because it seemed like it had better viewing options than the King course's outdated player. Sporty's app fails to Cast for longer than 5 seconds in any video. I have no internet connectivity issues, any other Google Cast app works flawlessly on the same network and devices; Sporty's app is the only one with problems.
Very misleading. It's 14.99 to get the app but you don't get anything else with it. You need to buy the courses inside the app! Bait and switch.
Entire videos missing from the instrument course that are on iOS. That's not a case of programming differences between Apple and Android. It's just weird. Why wouldn't all the same content be available across all the supported platforms? Should I be guessing which platform has the most complete course? What if I didn't have an iPad? I don't have a Roku - am I missing out on some secret Roku-only videos? Ridiculous.
Look like a very useful app but every time I click login it doesn't recognize my account. I know the problem isn't on my end because I can log in just fine on PC and it's only the app that won't work. Please fix this issue and it will be 5 stars. Have a great day.
The phone screen turns off and the phone locks while the video is paying. This makes it extramurally annoying and almost unusable. There is no video full screen button and you have to rotate your phone so you can trigger full screen.
Great app. Unfortunately, here are no options to turn on the subtitles. The classes were advertised as having subtitles available for the video lessons.
Says that my account doesnt exist when I try to log in, even though I can log in perfectly fine on the website
Just purchased Garmin GTN Essentials. App doesn't show I purchased it. Tried looging in and it doesn't recognize me. I still have access to my other training programs. If I go to sportys website I can log into the Garmin GTN Essentials program. Why should I have to do that? I purchased the program to use thru the app.
This ground school is fantastic. Literally they had almost every question that the FAA had on the Provate pilot exam in their practice exams. I knew the answers to several of the actual test questions without looking at the options because sportys had the same questions and possible answers.
Had Sporty's pilot training app for a year now. Excellent content and has really helped me to progress in flight training, and has been a great source of prep for the written faa exam. Looking forward to finishing up my ticket by end of July. Thanks Sporty's for being in my corner!
considering you change this app it's been very disappointing the original CDs that y'all used to have we're a lot better than what you have now plus the fact is when you watch one you have to get out come all the way back into the app to be able to see the next one
Works excellent, can't wait for the test prep to be added. Nice to be able to download videos before leaving house and watch later without burning up data.

Such app should be advertised as Preview only. None of these modules are free. I do not expect free info when it is valuable, but why list it as free?
App looks and loads well, however you have to pay for any coarse you want to take. That being said... selection does look good.
Everything costs! Not a single course is free, there is no way to trial anything. I dont even know if I like the way the course will go, and I'd have to shell out $20 to try it. What a waste.

The only use for this "free app" is to access paid content. Do not download unless you plan on purchasing their training program
Private Pilot License course... The videos are informative and a refreshing way to learn.
It didn't work on my device, and my Young Eagles account was cancelled but I had the free student account after I did my YE flight.
am new to this fresh of boat its going good but i dont like that i cant go back and see all me questions and answers and that i have to rewatch videos and retake test :/ not happy
The app is dificult to navigate. Good thing I did not paid for it else I would ask for my money back. It has bugs.
Very useful app and u get nice knowlege........ but starting some videos are free and all others videos have to be purchased ......
Giving a 1 star based off the single most important feature of this app that doesn't work. I can't review any previous questions, practice test or completed studied categories. I can start a new session and see the questions, but once it's completed, it's completely blank and no longer accessible. I'm currently studying for the commerical rating and wanted to casual study questions when I have the time. Being unable to do this, via the app, makes this app basically useless.
