Spotafriend

I like the app and I think it's a great idea but there's some improvements I want to suggest. Like maybe sending a notification when I get message instead of having to go back into each chat to see if the person replied or having a way to look at everyone's profile that swiped you down the list instead of going to each individual one. Other than those changes I suggested, I say it's a okay app. Edit: After about 2 weeks of using this app, it keeps crashing. Until then, I'm changing my rating from 4 to 3 stars.

The app is pretty cool, but it has a lot of issues... Almost always when someone send me a message the notification that appears in the top gets stuck, so it doesn't dissapear... And the most annoying thing is that when I close the app and minuted later I open it again it forces me to add a new profile picture... It's a nice app, but it's full of bugs...

Very good app, it's nice to look for new people to talk to and possibly meet up with. The only problem I have, is the amount of ads there are and how often they pop up. The ads will pop up around every 2 minutes sometimes sooner than that when swiping. Good app overall, just the amount of ads that pop up makes it not interesting when trying to look for new people.

Well the app is just ok. No better way to put it. It could be really good but theirs a few things I find that really hold it back. Firstly I super swiped a guy and he disappeared from my negative/positive list and he was not in my message box. Secondly it's very difficult to go back and search negative/positive swipes. A few things I'd like to see would be a way to reload people you negatively swiped into the nearest people in case you changed your mind, secondly I would like a way to exclusively see people in my area, and thirdly I would like to add more to the bio then what is allowed. Those changes would easily make it a 5 star app.

The overall idea of this app is great. It does do a good job showing you people near you. However I feel that the app is lacking so many things. It's very glitchy and ads pop up so often that most of the time it's not worth it. Also the way everything is layed out, the app just looks so messy. I don't see the point of having a whole section just to see who we don't swipe yes on. The only real suggestion I'd make is to clean it up a bit and make it look nicer.

I have a few problems. 1: it's unsafe. The only security is that it asks for your picture and some fingers. But it doesn't work. I took a picture of my bed and got through. 2: Signing back in doesn't work. For some reason it won't let me sign in. I do the picture (correctly) and pick my photo but for skme reason it doesn't load. 3: It won't find people closer to me. Only really far away. I picked the option to do that but it never works.

Hello! I really like the app so far, if i could say something that would make it even better is that I'd love there to be more settings you can pick from, and also a UI upgrade. For the settings, I'd like to be able to choose my badge, as it likes to switch from "first 1000 members" to "newest member". I'd also like to see a background color change. The UI is also a little bit confusing to get used to, and could definitely use a little tweaking. Overall, I love the app!

Ok so I only really have 2 big complaints about this app. 1. This app just has way too many ads. I mean it'd be fine if it were like a few ads here and there but getting an ad every 30 seconds gets very annoying and tedious after awhile. 2. I find it kind of dumb that you can see who has swiped you without watching an ad. That means in order to match with someone, you have to either swipe them and hope the other person bothers watching an ad to check their swipes, you have to waste 30 seconds watching and ad that'll likely he no effect on you, or super swipe someone which if you run out of thise, you have no choice but to watch an ad anyway. Long story short, this app has wayyyy too many ads and is practically unbearable for me to use now. Maybe if this changes I'll actually reinstall it but for now, I'm removing it from my phone.

The idea is nice, but the execution is horrid. It's built on seemingly 3rd party data-collectors, seeing as the app doesn't work at all when utilizing AdHell3. The app itself (when allowing the collectors to run) is sluggish and a lot of features don't work (E.g. Notifications don't show at all, even though they're enabled system- & app-side or an Account can't be created when connected to a Wi-Fi Network that has Ad-Blocking(!) ) The app is a ridiculous data-hog, easily giving me +1GB Data per month. Luckily, I have unlimited data, so it doesn't affect me. Must be mentioned for the others though. I did meet great people on Spotafriend, but I quickly went to either Instagram, Snapchat or WhatsApp for messaging, seeing as the chat-part of the app is seemingly broken beyond repair. GMT+8 used instead of the System-Clock and says 'read' even though only you saw it, no notifications, data-hogging, battery-killing, sluggish in general. All in all, not recommending it because it's seemingly half-baked. If you're paranoid about Big Data and Information being collected from, stay away from this.

It's a good app, however it randomly began to show me profiles from around the country instead of in my state, like why would you show me somebody in California when I'm on the east coast, and then somebody in Michigan, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting the filters. But nothing works, I'd like help with this or I'm just gonna uninstall.

Well tho I've only been using it for 10+ minutes. I've already encountered one major problem. Seems like after swiping left and right for about 20 times, all of my contacts have been changed from Nearest to Hottest. Everything except that is superb, just hope that you guys[devs] could like try to fix this. If it's fixed, I'll rate it 5 stars.

Wouldn't even let me choose a profile picture. I uploaded the required picture with the certain amount of fingers like it instructed to do. I tried to upload a profile picture, but that's as far as I got. I tapped the menu, clicked on choose existing picture, and nothing happened. Ended up deleting the app. Very dissatisfied with this app. If you want to use an app that won't work very well, give this one a try. I honestly don't find it to be worth the download.

It's okay. Better than yubo but has some frustrating features. The chats are weird, can't send videos, can't zoom the pictures you send, can't copy anything, can't save, the gifs are too small to even read. And when I press back most of the time the app closes competely. It crashes, has a lot of ads, and sometimes it won't even load when opened. So it's an okay app. Update: the app has been crashing a lot more and it randomly uses super swipes which is extremely frustrating.

Good app but glitches alot and user interface needs to be cleaned up like it is on iPhone. Also we should be able just to tap the profile to switch to the other pictures. Instead of having to click on the profile, click on the pictures, and then be able to look at the different pictures. You need to make this app much cleaner such as how Yubo is laid out.

So I have had this app for a little while now and everything was doing okay, I would have a few crashes every now and again but nothing too major. Now, after installing the newest update, I can't even access the app without it shutting down. I have tried to contact the spotafriend support email account but they still haven't gotten back to me. This app used to be decent, but once the new update came out, I can't even use it.

the app is alright in ny opinion. It's a great way to meet new people and make a lot of friends but you cannot use it over data. The app will not load anything but the loading screen if you are not on Wifi. not to mention it continues to glitch and after inviting friends and such i did not get "ultimate access" at all

So had to update my review cause the app just keeps crashing now. This may be due to my phone, but im gonna keep it at 4 stars just to be sure, especially since this is the only app that keeps doing this. Still a great app, nice interface and great security, only problem is it may have trouble running on certain phones. I know I don't have the latest, but it's not very old, it's only a note 8, so I think it may be the app, but again not sure. So until I'm 100% certain, 4 stars.

decent app, it has a lot of potential and can be interesting but all it is at the moment is okay. the ads are annoyingly constant, appearing after ever few swipes or profile views but the problem i have is that the app is very buggy and i have to restart it every time i swipe a few people or view a few profiles. i'm not sure if it's an android problem but its hard to view and interact with people when i have to either restart or exit out of the app. it makes me wanna delete it lol

it's good for meeting friend but it breaks your phone, well, it at least broke mine. I reinstalled it to see if I got any swipes or messages(I didn't delete my account), and when I opened it, it was stuck on the loading screen. I let it be for an entire hour and it didn't change.

I like the app in general, but you guys have to fix the problem where my friends just disappear randomly. No unfriending whatsoever. I also can't swipe them again. This is a really big problem that you guys have got to fix. I've lost so many friends already because of this bug. Plz fix this, hear me out. I need a response.!!!!

I'm giving it a low rating because one day when the app was perfectly functional, it just stopped launching. It kept getting stuck on the loading screen. It's a shame because it was a decent app. EDIT: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now it refuses to turn on when i press it. I had 30 friends on the app and i'm a bit pissed off now. EDIT: They fixed the issue, and it now opperates as intended. 5 stars

It was great as I enjoy making friends with older people (15-19) but now you can only be as old as 17 (It was a bitter better when the maximum age was 19 but they just updated it so now the maximum age is now 17). I made a friend that was 19 and we were about to exchange emails to keep on talking on Google hangouts but then the app updated and now he's probably been kicked off of the app for being 'too old' and so now I don't think I'll see him again :(

The first time i ran the app, it was so fun! I met quite a few of really great people on there but when i tried to open it the next day, it just kept crashing :( I tried to reinstall and restart my phone, both didn't work and i can't use the app anymore. It just crashes right away :((((

WAY too many ads. You have to watch an ad for a boomerang, you have to watch an ad for checking to see who swiped you, you have to watch an add for clicking on someones profile to see their bio, you have to watch an ad for accidentally swiping someone and trying to change it. I'm really getting tired of it and it makes me want to use the app less and less every day. I'm just sick of it. please change it somehow and ill love the app, i love meeting people from all over the country, just the ads.

this apps overall premise is done to how it should, you can meet new people. but it makes it annoying to try to keep a long conversation without some sort of bug happening. for me personaly it was the notification that someone mssged you never leaveing the screen or strait up just freezing. my advice is to use this app to get to know a person then exchange socials to talk somewhere else
