It does not want to start, always says internet connectivity error and I know I do not have any connection issue. I get good service here and everything else works except for their application. and it hasn't worked since I installed it so I'm going to have to uninstall it wait a little while to maybe they correct your issues then I'll reinstall it and if they corrected the issues they had with their application then I might write a more favorable review.
I just installed this app. It doesn't search for addresses and tapping the icons on the menu bar does nothing aside from give an error message that force closes the app. I used to use the website and it was great but has been stuck in mobile view for years now. I wish SpotCrime could get some funding because it was a really valuable tool when it worked.
I've been using the SpotCrime website for years and this app worked great for a while, but I've had nothing but "internet connectivity" errors that render the app unusable for months. Nothing fixes the issue that I've found. Very disappointing.
I really hate that there was a noise when I opened the app and so I'm really not interested in ever opening this goddamn app again until I can turn that off. Next, I'm really uninterested in using this app because there's no way for me to pay you a few dollars to get rid of ads. I am sure there are plenty of people are willing to pay you $2 or $3 to wipe away that stupid ad space from your app. These are really simple things that should be built into your app from day one.
App needs a lot of work. No capability to narrow search. Click on one icon for info, getting back to map is near impossible. Ads are more annoying then they have to be.
doesnt haave a settings guide. I have a Android phone dont know if thats the problem. All the incidents are dated 2 months back. Seems like it could be a good app Would be nice to have a refresh button.
It's cool if it shows your area but it doesn't show my neighborhood and it's extremely frustrating and annoying! Hopefully that can be fixed soon!?!?!? Otherwise really cool app!!
Needs to be optimized. The map functions are clunky and unresponsive most of the time. But otherwise an useful tool.
Just got this and so far it's pretty good but can't change distance or radius of the 1 mile. Would like to be able to customize. Maybe I can I will just have to play around with it. Great option for people to use.
What a waste of space app!! Doesn't show up to date information at all. Incidents listed as current are months old. It's April and they're showing Incidents from November and December!
Agree with a prior review, this app is incomplete. No ability to filter is a big missing feature. Then a bunch of big items are grouped into "Other" like "motor vehicle prowl" which would be nice to filter on. Randomly some event icons turn into a magnifying glass which then can't be clicked.
