Spotlight: Room Escape

Incredibly buggy. Inventory items often cannot be interacted with, especially if you have more than a few items. Sound often stops working if you leave the app and come back. I can't even move forward where I'm at because of this

I really like your game. But after purchasing to remove ads, i'm stuck at same level (lost one) eventhough i manage to solve puzzle till the end. I can't go to next level.

This is broken. Not picking up on screen. Not selecting when clicking on stuff. One of the puzzles, wires in the lamp one on first leven, won't let me select the wires. Overall a Terrible game. Fix it and we'll talk

Game is bugged. Can no longer select items past four on s20 Sure can update with more details. on my S20 I'm on fate. If I have more than 4 items in my inventory I can only select them when it's scrolled all the way to the top only giving me access to the top four items. If I scroll down even just a bit they become unselectable.

I can't open chapter 2, the level button is not responding when I tapped on the button. I can't continue playing.

Love the game played it when I was on a long flight when I got my wifi back it reset me to the first level when I was like at afterlife anyways pretty fun besides that.

I REALLY enjoy the game alot, puzzles are fun and get your brain moving. However some puzzles seem pretentious, if that makes since. Like they're trying to prove how interesting and complex they are. I hate using walkthroughs, especially when it effects your overall score. I went onto YouTube for one of the puzzles and still can't figure it out because they want you to do it in a certain order? Which seems pretty pointless. Just another way for them to prove how ~quirky~ and clever the game is.

Very good game, but need to be fixed... i cant play past level 5 for some unknown reasons.. fix it and then i'll change to 5 stars

The game was fun and really fit my ability about finishing some puzzle. But bruh, the game i could play is only 2 chapter. That's not all, i even can't play without facing some ads for some hint. After all, this game is neat, but please, if you really release this game, just give the full chapter. I know this game is free, but the amount of ads is unbeliveable

The game was great right up to the first part of the second chapter in the bathroom there is a key under the rug that is COMPLETELY in reachable because of the arrow being in the way 😡. I have tried everything; Lightly tapping around the arrow, looking up troubleshooting methods, hell I even paid to remove the ads to see if that would open up the screen more to make it reachable! Nothing worked! Developers, are you working on a fix for this?

All of my issues with this game come down to one thing, it is not nearly intuitive enough. There doesn't seem to be any rime or reason to which solutions go with which puzzles. Also, the conversions from letters to numbers or symbols or any combination thereof appear to be determined on a whim. If you're looking for something exceptionally challenging, bordering on impossible, this will do. Unfortunately, it's just not great for relaxing.

The concept and graphics are great, but there's still some improvement needed. Many of the puzzles and combinations are so obscure that you may as well go right to YouTube play throughs because you'll never get it on your own. Some of the levels have a pseudo storyline, but I've yet to have one give a resolution. It simply fades to the level select screen when you solve the last puzzle.

I have only played one level so I might come back and change my review. What I have played was great! Unlike most escape games I've tried, the logic of which items have to be used on which thing makes total sens. There isn't large leaps of logic and I did not get stuck trying every item on every thing. Also, the scare factor was really well done. I won't spoil anything but in the first level there is a count down above the exit door. What happened when it hit zero was not what I expected but it was freaky. And for those who are worried, it was not a jump scare. I am definitely going to play more. I hope the game is as good as level 1.

Neat idea, but not great. Throughout. there have been some leaps of logic. Also, requires precision that does not make sense with the game. I tap to place an object next to one that exists but I tap in slightly the wrong spot, so nothing happens making it appear that a completely different solution is needed. especially bad on the 5th level.

Pretty great game with challenging levels; definitely recommended! On the downside, I also have to agree with some other comments that sometimes you try a specific move and it doesn't work, but after a hint, it does. Although one time exiting the game and reopening it seemed to make it work? In any case, that can be irritating. Overall though, if you like escape room type games, this is a lot of fun :) Side note: also noticed references to Estonia throughout the game (yay eestlased! 🥳).

Challenging puzzles to solve but very little in the way of intuitive gameplay. Movement around each level is fairly basic virtually limiting the game to puzzle solving alone. Also too much of the 'true adventuring' side of the games of years past has been given up in favour of 'buying coins' or similar in order to finish the games as quickly as possible. Most now have become nothing but virtual clones of each other and just "variations on a theme". That said I AM fully immersed in this one.

Too many ads, I had to watch 3 to get a code that I already knew, I just didnt know the order of. Now there is an even more difficult code that I have the paper scrap for. I'd have to watch 5 ads to get a hint for that. Plus you'll gets ads sometimes just from completing something. It's too bad cause I love these types of games and this one does a good job of being creepy and interesting. You can probably enjoy it if you can pour money into it to avoid all the ads.

Good graphics and good storyline. The downside is that you'll have have to use hints or watch videos/walkthroughs to solve most puzzles in every level. The chance of passing a level using only at least 1-2 hints, or none at all, is VERY low. I mean. You'd use your head a lot but it won't help cuz most of the puzzles just doesn't make sense. When I try to look for answers in walkthroughs, I usually think, "What- how is that the answer?" or "That doesn't even make sense!"

This game is wonderful!! Super high quality, the puzzles are challenging, the story line is the perfect amount of enticing and creepy, and every level had a different feel. Reminiscent of PC games like Syberia. There were a few times when I got stuck, but you can always find a walkthrough or watch a few ads for hints if you're desperate enough. I really can't recommend this game enough!

Absolutely one of the most amazing escape games I've played. All puzzles and riddles are very well thought out. The only glitch (or maybe it's just me that couldn't figure it out) I came across was in Afterlight, there's a combination safe inside the locker in one of the rooms, and the combination was revealed on a paper with chemical applied on it. That combination was way different than the actual one. I don't want to spoil it here, but please check if that was a mistake. Other than that, great job and looking forward to the new episode!

Overall its a fun puzzle game but once you get to the harder puzzles the controls get pretty annoying. Instead of getting stuck on the puzzles themselves, you get stuck because you didn't click a very specific point on the screen that you can barely see to access items. I watch the clue videos because I'll miss really tiny clues and I have to find out where they are.

The game doesn't respond well to touchscreen input and you have to tap several times before it registers. That's annoying for sure, but I figured I could make it work anyway. However, I only got about 5 minutes of play until I reached the wire puzzle (to fix the lamp in the office). The puzzle doesn't recognize my touch no matter how often I tap, so the game is over since I can't move on. Save your time and move on to an app that works.

Old school escape room. Static images, click on arrows to move from room to room. It's OK, but compared to Room appears rudimentary. Still, fun and mildly frustrating. Update: after playing a few chapters I can say some of the puzzles get more dynamic and original. Controls remain frustrating at times, having to touch an object many times before picking up.

I downloaded this game a few years ago and never finished it. but it's my favorite mobile escape game so I downloaded it multiple times over the years. I really like the game itself. theres no problems there. I'd give it 5 stars but the ads in the middle of the gameplay gets annoying. that didnt use to be a part of the app. however I understand the makers need to make a profit somehow and so I'm not going to complain much :)

i like the game play of this where all the drawers and doors open there something about the realism of it that makes it fun. puzzles are challenging. i love that new levels are added but theres no way the games saves in the cloud. Ive had it over the course of two phones and a reboot and each time I had to play it from chapter 1 again. frustrating. i really dont want to play it again a 3rd time just to get to the new chapters

Thoroughly enjoyed, I'm one to get bored easily however this game was just very addictive. I had a few issues where the screen would go completely black or the items wouldn't show and some of the levels were very hard and I had to use videos to get clues, because there was absolutely no way I would have gotten it. Overall though, the game is great, the graphics are amazing for an escape room game, the story is fun and the levels are all slightly bone chilling. It's a great game!

This is definately not for everyone. The puzzles are complex, sometimes linked to different parts of the arts and also to mathematics, logic and so on, so smart does not cover it, you also need some knoledge. I am enjoying this very much. Puts my brain to good use and the story seems interesting, too. One observation though, some click areas are too random and too small. Overall, good job!

Puzzles are nice with an acceptable difficulty but the graphics quality is really low on this game. Sometimes, I'm not sure whether an object is part of the gfx background or something to pick up. In the Menace chapter, cutting the chair using the Note 9 pen didn't work. I had to use my fingers. Touch action needs improvement. Game controls are also not that great. Example, if you select an item in your inventory, it gets automatically unselected when you click on a second scene object.
