SpotWidgetX - Puts Android back into Spotify!
Spotify's recent version removed the ability to have a homescreen widget permanently. This App is a result of the motivation to bring back the unique Android experience for Spotify.

* Installing the App, you will find the widget ready to be added to your homescreen as if it was never removed.

it makes you pay a dollar before you can actually use it, then it does not do anything as far as I can tell but suggest you download the $2 app version, too, since the widget will not connect to the Spotify app. Then you can't get your dollar back, either. Since it's an underhanded way of getting you to pay, it does not look like you can get a refund.
A simple dark color scheme should be free. It is not in this app. 99 cents to change some color values. Not worth the time. Assumably, it works as advertised, I didn't make it that far before uninstalling.
Initially enthusiastic but the widget doesn't stay linked up after a reboot ( G5 running Zephyr). Easily restored by putting a new widget on and still better than having our precious Spotify widget taken away
Doesn't work on s9 latest OS. I know it s an e experimental. Just giving feedback. I give 2 stars because u shouldn't have paying options if u cant guarantee that it ll work. Bad business practices to me.
It makes you pay a dollar after you download, don't be fooled. But it does seem to work and has different display options.
All the widget would do is open Spotify and then a pop up saying "play a song" would pop up.
Waste of my dollar! Does not work correctly. Stick with the original Spotify widget.

i didn't even used this app and they just said to rate the app before i use this app, like are youall' serious.
Wouldn't open wanted to be paid akd reviewed. Well here it is a waste of time garbage. Stay away.

Has one free widget which works fine. But if you try and click any of the others it brings up some google play thing. It doesn't tell you how much you're paying for the none free widgets, it justs asks you to agree that you don't have a right to withdraw from the purchase.
