Very unresponsive app. Very difficult to enter details. I put that I was born in 2022 as I can't see how to scroll back to 1955 without having to go through every month of every year!! I can't see what the app actually entitles me to either. I believe there's a discount when using the app but I can't see it. If there's no benefit to the app, what is the point of it?
Awful app - Server certificate has expired or something - Selecting favourite stores on first use doesn't have the "Done" button that you have to select to confirm - can't get out of that screen as there is no "back" button. - Viewing offers on individual stores takes you back to top of the list so you have to scroll down again - and after all that, no actual offers! Complete waste of time and effort. Uninstalling.
For some reason, on my pixel 4, the bottom part of the screen is blank and unfortunately this is where the buttons are. I could register by hitting only the tops of the buttons, but now there's stuff i can't do (like correct the spelling of my name). The formatting is odd too bits of the screen are squashed and overlapping.
Doesn't open, l have to turn off my phone and restart it every time 😒 to use it.
Took 4 attempts to fill in the VIP registration form (had to start at the end and work upwards to the beginning!). Finally sorted it to find out that despite all the posters claiming you can pay for parking on the app, there is absolutely nowhere on the app to access this option - I have checked everything clickable. Not good, please fix it.
App is great in theory. Took me ages to register as registration form is not fully responsive to mobile and register button falls off the bottom. Then app happily let me upload credit for parking but then the pay parking button wouldn't work at all so had to go back to the pay station and pay again (aware I've not paid twice but ended up paying £7 to get out of the car park) which when me and baby were back in the car ready to go was more than a little annoying!
Rubbish App. Worst shopping app I have encountered. Unable to select year of birth. Have to scroll back monthly from 2021. If you make a typo such as car reg, unable to overtype correct details. Cannot see register box as the app does not fill the screen. App is virtually impossible to use or easily register details. It's almost as if they don't want people to register. Springfield's should employ an expert to redesign the app to make it user friendly.
App is good but the registration screen is Very Hard to use. It is hard to delete what's entered in case you make a mistake and doesn't let you see what you're typing lower down on screen of Android mobile phone as the keyboard obscures the form fields like postcode. please fix registration page and don't display the prompts everytime launch the app. POST REPLY: I'M USING Standard android phone. issue would be affecting all users
There is definitely a server issue with this app. I wonder how long you will continue with your head in the sand approach pretending everything is fine. There is an issue with this app but you seem reluctant to do anything about it. The app is very buggy in other areas too. I would suggest you listen to your customers rather than continually saying how thousands of customers use with no problems. That's just really annoying for the thousands of customers it doesn't work for!
Have tried several times over the past 3months to get a new card as I have lost my original card. Cannot get app to down load on my iPad or my huawei phone. I have just tried again after going to Springfields again where I spoke to a man via a box on wall who was rude and very unhelpful saying it was my internet that was the problem. Just been to my friends and tried at hers and again no luck. Please can this be done manually or is there a limit to these cards you issue and you have reached maximum
The App drives me nuts! I entered my reg number but there was a typo which, when I try to edit it, it won't let me. I had the APP once before and it wasn't great then. I was encouraged by a store member who said the staff have tried it out but it's sadly still not great.
Rubbish - three of us downloaded the app to visit Springfields and each time we tried to use it it wouldn't work. The lady working in the Restaurant said that it happens to people all the time, very frustrating !!! Fortunately our coach driver gave us a card with all the discounts on so we were able to use that for the various shops that we made purchases as it was no use relying on the app, needless to say we uninstalled it.
This app doesn't work on my android phone. I'm unable to register as once I have filled in all the details I can't press the register button as its off the bottom of the screen. Most of the buttons towards the bottom of the screen disappear and can not be used.
Unable to even register for the app. Get down to the bottom of the registration page to find you can't press the register button. And you can't delete information you put in. If it's like this for everyone I'm surprised anyone has this app. It needs sorting.
I have a good smartphone but the app is glitchy. It feels like it was built for a phablet i.e. display is too big for my 6.28 inch screen. So when first registering I could enter all my details but couldn't click on submit button!!
Parking payments via the app only worked once for me. Extremely annoying to walk back to the car and then not be able to pay, then having to trek back to the pay machines. Which are pretty poor too btw.
Whoever designed the registration so you had to scroll through every month of every year to find your DOB really should change their job. The rest of the apps OK, nothing special. There's no explanation as to what the VIP card actually gives you.
Rubbish app. Entering info is very difficult, if you make a mistake you can't correct it. Navigation is confused. Not worth the effort.
Parking is cheap but the app wants me to put £5 on my account so I can pay £1 parking fee. So In effect via the app it costs 80% more for a short visit. Enjoyed the visit to the shopping center though. Worth a visit im not saying don't download the app but for a short visit pay at the machine.
Truly awful registration screen - after ten minutes trying to fathom out how to pick birth date year I ultimately find it impossible to scroll down to insert mobile number or press register buttom (android - xperia 1) in additiin the app is unusable even without registration as it will not scroll to bottom of screen nor will it "twist" to sideways view: i expecr admin will fall back on ... We have loads of users but maybw all of thoae users are not using android
Very janky app. Kept changing my DOB on the registration screen. Doesn't scroll smoothly. Pretty awful really!
Can't even get the first page!! There is no 'done' button after selecting favourite stores so I will have to delete the app as I can't access any other pages!
Keeps blank screen wont turn off .. cant access shops on page . Problematic app best to fix bugs please then it would be great I can even scan at parking page ? As the app and site is great info but need help and epic pages . To come I hope thanks
Why does this app need access to everything on my phone as well as the ability to write and delete items to usb. The buttons do not fit on screen and registration was useless on a smartphone.
Update. I have changed the rating due to the quick response by Springfields. Excellent customer service, given a temporary pass for the day and a reply to my problem Downloaded App ready for my visit today but can't register as the keyboard doesn't pop up so can't enter details
Registration process is truly awful to the point of losing the will to live. Clearly designed by someone who has no clue whatsoever. Take him or her out the back of the centre and shoot them! Repeated shut down and tried to log back in were utterly fruitless. It is a pity there are not negative star ratings as would be happy to give minus 5.
News, Special Offers, FAQs - everything says "Please check back later"!? I downloaded the app ages ago, it doesn't need updating, yet if it continues to offer no information then I may as well delete it as it's completely useless!!
if i could give it zero stars i would! havent even been able to register as the register button doesnt appear to work, just like the rest of the app! downloaded about 15 minutes ago and have lost the will so have deleted already!
Couldn't register. Couldn't scroll screen to register button. Won't be winning the MG then. Updated very quick response from the developer. Now working fine. Thanks
Absolutely awful app. We've put money on for the car parking to hopefully make things easier and it's terrible. You can't access all of the menu options so you can't update your account or anything.
