Sprint Backup

I think this app should have been free as it says SPRINT backup. To me it infers that it's part of SPRINTS' basic program, like voicemail, FB, etc. Anything that starts with SPRINT, that's programmed into the basic phone package, shouldn't charge you when you go to update the program. I didn't see any such warning and now have to go out of my way to have the charge removed and see if I remove the app will it make my phone act wonky. Bad app!!!😵🧐☹😤😖

Most times that the app uploads files it gives me one error or another (usually a storage space error, which makes no sense since it occasionally DOES work, but usually it says it is over my size limit by ~2x my total file size) Even making sure I am connected to WiFi this app is useless. Does not let you view your stored files, or upload specific files. Now that I finally need to make use of the app, it won't open on my replacement phone due to 'an unknown billing error.' My bill is paid.

The fact that this app wants you to pay 99 cents monthly to back up basic things (call logs, texts, photos, and documents) that you would and should be able to do for free with any other app is crazy. It doesn't backup any app data or apps. I don't see what this app offers that is worth a monthly subscription.

Terrible! This app gave me a huge virus. Non stop ads every minute. Even on my home screen!!! Major problem if ads are on your home screen. 30 sec ads that you cant skip. It's bad. I luckily got an antivirus app that killed the virus. Its called (antivirus mobile) the app is blue and it has a knight helmet on it. Go check it out if you think u have a virus and you need it to get fixed.

Supposedly was updated 7.13.21 but still DOES NOT WORK jist gives same system error DON'T BOTHER TO INSTALL OR ACTIVATE. Since June 1, app will not work d/t T-Mobile now owning Sprint. Error message shows an authentication issue. Support finally admitted to me they have no way to fix it. If you have been using & paying for it for years like me, they have no suggestion on what to do now. Loved Sprint. T-Mobile, not so much.

Garbage! Fails to backup automatically every night due to "authentication error" & even fails when I try to do a manual backup (a.l.w.a.y.s. says "USER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ERROR; TRY AGAIN LATER"). I want a full refund of what Sprint charged for this TOTALLY USELESS app. Uninstalled & reinstalled--still have all of exactly the same problems outlined above.

Sent bug email. The email listed wont accept from people not in their org list. Ughh Upgraded to 20gb plan, but will only backup 7.15gb of 20gb available, then gives error of not enough memory. Why am I paying for premium service and extra memory if it doesnt work and tech support won't fix or reply to bug report? Apple doesnt have this issue nor does Verizon !

I have had this app on my Note 9 for approximately 2 years since I bought this brand new I would think that the apps would work perfect This app does not open with an error message stating to try again later it never has opened I've uninstalled it makes me very angry to have Sprint and every one of their invasive apps which you know they're trash most of them you go ahead and download them because I have the room and they're useless except for gathering my information Will you fix the bug

Just downloaded this to back up data and see that there is a .99 charge per month! We have the Unlimited, Everything family plan and have been with Sprint for close to 20 years, and pay a fortune already. Why should I have to pay extra for this? This should be included in the plan I have. I'm afraid I may be shopping for a different carrier.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED ... had this working on my Samsung J7 perfectly ... just got new phone (Samsung A20) and now error messages pop up when i try to install and now cant get to backed up fileS ... yes i know Sprint system is merging into T-mobile but why just leave it like this - I NEED MY FILES

In-app purchases shouldn't include paying for the basic app. This app requires you pay in order to use it therefore it should state that somewhere in the description. I expected in-app purchases to be add ons that not everyone may want NOT to buy the app once installed. Bad form Sprint.

This is essentially having your phone and camera and web browsing in the hands of a government recording device. It is Facebook 3.0. If you care at all about your right to privacy, don't go anywhere near this app.

Backup obviously stopped backing things up way back in September!?! I've lost hundreds of pictures of my love ones and my personal art portfolio as well. I'm devastated to say the least.

Before my phone went thru a software update, my backup would run daily at midnight but now it did error in transferring files and error occurred. Frustrating because it's not working

There should not be a fee to back up data from your phone. This is over kill when you have sprint cloud binder and Google back up. I rate this poor. Hope no one purchase it.

My experience with Sprint has been horrible none of their apps work and for this Sprint backup app that I've never ever used for it to be full is really hilarious.

When I get text messages I don't know it because it doesn't sound unless I go through and make a special tone for each contact. Ridiculous.

I don't have anything to say about this app yet. But this last update is the worst. I lost employee info. messages. If I don't go to my home page the phone will start dailing last person I called. Not a happy camper right about now.

I've been using it for I believe a year or more and everything was fine until last night. I got an error message saying it did not back up some things. So I had it back up stuff again and it said the same thing. Have no idea what to do now. I'm really concerned about my music downloads most of all.

Worst ever!! I installed the app and it wanted to charge 9.99 a month to back up item on my phone, BUT IT NEVER BACKED ANYTHING UP. A whole week of slowing up my phone for nothing.

Useless annoying bloatware app. Everytime I uninstall it something called MCM Client pops up and reinstalls it, then keeps running in the background for weeks

Horrible Experience, Lost ALL Notes, CONTACTS, and Contact Comments. 20 Years of collected history GONE. Sprint can't "find or reestablish data/content" after 18+ Hours of trying After THEY (Sprint Service) ERASED IT ALL, THEN ERASED BACK UP TOO.

They deleted our text and contacts and that's what makes it illegal because we didn't delete them ourselves. I think any of us that sprint has deleted our text thats a breach of the contract that we agree to they have to give us notice of anything they do with our information. If not we can take action against them

My phone Protector and provider is Sprint and I have had some bad things, but who doesn't all in all Sprint has fixed everything that did go waked and all ways helped me. Trust them at least the people who work at Cross way on Greenbriar Blvd. ,

Sprint themself told my husband and I about this app said it was free and boom it's not! It is only a few bucks but there are real free ways to backup your stuff. Delete!

Won't use until specific folders can be selected. Speed incredibly slow. I can download a movie in a few minutes but hours for backup?

Every time I attempt to open the app, I get an user management system error. I've uninstall & reinstalled, still same issue😡

it's Sprint, they will nickel and dime you for toilet paper. ( this is not free, and what they do charging, Google already dose for free, and in your phone now. )

I pay for a service AND you want me to pay for something that should automatically be included. T-Mobile/Sprint are you serious?! Correct this immediately.
