The app is not bad but it could be much better. When setting up my Pebble I could not get past the configure screen. After about an 1 1/2 hours I decided to turn on my location on my phone, which then prompted the configure button to illuminate. Nowhere in the directions on the app or in the quick start from Sprint did it say the location on my phone had to be on. It took me 2 hours to set this up because that small piece of information was missing. If your having trouble, turn on your phone GPS
Waste of time. Doesn't work. Can't connect to the pebble device. Won't detect or connect to the pebble. When it does connect and I put my wifi password into it, it runs the setup for a few minutes, disconnects, and gives an error. Then you can't reconnect. I'm going to have to switch carriers because none of my devices work in the shop that i spend 10-12 hours a day in.
This app has issues pairing and connecting with the Magic Box Silver that Sprint sent to me. I installed this app on four different phones (1 iPhone 7 and 3 Androids), and all four of my phones have the same issue of not being able to connect to the Magic Box Silver. I hope Sprint sends a Magic Box Gold to me soon!
Have made multiple attempts to activate the pebble to no avail. Able to go through all the steps it blinks blue and continues to say device not found while I'm literally less than a foot away. Have reset the pebble, deleted and reinstalled the app still no success
IT WILL NOT CONNECT: I've tried the times, resetting everything in-between each attempt. It gets as far as Configuring the Backhaul, but then it cannot find the Pebble Device. I'm throwing it away if it isn't fixed by next month.
While it did set up my device eventually, re-entering this app to check status forces the app to try to re-pair with the magic box. this happens every time, so once you close the app the first time, you can basically never get any more information out of it
Can't Connect Instructions are simple, but fail. Phone picked up pebble once, briefly, now can't see in wifi networks, so can't set up. Instructions give website for customer care. Website says if it doesn't work call customer service. Number doesn't work.
Crashes consistently. I open it up, approve 2 permissions (my phones location and access to my files and media....dont know why it needs this but ok), click Pebble (since thats the device I was sent) and it crashes. Pretty useless app.
App won't move past the selection stage even with the device selected and connected. The device (pebble) seems to be working as we do have a boosted signal but the app isn't functioning.
Terrible. Trebl "aka Trouble" the first time. Resetting with a paperclip...the second attempt (aargh!!! Scathing 1 star review) LTE 5 bars...decent speaker. Nice arrays of microphones for Alexa. Second attempt this product is now performing as advertised. I had to uninstall app and reset device to factory settings...it works beautifully (now)
What you'll need to do is set up initially through ethernet. After it completes the set up, open the app and it'll populate your Pebble device as "connected." From there, go to Dashboard > Network Settings and trigger it to "wi-fi." It'll prompt you to disconnect the ethernet cord then set up the wi-fi backhaul. Once that's set up, you can move the device to another location in your house (if you don't want to leave it by your router) and it will connect through wifi.
Tried for days and hours, but does connect with pebble. I am literary standing next to device. Can not find device. Now sprint texting me that I'm going be charged if I don't install pebble. Take this **** back. Would like to give it zero stars.
Does anyone actually get this product to work? It goes from flashing blue to flashing red and says device not found while I'm standing beside it. Sprint was absolutely no help in solving the issue.
WOW! STAY AWAY FROM SPRINT! My family and I switched about 6 months ago, from AT&T and we have been kicking ourselves, ever since! Signal is non existent! This "pebble device" is an absolute JOKE! I believe it's their way of buying time, hoping we won't switch to another carrier. Reading everyone else's reviews.... I have had the SAME ISSUE for the past 3 hours! I have finally given up! ****IF SPRINT OFFERS YOU THIS DEVICE TO HELP WITH SERVICE.... DON'T DO IT! IT'S A SCAM****** NEGATIVE 5 STARS
I have to say, the set up could not be easier. I do not understand all the negative reviews. 1. I plugged in the GPS and stuck the Puck out of the window. 2. I plugged in my either net cable to the Pebble and router. 3. I plugged it in to the outlet. 4. On my cell, I connected to my router wifi. 5. I opened and connected to the Sprint Set up Assistant app. 6. The Led light on the Pebble flashed Blue, Red, then Green, then was a steady Green. 7. The app connected to the Pebble. I have 5 bars!
App won't connect to pebble. Tech service gave me some bs story that I still need to connect pebble to ethernet even though instructions give a procedure for ethernet and a procedure for wi-fi, which is why I needed to install the app. Typical Sprint equipment performance.
Wifi setup & the app are broken. Doesn't work at all. You have to use Ethernet to set up the Pebble, and that doesn't require the app. Useless. And if you don't use the pebble you get charged $70 lmao
I have lived in the same place for 3 years and have always had good coverage.... Until about a month ago. My phone works fine about 2 miles from home. Something is wrong with my local cell tower. Sprint's answer is Wi-Fi backhaul? Why would I pay Sprint for a data plan and then pay an ISP for the same data? This only partially solves the problem. This box would let me have access to the Sprint network from home, but I would still have a dead zone of over 1 mile around my house.
Worked well for a short period of time. Now it's disconnected and can't get it to reconnect with the app. Even with location access. Does the same thing.
Magic box silver USED to work great, LTE 5 bars, now it Will not connect to phones!! 2 or 3 gte bars at best. Checked; the closest tower all is good. Stupid box. Soooooo frustrating
App is no good. Would not connect to pebble and when I called sprint to set it up they didn't even have the instructions to set up via wifi/the app.
This junk isn't worth the time it takes to download. Doesn't do anything to activate the device, just wastes your time. No wonder these devices it supports are free.
Does not work, it crashes every time its trying to look for pebble. And when it did work I still had service issues.
Horrible waste of time. Spent 3 hours trying yo connect. Called customer service and they were more confused then I was. Did thenfactory reset several times with same result. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
Horrible!!!!! Ever since Sprint and t-mobile merged nothing but headaches!!!!!!! Pebble is garbage and now this treble magic box can't even pair downloaded app and sucks!!!! Im sooo frusrtated been with sprint 15+ yrs I think I'm done!!!!!
No longer connects so I cannot set up the device or use it. I don't care about connecting to a network, I'd just like to connect the Trebl to wifi.
The pebble is absolute trash. Refuses to connect. 3 separate times customer service promised to over night, weeks later still nothing. Now that it finally arrived works as well as an actual rock from the yard would. Garbage
This thing and the app is a pebble stuck in my shoe. App does not work when it needs to find pebble my phone is dry humping it and still can't find it. Bet pebble cannot find the 2 hours of my life I wasted on it either
Stop here because we all have the same issues. The Casa Peeble isnt good enough to be a paperweight. It wont connect to my phone at all. Sprint has got 2 years out of me for bad service and nothing has worked here the Magic box or peeble. They say they cover my area but Sprint has holes all in their coverage areas. Big ones!!! I have called and tried to work with them but this is the last straw. They tell me the peeble was completely free but now I learn its $70 when I send it back.Scam!!
Terrible. 100% garbage. Found the Pebble Wifi, just to have it disappear when I try to connect to it. Lucky for me, this app doesn't have a troubleshooter or any helpful information. The Pebble just switches from blinking blue to blinking red then just red, all while I'm trying to find the device. I don't understand how it could be so hard to find a device 2 feet away from me, while paired to it via Wifi.
