I like being informed on all angles, lets face it everyone has an opinion. It angers me as a US citizen that we are acting as a catalyst for censorship and fostering oppressive ideologies towards another country. News is news, but research and dialog is golden. There can be no research or dialog if your side of the story is suppressed. That being said I can still see articles, I just don't know what has been filtered.

I am an Indian and this is the first time I downloaded any news app on my phone. I wanted to know the other side. I wasn't expecting but Russian media is far more neutral than western (and even Indian) media. Frankly, they are neither jingoistic nor extremely critical of government.

Very happy it's unblocked in Tbilisi! I usually watched Russisn news on YT which has since been blocked. I'm from the US and knowing the truth is very important to me. Thank you!!

excellent news source! since there is a war in Ukraine, some western countrys are blocking this service.. if you have problems with loading the main page, get a vpn service.. you can find many free vpn's

All I can say after using it over a long period of time is that Sputnik is Superb in every aspect.

I am really surprised how unbaised sputnik is? The west is saying that Russia media is propaganda 🙄 but it seem opposite. The more I look it the one sided news of west, the more I feel the west is the one spreading the propaganda.

you have broken the playback for radio programs. I select say Loud and Clear and every few minutes it resets even if I keep the screen on. even the positioning of the playback bar is rubbish. I now have to scroll down to see the playback bar -please put it under the image. (Esp since I use a larger font!) If I turn images off there is no alt title to show what the program is. Have your designers heard of Human Computer Interaction principles and testing. This app needs fixing immediately. Please! edit: There does not seem to be a filter now for previous editions of say Lound and Clear. The playback is not now reseting every ten minutes, but I cannot get through a show without two or three resets. As a comparison the BBC Sounds app has no such problem. Also it would be nice to re-instate the programme length and a counter to show where one is within the programme.

I wish victory for the Russian. All other countries are playing politics but we know that Russia is doing this for there safety. Lots of support and power from India. America and NATO and Ukraine, you will see the hell.

Not working PUII DOWN TO UPDATE but can't update...........🇷🇺pls help

Before this 7 Dec 2020 update, the notification of this app will still function as expected and intended but after the update, any notification from this app is not received even after several reinstallation. I dont know if this problems occurs on other users as well or didnt but I did encounter such problems, hope the developer solve it quickly, were using Oppo F7. It is very important for me.

Excellent, accurate source of top news - I am referring to "Sputnik", that's how it is installed on my cell phone screen. Google Play doesn't work on my cell. Thank you for Sputnik, it's so infirmative - i's the first app I open when I turn on my cellphone. Located in New York.

Although it's a Russian news app, but yet it covers news all around world, specially my country India! It's also true, to-the-point, & a propaganda free news app at a glance! The op-ed section I believe could be used as a crossreference to go to when ever the curious reader needs to find the facts. Here you'll find good journalists with their brief and coherent articles. The sense and the good feeling when one is informed puts you above all those that follow mainstream media narratives and the status quo.
