Have the ability to sync the Square calender with Mine was very helpful, unfortunately it is no longer possible, I'm able to check with both calenders with ease separately, a minor inconvenience...the appointment reminders being on a subscription based plan hurts a small business such as mine, but helps me to narrow my focus on choosing a better system that is inclusive for my business needs. I am now able to carefully consider the needs of my website and booking services.

Square all of the sudden stopped sending my clients text reminders for their appointments. This is incredibly annoying seeing as how my clients require this reminder with their busy lives. Ive actually had no shows bc of this. This is costing me money. It says I need to check all of my clients contact info and try sending again. This has been an in going issue for 3 weeks now. I contacted support & all he did was try and get me to upgrade. I don't need an upgrade for text reminders!

What a pos! My wife and I share a studio and can only perform one service at a time. There is no way to show both our schedules at once so it's constant toggling back and forth to try to figure out who has the room at what time. They also stopped syncing with Google calendar unless you pay over $300 a year for the premium service. There's better scheduling apps out there and I'm now switching. Clearly, this was an after thought app to their credit card processing. Don't waste your time with it.

Square was awesome when I first started using it. Now, it has changed tremendously to one of the worst apps ever! Square erased all of my past present and recent appointments. I am also experiencing difficulty with square equipment. I've tried to contact them, but all I keep getting is direction on fixing the problem. Hopefully, they will contact me personally to resolve the issues.

I'm SO glad there's an android version now, and they keep making it better with every addition! Having my payment on the same app as scheduling--PLUS free text reminders, integration with calendar makes my life so much easier! I just wish that when I cancelled appointments they were still visible somehow--when they just vanish it makes it hard to catch up with the week I cancelled when I was sick.

I love the ease of navigation and the convenience of the app, making appointments and checking clients out all in one place. However, the the appointment reminder feature is terrible. Half the time my clients do not receive a reminder text or email about their appointment, and other times it comes one hour before their appointment time. It is incredibly inconsistent, and has caused me to lose out on a few appointments.

I've been using it for a couple years. For the past few months,even after clearing the cache, uninstalling the app doesn't work. It freezes when trying to set appointments. I thought maybe it was compatibility of my phone, UT I checked it against another phone, it still doesn't work. I tried it on a 3rd phone with an older firmware version, and it still doesn't work. On top of that Square want to charge $30 a month for the system vs it being free, but no new features.

Without any kind of notification to its user base, Square decided to pull vital features that made me use it in the first place, and place them behind a $30 subscription paywall. No longer do my clients enjoy the confirmation text messages which reminded them of their appointments and a timely fashion, but also took away the no-show protection feature, which for a nail salon in this day and age is vital. I will be looking for other software. Square has all but lost me as a customer.

I've been using this app for 2 years and it has served my purpose of scheduling very well. Now that they have made subscription plans, they've taken away the automated appointment confirmation text feature to clients from the free subscription. That was the one major feature/reason that I relied on for making my appointmens. I don't want to pay $30 a month for just that feature.

I've used square for years now. It is simple enough, but not only are the fees for using a card high, now they bill you in different categories to use features that used to be free. I'm paying $30 a month so my calendar will sync to Google? $15 a month to get item reviews on my website? $60 extra a month to manage my inventory??? You are out of touch, Square. Not to mention the COUNTLESS estimates I've lost by not saving before it randomly auto logs out??? For this reason ALONE I'm leaving.

The overall design of the app is great, it's easy to navigate, however, the app is always down for some reason and it's always at an inopportune time. Several times it has taken the tax off and we still don't know why, and the reminders are inconsistent. Oh and it canceled some of our appointments without notification!

Disappointed with the "new" 2022 square appointment app. After years of being simple and easy use, the updated version deleted my settings and then doesn't offer the claimed full features to the individual user. As a soloprenuer, having to upgrade to the much higher multi-employee paid tiers just to access the previous, basic full functions of the app, that I've been using for years, is well, aggrevating. Time to start shopping for alternatives.

Square Appointments is really great at what it does, however it does leave quite a few things to be desired which I have raised with their support team. Apparently the features are coming but they're unable to advise when that will be, they are also desperately lacking a product roadmap so clients can would be able to get an idea of what features are planned, and some idea of their planned release schedule.

Changing my rating from FIVE stars down to the lowest possible. With NO warning whatsoever, Square removed the automatic appointment reminders and is now charging $30 a month for it! That's absolutely ridiculous. It was bad enough that they were taking almost 4% of every transaction, but to start charging us for what was a basic feature with NO warning is outrageous.

After years of using square for free, there's now a hefty charge with no new features. Still can't ban people from booking. Can't prevent new clients from booking. Can't see products at cost. Can't drag and drop appointments with app. No integrated intake forms (contracts don't count.) Will be switching to another software. Truly I wouldn't mind paying more if there were those features but it's the same thing for $100/mo now. Bye-bye.

It's pretty good. The only gripes I have would be that it resets to the calendar if you turn on the Square Reader so if you're processing a payment, you sometimes have to start all over, and you can't add photos to clients/appointments.

There is a new problem every few weeks. Now my app will not send out confirmation text for appointments, and when I select to manually send the confirmation it tells me to double-check my contact info and try again. Over and over and over again. It also always says I am offline when I am connected to Wi-Fi, I cannot process payments unless I get off of Wi-Fi. it doesn't matter if I'm on my home Wi-Fi or the business Wi-Fi. Also no cards on file to process payments, they will not save

I have used this for several years and its been FANTASTIC. Honestly loved it. The past few months have been horrible. Its been freezing for me and not allowing people to book appointments online via app or web. Today I got several calls asking for me to book for them bc they cant...and I cant either. 0% loading. Uninstalled and reinstalled, still wont work AT ALL on 2 diff phones. This is hurting my business and if its not fixed I will be forced to find another app and website.

This app used to be great. However, they're starting to charge $30 a month just to sync it with your Google calendar, a feature that was free until a week ago, and won't even grandfather anyone in. I've used this service for 4 years, and they have made probably a collective 40k-50k off of me, now they need an extra 29.99 a month JUST so I can sync my calendar? Get bent. I'll give my money to someone else.

Won't go over massive list of complaints but the latest one is square no longer sends me push notifications when appts are being made or changed. When I finally got an email back it's like the rep was answering another email not addressing my issue at all, and it's been another day and I have yet to hear back. Getting into my busy season, this is pretty important

Nothing special for booking software, was really great until critical functions like syncing to calenders became one of the two subscrption tier options only. Really short sighted. Might as well go back to using Outlook. The OG square app for the card reader is all I'll be using.

Was fantastic. Never an issue now they've made what was standard features (for a fee) a subscription based option. They already take almost 4% of each card sale. They now want us to pay 30 a month for reminder texts, and no show options.

I haven't had ANY technical issues with this app so far, and use it on a daily basis! I have it linked to multiple devices for convenience and everything always syncs great. The only (very minor) inconvenience I have come across is when you are booking/editing an appt, in the section to add a message to your client, the actual message doesn't get sent along with/as the text to the client. So I have to go back manually and text the client directly if I have something else to add. But I LOVE IT!

It works, but they'll get you in and then browbeat you for more $. I've used this app to manage appointments for years, and suddenly they decided to leverage a monthly subscription fee on top of taking a % of transactions in fees. I opted not to "upgrade" (even though there's nothing new). Now it's nerfed my calendar full of appointments for May/June that were booked way before any of this. And I don't want to hear it about "inflation." These companies are making record profits.

All of my appointments were erased from my calendar. I'm not sure what happened but I was two months behind in invoicing. Luckily only one individual even waits until I invoice them otherwise I'd be screwed. However for tax purposes I still kind of am because I will have to go through other means of finding old appointments. I am going to use another app for everything I think at this point.

Well it was a good app, but they've gotten greedy and now want to charge for confirmations, I will not pay for this. I will seek another service. That's just unnecessary to charge to confirm when it's been included in the free service all along. It was a good thing but not now. My clients don't appreciate it all either. I'll be leaving this service ASAP. Good job y'all. This has now cost my business over $600.00 in one week.... This is infuriating and completely ridiculous. Bye.

Down in STARS- used to be good, now trying to make more revenues out of existing clients: vital features sued to be free, such as text reminders and No-show protection BUT suddenly without notification has been removed and is only included in the $30 monthly subscription on the top of their already cut from each sales.....Time has come to switch to a different scheduling app and payment processing; I had a bunch of others knocking at the door and had turned them away but the time has come to shop around.

Loved this app when I first started using it. Now I have to pay on top of the fees that are already taking to use the features that I need. And recently I have not been receiving push notifications. What happened to them? I like push better than text or email. Is there something I'm missing. Please fix and add more features back to the free plan. I may be looking for another booking site.

This app is so helpful for scheduling appointments with clients! I really like that it texts or emails my clients reminders of their appointments. I also like that I can connect it to my personal calendar, so I for sure don't end up double booking.

New membership tiers are a dealbreaker for me. I specifically chose Square for the free text reminders and ability to set parameters on my appointment scheduling online. There are better options with more features for $29. So disappointing
