Square Cash

This app has suddenly started sending me constant notifications. Literally every single time I open my phone, I get a pop up that takes me to a page telling me to down load the app. I have deleted the app, turned off notifications, everything I can think of and, no exaggeration, I have received this pop up 64 times today. I want to throw my entire phone away. This is terrible. I use my phone a lot at work, so has definitely made for a rough day. Started happening after a recent update.

It's actually 0 stars. Terrible App and customer service isn't any better! I accidentally removed my email from my original account, went through the whole process of verifying my identity to regain access only to be told that they couldn't verify the information and nothing more could be done at this time. I wouldn't care except there are funds in the account that I now cannot access! Square is great...Cash App is not!

I like the app, been using it since 2018. It's good for quick transactions and sending money. But when my account was randomly closed after I sent money to someone last weekend, it's a bit of a have getting started again. I had my phone bill, Google subscriptions and other apps connected to the account or card. There should be some kind of warning system or something giving you a heads up if it's that important and urgent to close your account that quickly.

Used to work perfectly fine, but for the past few days, every time I try to open the app, it freezes on the green screen that says "Cash App". I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it's still freezing on the same screen! Super frustrating since I normally use the app multiple time a day! It works fine on my daughter's phone, just won't work on mine all of a sudden! *Update* After updating my phone (I had a software update I wasn't aware of!), the app works perfectly fine again! Love the app! ❤

I love this app! It's perfect for having a secondary account to put extra funds in. I use it for odd jobs and Uber. However I've noticed recently it's a bit glitchy. When I open the drop down menu it makes my phone act like I'm pushing buttons and it crashes sometimes. But it didn't do that until now which is weird, but oh well hopefully they fix it. Then I can give it five stars.

An easy to navigate online banking app with little to no fee at all. You're able to send, request and receive money. By linking (most) accounts or credit/debit cards you can transfer money and set up direct deposits. Contacts in your phone can sync to the app. There's an option to order yourself a debit card for your account and personally custome design a choice of 3 different color cards. If money was received or sent by mistake or the incorrect amount it's quite easy to fix and or refund.

It was great while it worked. But it started failing an increasing number of transactions claiming they were fraud, in both directions. They were all legitimate. Customer service was unable to do anything except confirm a "fraudulent" transaction had been blocked. I ended up having to abandon the app entirely and closed my account so that more of my friends don't have the frustrating experience of payments that don't work.

What an absolute nightmare. I couldn't get it set up as it kept freezing, giving me error messages, and starting over at different spots in the sign up process. I got locked out for using my phone number too many times! I finally got in,linked a bank, and I can't add cash. It just says failed. Support couldn't give me a straight answer so I gave up and closed the account.

I've never had a better or more reliable app like this. However I'm not giving it 5 stars because the customer support is rediculous. It takes over an hour to chat with someone and my issues are minor but still not resolved. I don't have that kind of time to wait for someone. As a side note, always keep your card lock turned on until you need to use it, (btw another thing I absolutely LOVE about cash app) you can lock and unlock at anytime. It really does help against unauthorized transactions.

I still can't believe that after almost 1 year they still haven't fixed this issue. You CANNOT select which account. "Its pretty decent and I'm glad to use it, but I give it a 3 star because it's terrible if you have more than 1 bank account that you want funds to go into. It didn't give you an option to choose which account. They will SAY they're is a way in MANY automated emails and close the email correspondence after their 1st email confirming they received my request. What a joke. 🤦‍♂️"

I'm sad to be giving this review. I've been using cashapp for about 5 years and never once have I had any issues with them, however tonight has completely changed my outlook on them. I attempted to send money to someone and the app showed there was a network connection issue. The payment was deducted from my balance and disappeared because it was not in my transactions nor did the person receive it. CS was useless and disconnected the chat in the middle of the conversation. Where is my money???

Complete trash. Far less useful than it was under kreditkarma. Makes no effort to clarify various fields in any meaningful or useful way. Some fields don't appear to calculate correctly. I have had to go back and forth many times and can't identify where the error is occurring, even when i tested random numbers it doesn't even bother to identify negative numbers as negative, i tried to do this just to see what it says and it displays negative numbers the same as positive. All around aweful.

I liked Credit Karma's setup better. I could file my taxes on the PC browser in less than 30min. Cash App instructions are useless, I'm literally going back and forth between PC and Android app for the past 30min and have not even started entering information. Also remind users what documents are needed before filing. UPDATE: stuck in email verification loop. Cannot even get into app! I'm done with this app.

This past month i haven't been able to open my app at all, it just freezes on a black screen with white $. Never opens. Deleted & reinstalled, still same problems. Clicked the contact customer service link in the play store, sent email & received a we don't respond to emails from this email, go to this link. Sent me to Square page for business's, i don't need help with POS. Found a Contact us IM, was a bot IM that gave me links that went to blank screens or they just froze. I want to access my $

I can send or receive money from anyone with cashapp for free. Now you can load it at participating stores for a very small fee. No monthly fee and no fee every time you swipe it like other cards. The app is awesome with many choices and features. It is the best card I've ever had. it had a routing and account number so I can use it as my savings or checking account. I can use direct deposit and get my payroll or other checks sooner. I strongly recommend it to anyone of any age.

1. The app crashes when I'm trying to pay. Embarrassing. 2. My investments are not currently showing. Unacceptable. 3. When I get a request for money, I get an email about it but it doesn't show up in the app. I go ahead and type in the info myself and pay it, then several hours later, the app finally shows the request from the person. Then I have to decline it, sending them a confusing message. Unprofessional. • Fix all that and it's 5 stars, but not until then.

Absolutely abysmal, I have been using this for at least 4 years about 2 years ago I saw that I could get a debit card and just spend the money therefore not having these instant Cash Out fees, two years now I have been trying to order a debit card, I have talked every which way possible emailed, 1-800 numbers, chat line help, try to get in contact with them, still nothing. I go through the process, give all information, final submit, every time unexpected error, try again later.

So far , so good. Just downloaded this for a financial exchange and it went rather smoothly, minus the part where I didn't see the option at the bottom of screen that says "cash out" until I was wondering where my $ was. the fault was my own. But writing this review because it was kinda different in the sense that you can customize your card with whatever letters, words, drawing, emojis, etc.

I'm giving 2 stars rather than zero while I wait for improvements. I have had this app for 2 hours and the scam calls have begun. I downloaded it via link from a friend so they would get a bonus and I would have an alternative way to send and receive money. That friend hasn't received any kind of notification regarding this alleged bonus. I, on the other hand, have received several notifications in my email. They're a bunch of new spam in my primary box. This is in addition to the phone calls.

It doesn't work. I've had the app for a few days and each day I've tried sending money to my friend and I just keeps refunding it and doesnt pay out. I've tried using my other bank, I've even called the banks and they said well they're paying, its cash app that keeps sending it back. Then you try to get help and your sent some generic message and that's the end of it so since it doesnt want my business I shall free up the space on my phone.

Terrible, just awful. I've spent hours trying to get my account set up on my phone so I can do my tax filing (used to be through CreditKarma, but I guess I have to use this useless app now) and it's asking me for a credit card that I don't and never had, or to sync my contacts to verify my identity, to which it proceeds to say "please check you network connection" when I have full connection. Then there's no one you can speak to in order to try and resolve. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP!

This app is great overall. I love the boost incentives and many other features available, including the additional crypto purchase capabilities and stock info. In only giving it a 3 star because customer support is awful. It's over an hour wait, and usually when you get a response it's already closed out. Would appreciate the capability to talk with someone, as I have a pending dispute with a company that hasn't given me a refund owed over a month ago. Otherwise, it's a great app and widely used

So far I 👍🏽 I think improvement is needed where to place "Contact Us" when you're having an issue you don't want to have to dig through an app to find how to contact us and why not have an 800 number🤷🏽‍♀️ To many people use Cashapp as their go to app for you not to have a 800# I had to get used to the pending transaction and it took a lot of convincing from a close friend of mine to use the app and apply for the debit card, but I'm impressed. Keep up the good work!!

Unsatisfactory. Ive been charged fees $ on every transaction even though my bank account and debit card are both linked and the tab is selected to indicate to deposite into my bank account. Im not sure when the app stop working but I did not have this problem when I first started using the app two summers ago. It seemed to be practicle and user friendly. That was then. Today last month last week. Unsatisfactory. The support option is even more unsatisfactory and not very helpful. Still dont work

Tried to get the debit card and provided personal information. At the end of the process, it returned an error message and refuses to work even after restarting, clearing, and redownloading the app. Talked to support about getting it fixed, but no result for a day still.

After the most recent update (5/2/2022), now the app just sits there at the "$" logo and does nothing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no effect. Can we have the old version back? I need to find out my balance and check on my stock. Without a working app, it's useless and I can't perform the same features using the desktop interface. Please help! 😥

Really easy to send money and receive it from friends. Now as far as getting issues resolved and speaking to a live person.. not so well. Very frustrating.. you talk to a person threw via text.. meaning you have to screen shot and pick what the transaction that was unauthorized. It's not very user friendly when speaking to an agent. Clearly they need more customer service with real people to address issues. Than just threw email corospondence.
