Square Invoices - Invoicing, Billing & Estimates

I ran my pool company for 2 years exclusively on Square's business apps (Invoices, Appointments, main Square app). it's hard to adequately describe, but the user friendliness and seamless integration with my Samsung phone saved me more headaches than I can count, and allowed me to focus on the details of running a new business and accelerating growth quickly. if you're looking for simple to use business apps with a plethora of options and features, you literally cannot do better (for free).

I think there are a lot of pretty frustrating limitations as far as this app and Appointments go... if someone books an appointment using their card to reserve, you cannot later use that card on file to charge for recurring payments. Also, you can't set several appointments to appear on one invoice and you have to use duplicate items to charge through invoice for monthly payments, so reporting gets all messed up... not ideal... hope they add some functionality here.

Pretty easy to set up an invoice and send it but once your money is on there good luck getting it into your bank account. It's been verifying my card for 8 days. When it finally did verify it, it still wouldn't let me transfer my funds over. Would not recommend.

I am missing sales money on here constantly. I had 2 sales today and both paid, only one showed up as paid and in the balance. It's a real pain to every reach anyone in customer service. I probably got ripped off hundreds of dollars over this last year! I don't recommend this company at all. I am currently looking elsewhere. Also their entire service goes down and they don't inform anyone about what's going on. Terrible unstable and untrustworthy company in my personal experience:( :(

super easy card processing and excellent customer service. If you're selling goods, the visual touch screen terminal is really nice. you can add photos of individual things and even for estimates it helps put those together fast and have a professional appearance!

Used QB Online since 2014. QBO Mobile app breaks 2 or 3 times every year and takes days or weeks to fix. Intuit charges $20+ per month for broken app plus $20 per month for card processing. Just switched to Square Invoices. Easy set up. Free app. No monthly fee for credit cards. Received my plug-in card reader in 48 hours. No charging or Bluetooth connection required. Terminating QBO as soon as I have Square Invoices set up.

This app works great! It is so handy when I need to send an invoice while in the field. The layout works well for a small screen considering how much information is being utilized. I strongly recommend it.

very convenient to use for my business. Lots of options and ways to have your invoice paid on time. Sends out automatic reminders to your customers too, which is a HUGE plus.

I own as small business with zero employees. Had a customer who wanted to pay with a credit card to accumulate miles but I didn't have a way to accept cards. Downloaded the apps, connected my bank account and with the square invoices I sent a text to the customer through which they paid. Super simple, easy, and done!!

I use Square Invoices for my IT Consulting and Services company and absolutely love it! The invoicing feature allows me to invoice and collect from international customers easily and fast! The web interface on desktop is awesome to quickly create and send invoices to customers. The mobile app is great to monitor payments, send reminders, and you can create invoices as well (although easier on the desktop). Thanks Square! 😁👌

Makes owning a new small business easier. New bug found perhaps though after adding a payment by check and clicking submit I get a payment accepted notice and then the app crashes. Goes into "pending" status and doesn't allow me to fix the issue. I had to go on the website to fix the issue

This app was working great, until the upload photo as an attachment keeps failing. This fail is recent! I'm a visual artist so it's important to send invoices with the art they are purchasing on the go. What is this happening? I blame the new update from March 2022 because I didn't have this issue in February.

Can't create a new customer anymore. As soon as I click on province, the app crashes and kicks me out. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times as well as signing out. Yet just another problem with this frustrating app. I'd give it 0 if I could. Save your energy and go with Clover

Easiest way to get paid ! From start to finish ! It is NOT ideal for small contractors. There are really not enough options in terms of timing and billing timing! Also, please understand, this is not the service that will go to bat for you if you have a discrepancy with descrepancy with a customer..

very easy to use. I was up and running in no time at all, while awaiting my square reader I am able to invoice my customers with peace of mind!

I love Square Invoices. Its easy to set up and easy to receive money. If you sign up for their business checking, then your money is transfered at no charge.

very easy to use and you're even able to add your logos to the invoice to make them your own. I've used this software for years and have never had any issues

I really like the app. It allows me to do everything that I want. The only downside is that I have log out then log back in to switch between locations. I wish there was a setting that allowed me to switch between locations without having to log out everytime, especially since both locations are under the same master account. Let me know when that option becomes available and I'll give it 5 stars!

Have loved using this app for the last 6 months, however this latest update on March 1st has completely bugged out the invoice system causing it to crash, please hurry and fix this... i have reinstalled the app and when attempting to mark a payment the app says completed, and than closes out and says failed to process. On a samsung s10

Great app, I can accept payments on the go or send out invoices from my phone, tablet or computer, and best of all, no recurring monthly service charge.

It keeps giving me an error, telling me that features aren't available in the free version, but I don't think there is a paid version. Other than that (and the incredibly high fees to get paid), I'm quite happy with this app.

I really like the user friendly features. I would like to see more compact and defined operating system that's designed for small businesses. With more helpful options as in recommendations on getting loans to improve the stability of the small business rather than make it grow bigger.

I love square, makes the payment side of my business easy. i can accept a debit or credit card right on my phone. payment has always been available immediately. The square debit card saves me lots of transfer fees but if i transfer to my bank the fee is lower than others payment platforms. The app organizes each transaction and separates business from personal them easily sends the records to my tax app so that is already done for me. My only regret is i didn't start this sooner.

HORRIBLE APP, WORTHLESS!!! Keeps crashing when finalizing payment so it looks like customers owe money when they don't.

They allowed me to charge my customer, took a week to collect in the app. That day, they closed my account and say there is nothing I can do but wait 90 days. They won't issue a refund or anything. DO NOT USE THIS.

I like this app. easy to use and stress free. wish it would save content without network connection in spotty areas is only reason not getting five stars

Amazing app! Use it for my personal business and saves me precious time for quotes, invoices and payment. Get their card and bank, I recommend it.

*edit- your link you sent doesnt work. now you get 1 star down from 2 bc your recommendation in the name of a better deal was a dead end*. fees are just too much. 2.5-3.5% + 10-15 cents per transaction, and 1.5% just to do an instant transfer.

Maybe a way to add a partial payment to an open "draft" invoice? or education on how to use a running T&M invoice without sending over and over. Otherwise, solid program for running a small construction business.

Very convenient for busy stay at home moms with small businesses. I have been using Square for almost 3 years now and I love it.
