Good start, needs work. I like that I can see orders or make discount codes. But I can't add new items, I can edit old ones (but not the description). There's a option on my listing that says description, and I can type there but it doesn't show the description that I had before. So I can't edit it. I didn't mind these inconveniences until recently, now when I go to the website (on mobile) and click products to add/edit it tells me to download the app. So I have to get on a PC, very inconvenient
App worked great for a while. I set a customer alert tone to "bottle cap" to alert me when a new purchase would come through. The alert doesn't work a any more and the icon is the generic android bot instead of the squarespace icon that would normally appear in the notification bar at the top of my android phone. Long story short, the notification settings have changed.
I'm new to the ecommerce community. And despite the recent negative reviews, the app is functioning very good. It's not crashing, I can edit all fields of the inventory, and it gave me an option to delete an item. But I didnt want to upset the balance. I'm not as concerned with having to add/delete from my laptop because I'd take it if I were traveling.
This app worked really well for a long time. But now I am unable to print invoices from my phone. And I am unable to find a fix for this issue on their site. I'm assuming this last update changed something that has disabled this in the app because I can print from every other app I have.
Order notifications are working again. This app isn't perfect but I prefer it over the generic, all in one squarespace app that replaced analytics and next this. At least add customer information access (previous orders, addresses, subscriptions, NOTES!! 🤦🏼♂️) to the other app before this one is gone. And ORDER NOTIFICATIONS would be nice because they aren't available now. Please don't make this a train wreck.
Over all this app has been amazing for us as we navigate through online sales. My one major beef is that when you add a product in the inventory it doesn't allow you to change the category or variations properly and you have to then move to desktop to fix it. Fix that and I'll give 5 stars.
Forcing an app? Really? Kinda ironic that a website used to design websites and make the mobile experience more intuitive forces you to download an app. Talk about a failed web experience. I thought the other reviews were over exaggerating but no. You can't even turn desktop mode on to circumvent the mobile app option! You simply can't access key features without being forced to get this app. It actually tells you to use a desktop instead now. Have you tried not being on mobile? Ffs
Works great for me! Fast way for me to upload products to my store on the go. All my photos for products are taken by my phone too so its nice to just open the app and keep listing. Order notifications are great also! I would love an update where you can enter product weight for weight based shipping which is what I use and also be able to select which category the product goes in on the page but aside from that its exactly what I need
App crashes everytime I try to open. Totally useless. Come on guys, you charge more than any other website host and yet don't have a mobile version for your website in which to easily edit our sites on the go, and your app has never worked properly. I am almost never home near my computer and would have a much easier time keeping my inventory updated if I could do it on mobile 🙄
I have a Samsung S9 plus and my App stopped working 1 week ago, I cant even get into the App to check anything. This is totally unacceptable as I need to be able to manage stock on the go. I see lots other people have the same problem but yet the only reply is we'll log it with the development team. Surely there's something more you can do? Like try get it fixed if its happening to alot of people?
I would like the ability to do everything from this app on the regular Squarespace app, specifically the buying from my inventory part so I can automatically remove a product when I make a purchase. I like editing stuff on the other app, but I can't make in-person sales with it.
Can no longer delete photos from inventory, unable to create new listings. Basically makes it useless when paired with mobile website. 12/1/19 just tried to delete a photo. Still cant, mobile also unable to add new inventory. Only on ipad or laptop. Making my phone useless isnt a smart move for an app like this.
Logged into my account and now every time I go into App its says "There was an error with the server, please try again later" The companion Squarespace App just says "No internet connection" My internet is 100% fine and connecting on all other apps. Every app associated with Squarespace seems to be worthless and doesn't work at all.
The App is good for viewing sales and inventory, but I would REALLY like to be able to add new items. I would have though this would be a main feature of the App. It's quite frustrating to not be able to do this from the App. It would make it so much more useful!
The app crashes on my Android 10 phone, flashes open then immediately disappears. Also can't add products in the Android version which makes it less useful. Uninstalling and reinstalling to try to fix it is a real pain.
i dont know who green-lit this new update but it basically eradicated any functionality this already unstable app had. I'm literally in the process of buying an iPhone right now in order to work around my inability to see listed names or detailed notes. but bravo on making it look pretty because everyone knows thats the most important part
This app is amazing. I have been able to help save my small business using this app. It notifies me when I get an online sale so I can pull it quickly and not double sell. I can easily update inventory when things sell in store or more inventory comes in. I can redeem gift cards that people bought online in person. It has been a lifesaver! I love this app so much.
Updated Review 5/13/19... I was contacted via Squarespace that they have identified the issue and now my app is working successfully. Thanks for staying on top of this issue until resolved! Dissatisfied with the updated version of this app. I am no longer able to see the various sizes to know which size I am updating while on the app under variants. Please fix this issue. Thanks in advance.
New order notifications have started showing up as ”miscellaneous notifications” together with low stock alerts. They're supposed to be in their own category, and that used to be the case.
Without the option of adding new inventory this app is useless. I was able to have all functionality on my phone now I can't do anything. It's very inconvenient to have to go to my desktop to add inventory.
Worst app. Doesn't give me the right notifications/is super delayed. When I use the search feature to update my quantities, none of my products show up. I have to scroll manually. It's just buggy.
The app is great except for one glaring exception. I can't add anything to my website from my phone. It is unacceptable! The iOS app has this capability. Someone needs to get with the program and make this available across the board.
We are using the app to manually load products to online shop. All images loaded onto the first product and subsequent products had no images loaded. Only solution seems to be to logout and log back in after every single product. Can you offer an explanation or better solution.
This app is fantastic! The only thing that dose not work is the barcode scanner for Australia Post bags. I work around it though. Great app when your not in front of the computer. Thanks
Easy to add discount codes, check inventory, Mark items filled and manage basic functions over the site. Navigating the app is straightforward although it would be great to edit product information including price - items on sale.
Its good in the sense that now I can keep my inventory organized and use my discounts easier, but I wish that it allowed me to collect addresses. I have products associated with Printful and this doesn't let me send those products out.
Hi. The app is pretty decent (would be spectacular if I could create new items in it instead of needing to go on my laptop.) Noticed recently that I can see the item description but once I go into it I can't see any text nor edit anything. I hope this is just a bug...I would love to be able to use the feature again. Updated: the app finally allows me to edit descriptions again. I did nothing except keep checking back. It would be very handy if I could print invoices from the app too.
