I'm extremely disappointed especially after all the hype about this booking system. The booking app for administrators are not Android friendly yet I'm paying a monthly rate like everyone else. The menu keep disappearing when in use, making me have to constantly closing out and restarting the app every 2 minutes!! It's slowing ny normal business flow. Worst part is that I cannot contact a customer service representative and their form of customer support doesn't help when I can't get a response.

Most of the time the app is fantastic! This app has been brilliant, and the service is at a reasonable monthly cost compared to competitors. Customer service is amazing for the app and interface is easy. Currently having some issues with updating to latest version to fix a certain bug though.

Customizable, multifunctional. I love the idea of modules that you can just add on like Zoom, Google Sheets, Quickbooks! Cheaper than other booking systems I've used but definitely jam packed with features. Get more value for money

Review Update. I cannot block off anytime on the app because this opinion ad is at the bottom of my screen and won't go away. My appointments are not synching with my calendar email. I double booked myself because when I looked at my google calendar, it said I was available. Last but not least, I have to sign in from my phone's Internet because on my computer, your website continued to say email not found. Please help me with these issues. They are affecting my business.

This app was fantastic until Squarespace started taking everything over. It's lost almost all of its functionality for me. I used to be able to take payments for any product through the app, now that's not an option. I used to be able to grab a link to our products and send it to people quickly, now that's gone. Basically all I can do is look at our calendar, do scheduling, and edit our services (why I can edit but not share products boggles my mind).

This app has been a life saver for my business. it syncs with Zapier and allows you to sync with your personal calendars as well so that you never double book. I love how you can customize so much to tailor your business openings to fit your needs, even if you just need to make a temporary change in your regular schedule. I've been using this app for over a year now and have had no problems whatsoever! 5 stars from me!!

App frequently crashes, sends appointment reminders late or not at all, and sends emails to the wrong client. Other than that it's great.

Addendum to my previous review: Support finally contacted me, almost immediately, after I left my original two star review here. Still two stars because the bug has not been fixed. When I open my agenda view, every day, I have consecutive appointments *with myself.* 😳 That's correct, the name of the customer isn't showing up, instead it's my name. I can't imagine why this is so difficult to correct. Other than that, the app is adequate.

This app has so many let downs that you should consider another vendor. From not sorting appointment types, not taking gift cards on retainers, no notification button to see who has recently booked, to sync issues with multiple calendars. Try something else until they fix the trash

Horrible Since the Acquisition!!!! It's like trying to ride an extinct dinosaur. It takes 10 minutes to load, 10 minutes to respond to touch for edits, another 5 minutes to bring up payment screen. It's just horrible. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with the latest operating system. ***UPDATE 5/19/2021 Overall customer service is the worst. I would describe it as "nasty". Whoever it is that responds to my inquiries clearly doesn't give a d*mn. ***UPDATE 2/25/22 - Service still trash.

easyto install and very intuitive. in les than 5 min I was scheduling real appointments. the only wonder is how to access the paid version. I couldn't find an option for an upgrade.

Useless for what I wanted to do today which was duplicate an appointment type to set up a new class. Difficult to work out how to get to different functions. Have to stick to having to fire up a computer just to do a simple task.

I've used both the free and pay option. It is definitely possible to get things sufficiently done even with the free option. I feel the app is fairly simple to navigate. Best part about it, is my clients may book an appointment at anytime any day without having to get ahold of me. This is beneficial for everyone!

Since Squarespace has taken over, the app will no longer sync with Square for payments. This defeats a large part of why I use this app and Acuity Scheduling. I'm exploring alternatives at this point.

even the free version is great!! this is a very easy to use scheduler, very reliable, and Interactive. The pro version is definitely worth it and they have three levels of pro so you can find one that is best for your budget. Excellent app. I am not able to pay for it yet as I am just starting a very low practice but when I am busier I will definitely be upgrading this is a very easy to use scheduler, very reliable, and interactive. it takes all of the guesswork out of it!

I really like the app and it's simplicity. Only thing is that it crashes quite a lot. It crashes on me and when it doesnt load properly it causes me to sign back in or it shows a totally different day schedule other than today's. Then I'd have to reload it in order to have todays schedule up. Other than that the app is perfect for me. BTW, I do like the older version more, with the blue app icon.

I have been using the acuity service for several years and love it. This most recent app update has been a bit tricky. There are some things I like about it, but it feels like I can do less from a back end point of view than the last one. I can't create coupon codes, new appointment types, issue gift certificates or see if a client has received/ opened their confirmation email through the app. I also miss being able to scroll through the week in the agenda function. But I love the service overall

Before it was properly working but since last week, it just shows the blue loading screen without the logo when I open it then it crashes. I can't open the app no matter how many times I restarted the phone and reinstalled the app. I was expecting for better. Just use the web version. Works perfectly. Can't rely on this app just yet. I'd be happy to see the improvements in the future but no for now.

The app doesn't work properly. It doesn't log in automatically, so I am forced to put my info everytime and when I do, it crashes. After a few tries it logs in but it works horribly. Until it crashes again. I really want to like your service (I just started using it) but the experience so far hasn't been good. Edit: I'll happily change my review as soon as things evolve. Thank you for the response.

EDIT, 22/10/19: The latest update seems to have fixed major bugs from the one before it. Glad it's working again as using the browser via phone was a pain. Love Acuity Scheduling on the whole and their customer service is great, so it's good the app was fixed to support this. I prefer the darker tones of the previous look over the all-white backdrops it has now. Option to change the Appearance would bump this up to 5*. Not sure why it needs access to your video/photos.

I used to love this app, but since the update it is awful. It never leads on the correct day, and when I put long events in or block myself off for an extended period of time, it doesnt block the entire time that I have listed. I also just had a client change a time they had booked, and I got the confirmation email about the change, but it never changed on my calendar.

like, it technically works. but it's so glitchy and slow it might as well be unusable. takes me to random days, says I have 0 appointments when I have multiple, and I have to wait for a good 30 seconds to get off the loading screen for each day. everyone who uses this app that I know has the same problems, so it isn't an issue with my phone. it's well designed, but needs some serious performance updates.

Edit: I originally gave it 4 stars, but that was based on my satisfaction with Acuity's website (I had only recently downloaded the app). The app needs a lot of work. It never opens to the correct date. When I receive a notification and click it, most times I get an error that it can't be opened and it automatically goes to the website. As of now, I don't bother with the app. I bookmarked the website to my homescreen.
