Nice to have a trail map in your pocket and know what lifts are opened or closed, because Squaw gets a ton of wind and needs to close lifts often. But I don't like how you need to sign up for a login just to see a trail map and I don't like that push ads are enabled by default. They should ask for permission to spam you with push ads first.
3 days. Both resorts. App shows no runs. Bad wifi & phone service at both. Put wifi APs around the resorts. Both are mostly deadzones, why would you build an app to rely on data and not verify/build the infrastructure first?
The annoying notifications never stop. And you can't invite friends to show up on your app unless you allow the app to have access to your entire contacts list. Ridiculous.
Buying a lift ticket with app discount is broken, keeps saying Error 37. I was advised to use Squaw-FreeWiFi, but it also fails the same way. Real time lift info would be useful, but it was showing the Tram as open on a day the cars were not even mounted.
This app has the potential to be extremely valuable to Squaw skiers as the moutain's direct line of communication to their skiing public. Unfortunately, Squaw does not use it in a manner that allows it to helpful. The most significant feature is the "real time" lift status and wait times. Squaw does not accurately project lift status, so the feature is useless. For example, this morning at 8:30 am, Squaw projected 8 lifts to open at 9:00 am. It is currently 10:45 am and not a single lift at Squaw has opened. The Sno Ventures carpet is now projected to open at 11:00 am. Hundreds of skiers geared up and drove to Squaw this morning for a 9 am "powder day" opening and will either stand around for 2+ hours or pack up and go back home, as I did. Squaw's failure to accurately project lift status makes this app worthless and results in much needless inconvenience to their skiers. If Squaw does not make the app useful, there's no point in having it.
There's more useless stuff on this app than a cheesecake factory menu. I've spent 10 minutes now and still can't find the current lift/run status. That's like the #1 point of having a ski resort app...
There is nowhere on this app that has a concise yet thorough snow report. And, when I want to look at the snow for the last 24 hours or overnight or last 7 days, that information is blocked by a box that I cannot get to disappear. I am using a Google pixel 2XL telephone
Super inaccurate, misses lots of data when compared to another tracker. Work on this please.
Awesome app, total game changer for finding your friends on the slopes plus really cool stats features, highly recommend for anyone skiing at squaw/alpine
Always defaults to squaw. It should default to wherever you are. I always ski Alpine and i constantly have to change.
Doesn't work.... At all... With ATT phones. This is due to abysmal ATT coverage at both resorts, especially alpine meadows. Try installing a few repeaters!
Turned off notifications but they keep on coming. I may have to uninstall. very annoying.
In snow conditions the details on base depth is cover up by the snow report inter face. Was th way last year too. Using samsung Note 9

Updates are slower than they used to be, cameras don't work especially at Alpine
The app has good features, recent updates have made it glitchy. It was a 5 star.
i dont understand why a ski area made such a complicated app, this probably looked great as a business proposal😂😂😂

It seems that those guys intentionally make it difficult to buy a pass so less people show up. I just had my third attempt to buy a pass. Previous times two different credit cards were declined (they work at all other places). Now I simply can't sing in. I forgot my password and temporary password from the app has never arrived 🤦♀️. Dear eng team, those types of emails should be sent synchronizly!
