SSI Mobile Wage Reporting

I have used this app for years with no complaint, however the updated date picker is limiting. There are recipients born after May 15, 2009 but the date picker doesn't go further than that. This is highly disappointing, I don't have the time to sit on hold for an hour or more just to report how much money was made last month. Edit: The app DOES NOT make clear WHOSE information is being requested. This update is NOT user friendly.

Overengeneered mess. You can take a picture of your pay stub, but it still wants you to put in all the data manually. ALL THE DATA. Took me 30 minutes to figure it out how to use it and I'm not a beginner using technology.

I honestly prefer the app the way it was before the major update. So much simpler. This was frustrating an took way more time than needed. I just want to be able to submit my fiancés gross wages for my daughters ssi an be done with it.

Its better after update, but the camera/upload doesn't work at all no matter how I do it, now I have to manually enter every stub each month. Awful.

The date selection is not working. It only goes as high as March 18 2009, and the date I need to enter is later than that.

New update is so much more user friendly! I'm happy to see the latest update for SSA taking into consideration the ideas many have requested! This makes me feel very happy!

It wouldn't be such a bad experience if I didn't have to press the arrow going back through the years to 1984, 432 times. It's almost like you don't want us to report our income, given how tedious a process it is just to select our birth date. A drop down menu like literally every other app uses would make the process take 30-45 seconds to submit the data, not 5-10 minutes.

I take back my earlier 1-star review but can only give 3 stars. AN EASY FIX FOR BIRTHDATE ISSUES: you can tap on the year & it will give you years to scroll through rather than having to swipe month-by-month in the pop-up calendar. Select year & day. To confirm the date, simply make sure to tap on the bottom-right portion of the calendar, in the black area. They really should put an actual button there that people can see. I'd give 5 stars if this was fixed & a SSA rep explained things.

Unusable in its current state, and I mean that literally. When you go to select your Birthday, the button to confirm your selection is missing, meaning you can't actually input it, and you can't continue without doing so. Until the issue is fixed, this app does nothing.

Failed to take the paycheck info and once again I'm going to have to physically send in the info. What is the deal!?!?

Like other users, the app stopped working. I've been using this app for a long time and this month it suddenly stopped working, gives an error "We could not find a match for the information you entered". I tried to uninstall and reinstall with no luck. Also, a tip on how to enter birth year should the app get fixed...click on the year and from there you can go back without having to scroll month by month. Took me awhile to figure that one out!

Finally figured out from reading other reviews that you need to click on the year for the birthdate on the first screen to change it and avoid having to swipe back decades (if needed) on the pop-up calendar. Rest of app was easy. Need to make it more intuitive for new users about how to get past the first screen. Also have never heard of an app only open for use certain hours. Really?

this updated version is way more difficult, why make it harder to input the wages, not happy,your messing with people's money

I've only used this app for a month now, but if it works I don't have to mail in my pay stubs every month and waste stamps. Entering the birth date was frustrating until I realized you can hit the year and choose that before setting the month and day. If I get a confirmation letter within a week that means it worked for me. Fingers crossed. I'm tired of dealing with phone calls that lead to nowhere or mailing letters asking questions that never get answered.

You have to scroll through every month of every year prior to current Month/year to indicate your birthdate. Half the time it doesn't put the date in the box that you highlight. It's that happens, you have to start all over again scrolling through years and months! This process is not accessible for a person with fine motor challenges or intellectual disabilities! Let us just TYPE in the birthdate!

This app no longer is working. It desperately needs an update. Nothing seems to work. Would someone please get it together and get with the times. This app is stupid. After going through the primitive way to click back month after month to 1961 then I can add my birthday. In the end. Very very A**in9. I end up having to speak directly with ss. Every month.

For everyone complaining about putting in a birthday, click the year on the top left of the screen and you can change the year, it's simple. I just wish it had more options, like showing you it's verified or being able to take pictures and upload the actual pay stubs. other than that so far it's ok

It's never worked for me. Every time I click submit it shows it can't find the info and to call. I try every month for 9 months and has never worked. I have to call every month and wait an hour to report my wages and tell them every month the app isn't working but they don't do anything to fix it. This app would be helpful if it worked. I dread calling and being on hold for an hour every month just to report wages.

Went through the whole thing, which is not an easy feat when you're 50 and have to go through the absolutely ridiculous calendar function, for it to tell me that I'm not recognized. New wave of recipients in the future....the ones who have to return to benefits after permanent hand injuries from trying to use the app.

Everything seemed well until I submit my accurate information & then it gives an error every time. No matter how many times I try it, it still gives error messages.

As of 1/2022, this app is not working as it used to. Normally, every month I do the same as always but for some reason, the month ,day, year won't set. So, my second option is to call customer service. But they take too long to answer very annoying. I hope the app gets fixed soon.

Forced to take a risk and use this because the automated phone system number is not working, it's ridiculous how often that number stops working. This was very easy to use but I pray I didn't send my personal info to some shady app maker, I hope this thing is legit and actually works. Please fix the phone number!

It would get a five star rating except for the entering birthday field. You have to scroll backwards by month to get to your birthday. My disabled daughter is 20 years old, so I have to hit the back button 244 times to get to her birthday month. Next month it will be 245 times, then 246 times and so on. App developers that use this system their thumbs cut off. Just go with the plain and simple mm/dd/yyyy entry. Only 8 taps to get birthday entered instead of 244, 245, 246, etc.

Although this is very easy to do , I hate !!! HATE , THAT you just can't type in you birthday or do a dreaded birthday spin wheel , instead you have to search the calendar, and I have to search several years back !!! It just isn't convenient.. other than that great app, very easy to use and I don't have to drive to the local SS office ,

Convenient. That'd about it. Really you have to use arrows to go back 12 times per year. To get to 1975. Can't you make it easier. Instead of having to scroll a hundred times.

This is not a review, but rather an answer to those of you who stated you're having a hassle in inputting your Date of Birth. Yes, the app doesn't allow you to just type in your DOB. But here is what I've found. On the DOB input screen it shows you today's month, day, and year. Tap on the YEAR and a drop-down list of all past years appears. All you do then is easily scroll to your year and tap that. Then then month shows up and you scroll to your month, then pick your day. Try it. It's easy.

horrible app...I was told to download this app to report wages. It doesn't work. I havd put in my birthday three times and it doesn't accept it. In order to put in a birthday, you have to hit the button back to month and year which is ridiculous. It stops there and doesn't advance to another screen. If you are going to make an app for this information, at least make one that works..

Can not go higher than 2009 to report for my son born in 2014 and at 2009 it only lets you go to the month of may if your born after that you cant report via app. Please fix this.
