The St. Louis Public Radio App allows you to listen to St. Louis Public Radio live, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for all the St. Louis Public Radio streams at once! Overall good but it cuts out more than I would think is normal.
The app has no way of turning off notifications. Thankfully, notifications are infrequent. However they are not for things that interest me, and have an underlying outlook that is antithetical to my own.
Still has an annoying tendency to cut out. It has done this for years on multiple devices and data networks. I'm not sure if it can't balance its buffering or what. 9/1/2020 - still can't maintain a stable stream.
almost perfect. Just wish it were easier to search for shows contextually without requiring exact name of clip, interviewer/interviewee or show segment. Otherwise couldn't be more pleased. LGB
While I love the station, the app could use more work. It frequently drops connection, and I wish it had more information on the songs I'm listening to.
Very good, but sometimes the sound stops for no apparent reason, then later starts back up. Does not seem to be my WiFi because other things that use it continue working fine.
The content is great but the app barely functions. It takes minutes to load, crashes frequently, and causes other things on my phone (like my volume button) to lag.
My morning always starts with KWMU and I enjoy learning about what's happening in the world before it's available via print services. However, it's very annoying to have the station cut out periodically.
Constant crashes. You close the app, stops playing. Your screen times out, done. Also, this is not a battery saving issue with my phone.
I use this app on a 5-year-old android and it works fairly well considering
Update: The excruciatingly long period of time it was taking to open the app appears to have been fixed. It's a really good app with a lot of options for listening and catching up on interesting news articles.
Update! Still horribly slow to load this app. Unbelievably frustrating. Super slow performance as of late what gives. Will change review once performance improves.
The app sometimes takes a while to connect and can also drop unexpectedly. But when it works, it is fine.
I am being totally informed without the sensationalism that can sometimes occur. I am constantly learning something new.
