Standard Chartered Mobile (UG)

The app is very user friendly. I can do everything with my money using the app including Bill payment, airtime, Mobile Money, bank to bank transfers, balance check, bank statement and more. With the latest update, the finger print feature worked well on my phone thus adding some icing to the cake. In summary, this app is very good! I have used another Bank app but this is so much better.

At first it was opening up well after updating my phone its nolonger opening up.

I have been responded to that my phone Samsung A12 is not compatible with this app, I am asking myself whose responsibility is it to make it compatible?

only able to view balance since latest update. menu does not work, just diplays animations that frankly are disruptive in an environment where one should be keen. This can also create other security risks. Can we opt out of the useless animations?

The upgrade is the best, I take back my negative review that I posted yesterday. That was bse I was just learning my way around it. It maintains the finger print from the old version, the app works the same way the older one did except that this one has newer features. The synching of the keyboard with other typing apps like WhatsApp and text keyboards is a brilliant innovation that enables u to check ur bank balance while in WhatsApp. The app doesn't freeze up. keep it up. Great revolutionary app, I cannot imagine how humans carried out their bank transactions before apps like this but specific to this app I like how it is user friendly, I mean it has most of the necessary command and they are not to hard to find. There are just a few more steps for us to achieve near perfection, one of which is adding away in with which we can adjust our limits, for example withdraw limits, transfer limits, you know more power over our transactions, thank you.

it practically does not open on my phone yet I was half way through applying. it's just annoying. instead of sending me numerous emails about completing my application try and fix this problem. save us both time and data. please.

Latest Update unable to do fingerprint recognition. Was perfect for all my online banking until the most recent update. Now it no longer recognizes fingerprint and I have to enter my password which is a real pain and limits the usefulness of having this app on my phone

Takes patience to navigate this new version! Biometrics were an issue! Menu automatically brings up background of animals! But with patience, one finally figures it out.

Just a few days back, i updated my mobile app, worked for like 2 days then started showing me an error everytime i try to login. I uninstalled the app as advised by the helpline but on trying to reinstall it from the playstore, the download hangs @ 90% and yet i can install any other app. Its a shame that it has been my best mobile banking app.

The SC App pushes the the entire banking experience to another level. I hadn't seen such a hight-tech, simple App with any of the banks currently available. We now need to move to contactless visa cards!!

Its been problematic for the last three days. Iwas told to upgrade but nothing. I have made one transaction since saturday last week it has stopped even upgrading zero. What to do i need money and my card has not been renewed yet. When up grading it shows pending till when??

Experience is really good, but I suggest That since You are aware of the corona period some of us like to do cash transactions directly on phone, Also for security, please help us find a way to transfer money to our beneficiaries by first confirming the names of the money receiver, to avoid mistakes. I mean display names of the receiver before the money is sent for easier confirmation, acc digits are many and may lead to inaccuracy. Thank for the quick reply have edited my review, statisfied.

The app takes long to respond and sometimes freezes. My other issue is that I have tried to register with my temporary password and ID that were shared on sms and email but I keep getting that error code saying either the password or ID is wrong yet even the 5 days have not expired.

Hey the app is not that BAD! looks good but it doesn't open certain links!!!!!! I want to refer my friend to a bank account but when I clean learn more on that banner, it just brings me here!!!! (Play store page)!!!!!! What do I do now?!!! Thanks for answering timely! But the link is not opening anything! What tab are you talking about? When the link opens it loads to a certain page and then redirects to the playstore page URL!!!! Can you please send me that link so I can register???

Good app buy the pop ups are ao annoying...and disruptive of the actual reason why I'm on the app in the first place. If ivwant to allow notifications or refer friends and family then i will. I dont need to be pestered evertime i want to use the app.

Of all the mobile banking apps I've used, this one is by far the best. Update: Just downloaded the latest version after posting the first part of my review. I don't know how SC managed to ruin a perfectly good app. I wish I could roll back to the older version

Secure and efficient, a nice interface, I wish it had dark mode. But overall it's a great user experience.

Since yesterday, it has failed to upgrade. why don't you leave the option of those who want to stay with the previous app? Coz we don't want you to force all of us to upgrade to what you think is better for us! Now I can't get in to do any trasactions since yesterday! am so frustrated!😠😠

I love the App, I love the bank and digital life account; I love the atm deposits and more. I hope in the near future SC Mobile App enables " Withdraw from ATM" using the phone, URA & NSSF Payments, plus fixing the addition of NWSC - this biller is available but can't be added, it returns an error "ERR_SEC_00" upon adding the OTP. This will complete the equation, we will fly.

I have used other bank apps then I have used the SC Mobile Uganda app. You guys have set the bar very high for the rest to pick a leaf from. Even with the high charges, I still can't resist using your app. You took convenience to a new level... well done

The app has refused to work on my Samsung A12, I can nolonger access my account each time I try to log in it tells me that this app is not supported by this device now am confused, totally confused 😐😕😳

This bank was doing great they close most branches uptown, the app become erratic and only branch up town is slow with long queues. I have real consideratiom to close my account here.

Its has failed to update yet my internet is very fast via different app,you guys in need too improve on your online banking system bcoz its nolonger as it was be4 in the past.It used to take me microseconds to deposit money as well withdraw money,but i wonder y its a tag of war nowadays like seriously. Looking forward to seeing better online services as they were b4,thanks

I just love it. It is Running better in my Tecno Camon16s. It saves me the time of going to bank. Infact I don't remember the last time I visited the bank. I do all my withdraws, statement accesses et.c on the standard chartered app. So Handy!! Big up developer team!!

The app is not working on my HTC. It was working before but constant updates just mess it all up everytime. Very dissapointed and inconvenienced.

Absolutely an Amazing App. Have no issues with it, very convenient for me. Generally SC is a cool bank, I don't remember the last time I used my ATM Card really. Appreciate your works. Keep it up guys. Opio

Just so U know: This update is trash. Nothing working. Biometrics not even working. Did U do enough testing before deploying? Users,back up yo old app apk b4 updating. If U don't like the update like me,just uninstall and revert to old version.
