Standards for Protection Work

This App introduces the Professional Standards for Protection Work. The standards capture a set of common professional ethics that aim to make humanitarian and human rights protection work safer and more effective. They define a baseline to guarantee a high level of professionalism in the interest of both the affected civilian populations and the community of protection actors.

This App is designed to allow humanitarian and human rights professionals and organizations implementing dedicated protection work in armed conflict and other situations of violence. It is also a useful reference point for other actors and stakeholders to understand the principles protection actors observe in order to safely implement activities to enhance the protection of individuals and communities.

The publication is available offline. By default, you will need an internet connection to view the e-learning modules. If you wish to view them offline, you can download a package (200MB) available inside the app.
