Cannot keep a Bluetooth connection with the device when it is mounted on my phone due to poor radio design. Fine when further away but that's completely nullifies its purpose. Unusable, horrible, shame on you.

App says it will cease being updated or available! Terrible support, although it's still here for now

Stanley should stand by there product. Best thing to do is not buying STANLEY PRODUCTS.

It's ok.. the device itself is fairly clever, and it's in the right ballpark on the accuracy/figures. It's not exact by any stretch and some things do confuse it. The biggest issue is that after buying the device, the really clever features require an ongoing subscription to use them. Get rid of that and I'd find it much better value for money, as is.. it's a bit expensive as an ongoing investment for the level of accuracy you get. For that cost I'd expect it to be on the money every time. It's good.. but I wouldn't buy another. Also the Nexus 5x and Nokia 8 both are uncalibrated phones, so I'm not sure what is supported but both of those are fairly popular and are not. Again as a service with ongoing costs I expect ongoing and frequent phone additions.. I don't think that's happening either.

I have the Stanley smart measure pro as a sister version to the Ike gps unit although I have attempted to make contact with stanley they seem unwilling to reply! My issue is that stanley have not updated the app to work with a Samsung note 8 even through the same software for the ike gps can run on a note 8 either meaning I need 2 devices or a stanley paperweight. I'm assuming that this is just a pure unwillingness to run a upgrade as the last one was May 2017. Very poor show and one that has put me off any stanley smart devices in the future.

The app does not work on Androidone version of moto X4 on project fi. I get to the connect device screen, it shows the device, but then the app will not allow me to go any further. Works fine on my old nexus 6, so until this issue is fixed I have to carry two phones which is a large pain.

Love the concept but Stanley apparently stopped development. It's sad as this could have been great paired with the Galaxy s8 I have, however it is not a recognized device.

I got the device to connect, and was told that it is not calibrated for my phone and that "I could still use it but my measurements will not be accurate". This should have been on the packaging.

I have a DeWalt phone, it doesn't connect even though it has found the device when I manually turn my Bluetooth on. It's bloody ridiculous considering you own the DeWalt brand!!!

Was great on the Note 4, just waiting on a Note 8 update.

Good for nothing

The laser (£120) and this app on only support phones that pre date the stanley hardware. Does not work on my galaxy s7. The smart measure pro will be obsolete in a few years as more people upgrade their phones.

I have a LG G4 and it's not compatible with it. What happen to modern technology? Can't save the laser alignment and more. The Done button doesn't show up in the alignment page. Call Stanley and they say it's not compatible. Now got to check it out to see how accurate it is with not being compatible till I get a new phone when my contract is up in about 10 months. Very disappointment.

Will not work with my LG V20, pressing the power button does nothing.

Loaded it on my note 5 and it doesn't work.

With a mechanical engineer and a computer tech reading the (downloaded) instructions it still took an hour to get usable results. Not accurate results, but so so. For some reason they went for an IR laser, so you have to guestimate every time you align the unit. List price: $140, we paid $32. Returning, not worth $10.

The ability to annotate pictures with basic text and lines would be good
