Star Finder Character Sheet

Most of the negative reviews on here seem to be to do with the premium version, which I haven't bothered with. Pretty good app, easy to use and compact. The biggest issue I've had so far is that there isn't anywhere to record your armor and mods in your armor slots. Also, the weapon tab has slot for total ammo, and usage for each slot, but not clip size which is annoying.

4 stars for now, scrolling is a little more complicated than I feel it should be. Either unable to type or risk popping up the type screen is not a 'fun' choice to make. A recommended feature would be a place to list class features separate from Racial features. Also if there is a way to allow the boxes to elongate as needed rather than scrolling through the contents of each box, that would be amazing. I have been looking for a GOOD Starfinder app, and you guys are close to getting my money.

As other reviews have mentioned, the scrolling is rough, particularly when edit mode is on. A log of class features would be great, and it doesn't seem to save my level, when I close the character and reopen it always says level 1. Auto adjusting health and stamina based on con and level would be good, too. A cleaner UI would go a long way. I appreciate seeing the responsiveness of devs to other reviews and look forward to the future development of this app.

Buggy. Believes it's in edit mode when it's not. Alphanumeric fields are too regimented and won't let you make accurate values(i.e. you can't say that damage is 1d4+1, an effect can't be recorded as a critical, can't put "touch" for range, etc). Spell info is very limited, assumes a damage dealing spell, and has no real flexibility to work with limitations. This could be a really cool app if it had some love shown to it.

Still pretty early to review, so this is mostly for feedback. It's pretty basic at this stage, and doesn't even have all of the options in the Core Rulebook. In my case the first character I tried putting into the program was my Half Ork Technomancer (with his 1 Soldier level), but that didn't work. Other points of improvement would be more visible slider with lefty support and radio buttons for dice rolling. Note also: Character sheet not builder. Jarringly loud full screen pop-up ads.

UPDATE: a lot of things have been added and this is much better than it was a few months back. I love the progress. I understand this isna character sheet app meant to fill in info but would be nice to make it a character builder as well. So you go through character creation and level ups easier. Maybe further in the future. Also: folders please for characters.

This app makes no sense and is incredibly hard to navigate. One of the things I noticed is that it's very hard to tell when your editing your character sheet. I tried to create a character sheet and couldn't get anything to load. Then I realized that the sheet wasn't in edit mode. I had to search for the edit button, and then I couldn't find where to edit other parts of the sheet, such race, class or my background. It's a very pretty app, just not very user friendly.

It's a very good start for Starfinder character but a couple of key points. 1) whilst the background is lovely it does make some of the text almost impossible to read, I really would reconsider the background. 2) the characters BAB doesn't appear to come through to the Weapon section which is a bit disappointing. 3) there is no evident method to roll the weapon damage. Bit confused on that one because you get the option to add Damage & Crit Damage. Last- stars...what are they for? Explain pleas

**Do not purchase the premium access** App seems serviceable, though clunky and hard to navigate and edit compared to other ttrpg character builders. Many key options were locked behind a $2.99 paywall. I paid, but was unable to access the premium content - "no longer a premium member." Flushed cache, uninstalled, and reinstalled the app; no success. Tried to "restore," my access and it failed. Contacted the dev, given a code to re-purchase the content, reinstalled; got a new error code.

Decent app, but it only contains Core rulebook material. It lacks the 3 classes from the Operations Manual, all the themes from the other books (Pact Worlds, Adventure paths, etc),and all the other official races released so far in the other books. Otherwise it would be 4-5 stars. The app was recently released and I will expect it to update more. Can't wait to see it :)

Terrible. Hard to find equipment/augmentations/etc. Poor UI in general. My character sheet was corrupted by the time my group met for a second time. Of course Google Play has a refund policy of only 48 hours, so if you do end up trying this app, be sure to refund quick!

For a beta, this is pretty good. I like that when you pick your class and race it fills in the stats as well as the things your character is good at. Interface is a little cramped feeling but that could also be because I'm on a phone 😅 Keep up the good work and I look forward to more updates!

I love this app. I play in a 5 man group and we all use it. It's simple, clean, affordable, and helpful like you would not believe. We have all upgraded to premium and it is 100% worth the money if you have it. Best part is support team is active and handles problems in a very timely manner. All in all love the app 10/10 would and have recommended again!

This app is not a character builder, only a character sheet. The only thing I believe it 'helps' with is copying ability score bonuses to other skills and the like. Given the relatively minimalist goals, I think it ends up feeling clunky from a UX perspective and the ads on opening a character feel downright disruptive. Google Sheets is a great alternative to this program. Edit: The app authors continue to post this to online communities claiming that it can build characters. It cannot.

It's an okay app, since there are not much other free apps for starfinder. Still some content is restricted for premium. What bothers me most is that the font is not well readable. It takes a while to study the weapon description and find the useful information iwas looking for. Maybe I'm coming back to it, but only if I don't finde something better.

You got most things in it so far, kudos! Only critique is that it feels sluggish to use, and the UI takes a moment to figure out. Is It possible to dial up the scroll speed/sensitivity when in read mode? Definitely usable and goes above and beyond for a free app.

Spent several hours building my character on here trying to work around several issues in the app just to find that I can't open my character anymore. I've restarted the app and my phone and still no luck. My game starts in 10 minutes and I have to build my character from scratch. I even paid for the premium version which was a waste

Broken, dysfunctional app with a paywall that is not clearly marked at all. Pressing back to exit brings up a prompt that says press again to exit, but doesn't work. Avoid entirely. Instead, stab yourself in the hand with a fork. It will be a better time than this hot garbage.

I love there's now a Starfinder sheet. I've been loking for about a year. I also love all the slots for characters there seems to be. I too have to report the "Edit Mode" bug. I didn't manage to get further than Class, Name & Theme on a testing idea. I'm hoping things go well.

Looks great so far. Paid for the premium version to remove adds and gain access to the extra themes. Can't tell you how happy I am to see Starfinder finally getting some apps devoted to it. Did notice a small little typo though. The Wild Warden theme is misspelled "Wild Wardem" Keep up the good work, and thanks for putting this out.

I like the app, it's a good character sheet and affordable. If I have any problems I'll let you know seeing as it's still being developed, also I paid for the premium. Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged by the one and two stars guys I have a very good feeling about this app just stay with it and I'm sure you'll hit the big leagues with it. Keep those updates coming and keep making it better than before, I believe in you guys and this app ^.^

The app is a bit rough around the edges, but im excited about it. Being a SF GM, i probably wont use it often. But my players might be intrested. As a future idea, adding a GM option for stat block generation would be amazing (or separate app).

Logged in, went to create, first option was blocked for premium access only. Uninstalled. Follow up to editor comment: What ads? There is only a pay wall to use any content outside the core book. This is an app to create characters for Starfinder. If you put that ability behind a pay wall, you don't deserve more than one star. There are free PDF character sheets that are easier to use than this app. I would love to pay for a good Starfinder app, but this is not quite that yet.

Installed then uninstalled instantly. Unintuitive design, more than half the features are locked for pay mode, overlays are terrible, font so big that text is missing. Bloke was probably high making it and have up.

Had issue with premium mode being locked but it is cleared up now. I think there is a bug with that ... Dev was quick to respond. App could use more fields for available features in game like spells or alignment.

This app looks good, but I wanted to play something outside of the core rules, so I decided to pay for premium. I paid for it, and it doesn't recognize that I paid for it. I tried clear the cache, the data, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing seems to work.

It's pretty basic at this point (December 2019) but I see a lot of potential. Currently it supports a lot of the character sheet fields and the main stats. I can't wait to see what updates come out.

Had to sit through about 2 minutes of ads to find out most content was locked behind a paywall. To make it worse what was behind the paywall wasn't clearly labeled so the first couple of attempts were tediously trying to figure out what I could do until I just uninstalled it.

The interface is unintuitive and hard to use on mobile. Why use Unity as a platform for a form entry app when better options exist (Xamarin.Forms, React Native, etc.)? Secondly, the creator does NOT own the IP - Paizo does, yet only "premium" users have access to anything outside of the core rulebook? How does this make sense? Lastly, it's in BETA and there's already intrusive ADS. Not trying to be rude - but as a fellow mobile developer, you should not be charging anyone for this app.

I've been looking for a Starfinder app like this for a while. Took a minute to figure out how things work, but once I did it worked great. I was kind of annoyed about buying premium and the inventory parts, but so far it's been worth it.
