Star Knight

Simple but engaging gameplay, fantastic art style and a deep but uncomplicated storyline. The makers of the game paid attention to the details. I would've given it a flat 5 stars, no questions, except that there seems to be a problem with the final battle against Nidhogg. I could not figure out how to deal *any* damage to him. Striking him causes the amount of damage he takes to spawn on the screen, but his health does not drop. Not sure if there's a special way to beat him or if it's a bug.

Great app, super fun. Great campaign for a free app, feels like an app i would pay for. My only recommendation as an amateur game designer would be a small bug fix. When you push one of the buttons that freezes time to open a gate, you're still able to push the movement keys and change the direction you face. When time re-engages, if you're facing the direction opposite the one you were facing when time stopped, the character sprite and movement get kind of messed up

It's a good game but I rage quit so I don't know the whole story (I finished in a middle of the 3rd world). Runs smoothly on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro. The main problem I had were the bosses. The difference between a casual stage and a boss stage was too big. It usually led me to farm in previous levels to get better equipment which is not a good way of making the player stay and keep playing. Don't get me wrong, this game is like a good combination of Shovel Knight and let's say Castlevania with a Mega Man kind of tutorial (player learns everything on their own in a somewhat controlled environment). Just if there was a smaller jump of powers between normal levels and bosses this game would be even better. Also ads. Like guys chill, there are way too many and you can't skip them.

I love the game as it is amazing but there is one slight flaw as there are wayyyyyy! too many ads. it's to the point where I probably watch more ads than actually play the game. that is the only reason why I give this game a 3-star review, besides that everything else is amazing with a reasonable amount of challenge. great game but they should take away the 30 second unskippable ads after every level

The presentation of this game is good, But it lacks a lot of thing like sound effects to make game feel more juicy. The level design is not so good and it ain't challenging. Need to improve some animations like wall break animation. It feels like the player is in a cage, cage type level design.... It should feel natural , environment. And the button placement is not good.

Great game but sadly its a mobile game first and a video game second. Meaning ads are prevalent, and despite the trailer making it seem like the developer wanted to make an action game, in the end the trappings of mobile show its head. Controls are janky, and honestly there's no reason for it. With games like Geometry Wars 3 able to create twin stick perfection, Wayward Souls with precision movement, etc... And these games are over 4 years old... There's just no excuse for it. I'm running out of patience with mobile.

After I found the spot to purchase the ad free version, I had a much better time with the game. The ads were just too much. Game starts off pretty easy, but does get more challenging. Art design is really nice and the diversity of skills is pretty good. not much of a story though.

The levels are well made and challenging but some of the levels are just too irritating and the arena mode is so boring. To clear the final level of every stage you need a good sword and for that you need to play arena to get the coins which is too boring. pros- Levels are good, and you dont need money for the swords. Everything is free and no ad also

Good game though. The ads is okay because i can just turn off the wifi. Good gameplay, but the Swords are very EXPENSIVE for me. Good graphs. The controls are bit glitchy. By the way can you make that female character playable instead of just being a ghost in the ENTIRE stages? It's boring if you just being swordman throughout the game.

This is just Awesome..! I love Shadow graphics games... And it has good controls, graphics and so on...I love the button onClick animation and UI as well...! Ya...It shows ads after completing each level...but that's the earning thing for developers...I understand its importance..bcs I am also a developer...xD Good job... Keep it up..!!👌👍

Too many ads!!! Literally! Everytime after I finished a level, I had to watch a 30s ads which I cant skip! It's frustrating and annoying.The game on the other hand and music is okay. The controls however is not that great. I deleted the game right after I finished level 3 because of too much ads.

I like the game, however it's annoying to watch a 30 second unskippable ad after every level. also, I died 0 times,got max money, and took 1 min 1 second for the very first level and still only got two stars. a tutorial explaining the goal for stars and for what's in the menu would be nice

The game looks amazing. There is enough health options to get you through if you play smart. I think instead of a left and right button, a joy stick of sorts would work better. The buttons just made the game too hard to play.

The game is good, but seriously, too many ads. Honestly, I really hate ads, but this one takes the cake, seriously, everytime I finish a level or die in a lvl a forced to watch ads will start, the worst part, the ads takes a half a minute that CANNOT BE SKIPPED! I AM FREAKING SICK OF WATCHING ADS FOR LORDS MOBILE, LEGACY OF DISCORD, MOBILE LEGENDS AND ETC!!!

Honestly the beginning of the game was WAAAY too predictable, the fact that you gave a Over powered healer in the beginning was a huge give away. The game itself is alright, just the beginning was a huge turn off. Too predictable. I changed my review from a 3 star to a 2 star. Just way too many ads after each level.

This game is so aggravating! The jump button only works 1/3 of the time. Then there's all the half minutes add that you can't scip. I can't get passed level 3 because I keep dieing after 5 seconds because the jump button didn't work Then I have to watch a 30 second add. Then repeat that over and over and over it makes me want to SCREAM and smash my phone into a million piece.

it's a really fun game, and i get that ads are how games make a lot of their money but long video ads between every single level throws off the game bad. it's just a bit too much. either shorter ads or less often and it would improve the whole experience.

Loved the game so far, I've only made it passed the first 11 stages but it reminds me of alot of games I played when I was younger. It has easy controls (so even a young child could easily get the hang of it) and it's very entertaining if you have a few minutes!

the game was ok from the first few levels. unfortunately, it makes you watch an unskipable ad after every level, wich is annoying so i droped it. i dont know about the economy and/or grind for the aforementioned reason, but the game seemed interesting enough for me not to give it just one star.

Great game. Arena mode is relaxing while the story mode offers decent challenge. Game play is fun with more flexible control. Really enjoying the game so far and only through first chapter. Great music, great graphics, and good style.

The game is amazing with a nice feel to it and good graphics. Levels are well designed with increasing difficulty, it has way to many ads too retry a level, yet it is understandable. I enjoyed it very much and I would it again or a sequel anytime.

If you want a high-quality, challenging and rewarding side-scroller action game with sick boss fights -- look no further than Star Knight. Easily the best game on mobile, and one of my top 10 across all platforms. Personally, I dont mind the ads between levels because you need that 30 seconds to re-center yourself after the intense bouts of action. But if the ads ruin the flow for you, just shell out the extra buck (literally a dollar) to get rid of em... ez pz.

The gameplay is alright, but I got stuck on the first boss fight and was forced to watch an entire 30 second ad each time I lost. This kind of experience makes a good game feel like garbage, so thats the rating im giving.
