Not liking this update. Not sure why they added a feature that when you select a coupon to add to your card, it has the phone vibrate. Most pointless and annoying new feature and I can't figure out how to turn it off. Also everytime I open the app, it tries to force me to set up a delivery when I don't want to set up a delivery

The list function is disjointed from everything else since the add button puts everything in the cart. This means that clipped coupons go in the list and everything else is in the cart with no way to sync the two or an option to add to a list vs cart. Lists and cart aren't sorted for in store shopping. For finding what's in the store and coupons, the app is functionally adequate

TERRIBLE app. I clipped a coupon and during checkout it didn't go through. The cashiers tried their best to help by using my phone number and scanned my member card multiple times but nothing worked. Seeing the other reviews it seems that my experience isn't unique.

This could be a good app but it isn't. Using this app is a chore. "Clipping" digital coupons is silly. I have to enter my phone number at the register to show I'm a member anyways, why not just automatically apply the "for U" discounts at the register? The app is probably already tracking purchases made under my phone number, so what do the developers gain by forcing me to clip ahead of time? Also, I haven't gotten the barcode scanning feature to work.

Everyday I get a message this app is tracking. Stop tracking your customers especially if they are not shopping. Also, most people clip coupons while shopping or close to start shopping but the coupons will not work if you clip under 30 mins, what's the point?

This app tracks your location without permission. I have all permissions for this app disabled yet I am notified by my Android phone that this app is tracking my location. The developers have chosen to implement spyware on my grocery app? Great, UNINSTALLED. I will also be reporting this to the Google Play store for privacy violations.

Not worth using. It takes over an hour to just look through the sales. Not worth my time. Who has time to do this every week? At least looking through a paper flyer is quicker! Constantly have to call the store for password reset. I hear Wegmans is fantastic!

Appears to override settings to consonantly track your movements. I get a warning it is tracking me frequently even though I have blocked that setting.

This actually works well. The coupons and point redemptions are all accurately reflected at checkout.

WARNING: please read before using. When you place an order, a hold is put on your account for the amount. If you order $100 of items, they don't have inventory control, so you will end up with, say, only $10 worth, but you will not have access to the remaining $90 for a week or so. Also, if you edit your order, the hold is then for two orders, so you should never edit the order. You will also have to fight to get any funds back, and it takes much effort and time. There is no support.

Great app except you a) can't edit an order even if the pickup window is the next day/several days, and b) once you make your order you cannot see what you bought! It only shows a few items and then "+25" for example. It's very frustrating!

App keeps kicking me out when I click a specific item. I can add to cart but cant click into item.

The app isnt so bad but the drive up and go sucks the guys dont pay attention or deliver it to your car.

Do not like this new version. I never see "my list" unless it is in the cart, can't find my rewards, coupons clipped on home computer do not transfer to mobil app. With prices going up, up, up, any mistakes or failures to apply coupons makes it hard to keep shopping here. Also, I do NOT want delivery or have someone else to do my shopping. The app makes it EXTREMELY difficult to get away from the app constantly pushing as the only option.

This app lacks an important feature. If you add an item to your cart from the sales flyer, only the name transfers, not the image, price or expiration date. In previous versions, this info was available and then it disappeared over a year ago. Without this information, or the ability to delete all expired items at once, I have to delete items manually or the shopping list becomes completely unusable.

Looked for an update. Lots of glitches with this app. you end up paying full price for items that are discounted. Many times coupons wont go through, unreliable at best. Sometimes cashier wont give you time to enter # for coupons. You can fix this at the service desk, but it is a real hassle. Ive also had problems with rewards that were due to me. I like the idea of saving $ with Just for you, but fix the bugs with an update plz!

When it works it offers great savings. I save a lot using this app when it works, but it often doesn't work. For or the past few months it has been experiencing many technical difficulties. coupons not loading, unable to connect to server, rewards points not being given, clipped coupons and rewards not being honored. it seems to be getting worse. hopefully they will fix these issues soon.

The issue is solved in the new version. Definitely love the new app. It's a lot easier to use. ——————————————————— Can't sign in. I've tried several times, but everytime I entered the verification code, it poped out a service problem (Ucaprofile - Error Code: 1002)

There is no way to add an item from the Browse tab to the "My List" section. The item is added to a cart instead to go checkout, when in reality most people need the item added to "My List" to be able to shop in the store and combine those items with clipped deals. I will certainly update this rating once that's resolved.

Original review, 11/20: Simple to understand & easy to use. Great way to save money. Update 5/24/21: the recent changes to the app are awful. It's not user friendly at all anymore. Please go back to simple & easy. The worst: no Just for U coupon option for a product that is clearly advertised in the weekly flyer, right on the front page. P.S. not app related, but it's really frustrating when the Buy 5 deals don't ring up the sale prices when you buy 5.... Update 9/25/21 Much, much, much better.

As far as I can see, there is no way to turn off the location detection on this app. It continually tracks the device it is installed in. Not cool! Deleted it.

app often opens up as if I've never used it before

it equates to a mobile news paper. Why are there two steps to use coupons? If I clip something, it should use it. I wish there were a feature to scan my purchases or potential buys to mark favorites. Then when a coupon becomes available, it could notify me. this app should be more convient than a news paper, but is it not.

this app is so confusing. I don't even understand where to clip deals anymore. why can't you just click something from the weekly ad and be given the option to clip the deal. the old version of the app was much better. I literally hate it now.

This app was great and then it just stopped working. Cannot add any rewards or clip any offers, it just keeps saying service problem and to call some number. I'm losing out in a lot of deals and rewards because of this.

Pretty good, it's like other supermarket apps. It has a lot of the same coupons as other stores or manufacturers coupons so there's overlap but if Star/Shaw's is your closest store or you can stack with a store sale it's great. You can also view the weekly ad so you don't have to wait for the physical circulars

Every time I open the app I need to resubmit my zip and re-select my local store, which is always a long ways down the list. Obnoxious thing to have to do every time. Other features are great.

This is an offensive concept... but beyond that the coupons actually don't work/apply; it can find coupons just not the ones shown on the shelf. This being to the extent I believe it legally constitutes bait-and-switch I will be contacting Mass consumer protection authorities. Note that Star Market deliberately hides applying some coupons until end of checkout, and does in bulk, to prevent you from auditing whether they were applied.

They made the app so hard to navigate. The older version was much more intuitive. They also have made the deals awful. You can never get a good deal on here anymore.
