Star Music Player

I've been using this app for years and I have loved it. It's the best and I would give it 5 stars, except now all of a sudden I can't add songs to any playlists if they are saved on the SD card and they don't appear in the music folder under the "folders" tab. Also, the screen lock player does not accurately depict what song is playing and if I try to skip to the next song it goes to any random song instead of the next one in the list, as if it's in shuffle mode. Please fix!!! Thank you!!

Best player in my opinion. Able to visualize lyrics already added to song files on the sister app (Star music tag editor) even while offline, that's really cool. Amazing sound output. You can create a playlist. Playlists created on computer from Windows Media Player is totally compatible with this app if the files are stored same way on phone and computer. I also like it that the developer is a keen listener to ideas and opinions which he implements instantly. You're the best.

Could have been a simple but effective music player app but this app has standard issues to first deal with. Like settings is only in name as when you press it, it shows all songs and playlists not app settings. Can't change player output, no in-built equalizer or volume booster, no tag editor, no lock screen, playlists seems to work and not. Its been a year with so many bugs, no updates are there looks like Devs has abandoned it. Users like us should move towards FOSS alternatives.

Does the bare minimum. The best feature about this app is the music tag editor that comes with it. Songs sometimes don't pick up where you left off. It shuffles in the same order unless you press shuffle sign twice. Overall not the best music player available.

Good music app. The only thing I have problem is the Folder List is still not working. EDIT: I have a new phone with Android 10. According to some reviews it can't add songs to playlist. I don't know if it's a bug or it's the android version. Please fix ASAP!

I love this. Lately, the sleep timer won't work. I try to clean the data, and now it suddenly stop playing when I try to unlock or simple just swipe my phone left or right. And, is that normal that the volume suddenly increase or decrease when I open the app?

I'm giving a rating of only 3 stars cuz of the following: 1. I don't like how the bar to switch between categories is arranged... Calendar|Song|Playlist|Folder|Album|Artist|Genre. The category of |Song| should b after the category of |Folder|. 2. The albums don't appear within the sub-bar of the main bar... |Artist|. So I'll give the remaining 2 stars when that gets fixed.

Honestly one of my favorite music players on any phone. Being able to edit the music i download and have cool looking lock screen add on is just half of the gold this app offers. Been using it since 2016 hope I'll be carrying out that use throughout the rest of my years

It's a great music player with integration with their tag editor. I would rate it 5 stars but the add to play queue doesn't seem to be working for me. If this bug was fixed I would definitely rate 5 stars

Worked perfectly on my old Android 6 phone. Now I have android 9 and no albums are displayed when going in via the artist tab. Going in via the album tab works. But pretty useless if you can't see all the albums of a particular artist.

Deleting song files directly through the app doesn't clear them until you reboot phone. Playlists don't save and they disappear on phone reboot. Some songs just get skipped. App would have been great otherwise.

Nice app overall but my playlists always get deleted automatically eventually for some reason. Also, it would be nice if we can change the font and size of the lyrics with the editor app

Even though in the picture it shows a shortcut to their app for editing song info, it doesn't appear for me. Other than that everything else works.

Absolutely phenomenal music player, no issues whatsoever and instantly refreshes to fetch newly added songs when choosing to do so! The tag editor also helps significantly!

Everything I needed in a music player to replace the stock one on my Galaxy. Along with its companion app to find missing information for my music everything is now organised and ready to use.

The only thing I didn't like about this player is that neither it shows any album art in artists list nor it gives you any option to add one yourself due to which artists list looks very dull

I love this app cuz its very light and fast. But it didnt work for lyrics app . So I have to play my music in my phones original music player in order to use my lyrics app

I thought the app was perfect until it started pausing music files on its own. Not cool at all. FIX IT!!!

It can't scan all available music file. Tried to open as audio file and this app didn't show as available app to play the mp3. What is this app for?

well, it's a excellent app but i have a problem, when i write 'Sweetener' there appears 'sweetener' and put it at last, also the order the alphabet, like the lowercase are in the end and no in their letter order with the others, but anyway it's good

I like this because it displays lyrics stored in the music file. Korean lyrics display well unlike some of the other players.

Good app with one thing making it only 4 stars for me - somehow but not often, my saved playlists in the player is gone.. like there was none that was created.. is this a bug somehow?

Awesome app, I love it. Helps me alot when I need to tag music im releasing. It's only downfall is the ads, on the next update please reduce them.

I LOVE THIS APP, but what does playing music and this app wanting permissions to make and manage calls on my phone have to do with logical sense!?!!, Hhmmm

used to love it for over two years but now it can not play music from the background for more than a minute it will automatically stop

nice music player. lyrics appear when tapping in the album art while playing the song.

The Icon disappeared when you opened the song there is a box up there :( on the notification bar now it is gone :( please bring it back
