Star Music Tag Editor

It would be good if: you could go into a specific folder to edit the tag of an mp3 in case ur song or album is not detected, and most importantly, being able to edit multiple songs at a time instead of having to waist time editing one song at a time. I often just end up having to go to my damn computer every time an album is not correctly tagged. Add these changes, until then i cant give this app more than 2 stars.

Horrible after new update,music wont upload and its all blank plus after trying everything to get the files from my sd card to be able to show in the app,it wont show at all. Useless and besides too many ads popping up... Pure trash just like the developers.

Easily the best app for editing music tags. I've been using it for years now and feel bad I only just now gave it a review. Thank you app devs for the gold!

Just like everyone else is saying, there's nothing but "invalid audio frame" error messages. The app is entirely unusable, and there's no alternative to my knowledge. It's been over a year since the last update, and a week without food. I haven't seen the sun in a month. The devs have abandoned us; we are soon to perish without their return. /jk

Not optimal, lots of typing and searching, not auto

Worst app ever, you have to put in all the info for it to search for the info, it's a useless app, don't download this

The ads are horrible. The ad at the bottom is fine. But all three files I get another fullscreen ad. This is just way to often. It won't save wma files at all. No message or anything. You click 'save' and the program starts working but it won't save anything. The app also destroyed one of my files. It only happened once and I don't care really but it should not happen. Otherwise it works as intended and I still use it to edit my media files. But it's far away from being a good app.

It's a really good app for remaining and organizing songs. I've been using it for some time now. Recently I've run into a problem where the edits I make don't show in the song. For example, say I change the album of a song. After hitting save, the app takes me out of the editing screen and I see that the album didn't change. But when I go back in to edit the album, it is changed. Even the music app uses the old album. And to make things worse, this would occasionally corrupt the song.

One album at a time, but it's intuitive and reliable. I'm going to remove my SD card now and see if it keeps the metadata. Removed and re-installed SD card - album art still intact! Good news. Search doesn't find the correct cover art sometimes, but I can live with that. My plan is to clean up my library (not huge; ~ 1000 songs), and load it to a new/larger SD card, then get busy updating the cover art as necessary. Hope I don't run into the app freeze, song and tag deleting problems mentioned in some of the reviews. Ads of course are annoying, but not a deal breaker.

Did exactly what I needed, allowed me to fix a problem in the metadata of some songs, which was separating them into different albums. It's pretty easy to find songs and the app can find album art too. There are adverts but what else can you expect from a free app? The only missing star is it would be helpful to change data across multiple songs in one go to force songs to align. That said, it's definitely worth a try. Much better at what it does than the fancy music editor app I tried first.

It is very useful but there are several things that I don't like. First of all is that when I edit albums that has a different character (for example ê,ç,ñ) it turns into a question mark. Which causes a lot of problems. Another thing is the function where you can edit several songs at once never worked for me. It either freezes or crashes. Overall its still useful.

Anybody who downloads music needs this app! I have used this app across several devices for several years. There is no other better tag editor than this - I've tried them all! It's super easy to use, even if you can't find your album cover automatically you can then search online for it which never fails. Adding lyrics is super easy and I have no issue with my Galaxy S8+ recognising them. This is one of the best apps I've got on my phone. I've downloaded over 1200 songs and edited every single one of them with this app without issue!

The app is able to present its service by giving its users the ability to edit the tags of the musics that the users have in their cellphones, and it was successful at doing so. Though based on the other users and my experience, some file extensions (such as .m4a) are editable, but the lyrics section of the music with the different file extensions won't be able to display the lyrics edited inside by the use of your app. To make this app better, try supporting other file extensions.

I used to use this app to label and sort my music. Which it was highly effective at, a really great app. After the recent large Android update on my Samsung, this app no longer works at all. All my cover art has disappeared, and can't be changed. The names can't be changed, or any of the details. I expect it's a compatibility issue with the new android update, and that if so, can be fixed. Until then, I won't be using this app, as it no longer works. Which is a shame really.

Finally! I found an app that let's me change the album art and song details so that Google Play recognises and uses them! Thank you. I found I had to select the songs (you can select multiple songs) rather than the album to change the album art, artist etc but that's a very minor issue. Every other app I've used doesn't work for Google Play at all. It's been frustrating and irritating until now seeing the grey screen on Google Play. thanks again.

in short, I love this app. it's really easy to change my cover for my songs and add lyrics. However there are some cases whereby one of my song cover overwrites the songs from other album which is a bit annoying. So some of my song covers are wrong and I can't change it no matter how I tried. Also, sometimes the cover changes to a different one when I move my songs from internal storage to sd card. I don't know if it is the app bug or a phone bug. Is there a solution to solve this?

Edit: Just like everyone else, this app suddenly goes into error whenever I try to edit a new mp3 file. Fix! Old review: This app does exactly what it promised, hurray! However I am a little annoyed by the "help" texts tho, they sound like they were written by someone who knows zero english and relied heavily on google translate. Also the ads. They don't pop up as often as they do in most apps, but they're still (annoyingly) intrusive. Other than these problems, I definitely recommend this app.

This would be the best such app I've tried, and is give it five stars except for two problems: • It seems to require an album name or it won't save any changes. But I don't always know what album a song is from or I don't care. So I deal with it by print a random character. • It does have pretty frequent ads that busy in, take up the whole screen and usually force you to watch a few seconds of video. Probably you can pay to get rid of them, though.

This app does exaxtly what it promises and works really well and it's very simple and easy to use. The ads aren't too annoyingly intrusive its just more of a minor inconvenience, but I would prefer the lack of popup ads (other ads are fine). However one main nitpick I have is the lack of split screen support. It would make things a lot more convenient, if say I could watch youtube videos whilst editing the playlists, rather than sacrificing one over the other. But other than that it's a good app

Only one I've found on the app store that actually works but it still doesn't ALWAYS work. Ex. sometimes I need to redownload songs because it won't let me modify their tags for some reason, and the calendar feature which I used to use all the time no longer works on my S10 (might have been broken by upgrading to Android 11). But when it does work, it's great (and I'll gladly change to 5 stars if these issues are fixed)!

It's great. I just wish I could add cover art with dimensions other than 1 to 1 ratio... without it centering as well. For some art, this is fine and it's actually much easier and less tedious than cropping it myself because I know with this way it will crop it perfectly. But for others, it just isn't the same without the full art. And I don't always have access to a pc or even know how to tag music that way anyways. I tried it before and corrupted what I was trying to add art to.

This is the easiest music editor I have used so far. Picking the album art and renaming the song was simple and I did it in no time. I just hope glitches and bugs would not occur in the near future. Also, please optimize your app, I believe my device slows down completely while using it. Nonetheless, still a great app.
