Immediately after the tutorial the game's difficulty ramps up immensely. Shortly thereafter you will find the paywall. I hope you enjoy playing for ten minutes and letting your resources gather for hours. Pacing is all wrong, experience levels feel out of balance and too many desperate attempts at IAP make this a good concept marred by terrible execution. Enjoy your revenue stream.
Lol, the players who say this is pay to play haven't figured out how to build their ships correctly. You are put in a small multi-player bracket and you need to outscore your rivals and come in the top 3 to win the most gems. I usually win my bracket when I'm trying. I was playing against a top 10 player and he was a little bit ahead of me for a few days and then in the last 8 hours I ground out a win and some it from him. The next 2 matches I saw him he buried me on the 1st day, like he was spending mad gems to make a point, so I just coasted for a 2nd or 3rd place win, then I got a nicer bracket and started getting 1st again. I haven't played in awhile because you need to play every few hours to win your bracket and I'm less obsessed with the game right now, but if you're one of those smart, obsessive players who loves beating the players who put money into the game, this is a good game for you. The secret is to have a beatable player in your bracket who is equal or just above you and you pound him relentlessly.
Barely anything is accessible without paying or waiting for extended periods of time. Could maybe be fun if it wasn't such a cash grab.
Guaranteed 4-5 star hero is a lie. Got a 3 star Luna who is literally only good for leveling other heroes. Ultimate draw my arse.
Slow way too slow . need loads of credits for development and takes ages to get them. Sorry not for me. Pay to win again me thinks.
Extremely expensive only for the well heeled. If your budget is tight forget this one.
Can't trust the offers for premium currency. The "Ultimate Warp" is supposed to give "Guaranteed 4-5 star" heroes but can actually give 3 star heroes. Thus it is not a guarantee as advertised. At nearly five dollars per pull (list price of 500 crystal is 4.99 and one pull is 300 crystal), we should get what is advertised.
Very much grind, and a lot of time to build. No way to find Facebook friends. Also the titanium needed is much less then gold. It could be a lot better. The game seems always the same

Cant you come up with your own game, just rip-off somone elses and get money from it? PSS has been on IOS for a year now and you bring this trash out. This game is NOT an original just copied from another platform. Pixelstarships.

I had barely played for 3 days... hit the pay wall. Bought almost $100 worth of stuff and my phone died. Got it replaced and tried re-installing and nothing to recover... I'll be contacting play store and getting a refund. This game is a complete waste of time and money.

Game seems to end about 4 battles after the tutorial.
Interesting concept and mechanics, nice graphics, would be a decent game if it was pay-once(+paid campaigns maybe) and not pay-to-win moneysucker. No plot, grindy achievements, why would you play it? Go play FTL instead.

Kongregate pulled the plug. Game will end 4/30/2017. It was just Boom Beach in space.. It wasnt an engaging game by any means... But it was a game to play now and then. Wish they had taken some suggestions early on about balance, pricing, and leveling, rather than see their numbers plummet and have to shut off their server, killing the game.
