Fun game if you are into 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate) strategy games. The free version has 3 of the 9 factions available and limits the technologies you can research, but is still fun. I'm considering buying the full version after my first play through and I never pay for mobile games. I watched a short tutorial from youtube and only recall struggling with how to invade a planet, other than that the gameplay was pretty smooth.

Base game is incomplete; upgrades needed to build new ships are behind a paywall or nonexistent. The game needs polish on its tech tree. It's playable. Could be a great game if they fixed that. For example: you cannot build a new type of colony ship, because even if you research the module, you need the SKILL colonize (which doesn't exist) so you can't build colonies with upgraded starports. The same goes for boarding enemy ships; the skill is elite only, though maybe that's intentional.

While the gameplay itself is fun, I have had an issue with the optional dlc, being that you have to buy the more expensive one to be able to research(and use) the less so, I did not realize this until after I had bought it as there are no warnings. If this is fixed at some point I would gladly give 5 stars as its a fun game. Thanks for putting time and effort into the game, devs, and please fix this irritating issue.

not what I expected. most of these types of games are the player leading one nation to dominate them all. here you are king of multiple nations helping them expand and making sure they don't tear each other apart. the game play is fun but confusing. also I'm having a problem with my population growing so fast that I'm almost constantly building habitats. either slow population growth or make habitats have more space.

The game seems to lack depth, after initially establishing colonies it's very boring and microcontrolly, but the combat is kinda nice. Again, the game lacks depth, and frankly modern phones can handle pc games of the past like MOO, so game designers, please, you can learn from those games and make something better on mobile. I'd buy it, but there doesn't seem to be any replayability or anything else to do in the game apart from what I did in the tutorial. And that's disappointing.

Solid 4.5 stars for this game. The graphics are very pixelated but not enough for it to be bad, just enough to give it a rustic feel. It's gameplay is good, but the amount of things that are paid subscriptions is a little insane. Henceforth, -0.5 stars

It's decently challenging even in the easiest difficulty it's not like you gonna take 15 or 30 turns and just finish, you also have to take care of your ships, planets health, and not being oblivious to the point that a internal war occurs.

My only complaint is that the star maps dont appear to be procedurally generated, so if you play through a map size once you have a pretty good idea of what future play throughs of that map will be like. Aside from that great value for the price.

Complex game. Best to play with the tutorial at first. Requires a fair amount of time to play. Empire building, with economic and social aspects. Enjoyable and challenging to play.

One of the best Mythos settings that is rich and addictive. You choose out of 9 factions and help build the foundations within a new galaxy. Each Faction will have refugees arriving as you navigate Politics and balance rediscovering and implementing technologies to survive the void; and ultimately fighting for survival from the various species of Xeno in the Star Traders universe. It is rough around the edges but has it where it counts.

Wonderful. Well thought-out, well designed, well implemented. Lot of fun if you like plannig/building type games. A lot of thought, care & work went into this over a long time.

The developers are very accessible and willing to help with any problem. The game is also great. Best mobile space4x game hands down

The game is difficult to learn, but is fun when you do. I would say to get the free version first, see if you like it and can learn it. Then get the full version. (It's a lot more fun). And, NO ADS!

All and all a pretty good Forex strategy the only thing is that touch moving ship thing it's a bit touchy was better last time I played the game by Gaston update meetings a little if he sometimes your ships won't move or you will move or go to the wrong direction other than that it's pretty cool. Tech Tree research Planet building Colony squashing and ship bashing

Really cool 4X game for mobile. Graphics have an old school style, but the gameplay is complex and feels like a more modern 4X. Thanks to the Devs. Fun to play free and paid.

Looks fun. The game is complicated, that's a good thing. However, the tutorial is hopeless, it does not teach you how to play. So hours of guessing? Uninstalled.

Lio. C. Aug 18, 2019

Just started the tutorial, but it would be nice if you could turn off the busy background image so the (tiny) dots would be easier to see...

Rare to find games of adequate quality without incessant and annoying monetization features on mobile. Glad to have found one of the needles in the haystack.

Phi. F. Oct 5, 2018

So impressed. Feels like it has the depth of MOO2 and genuine free to play. The upgrades and add-ons look like a fair price.

Dav. J. Jan 29, 2019

Simple and enjoyable. Huge tech tree. Haven't paid yet to unlock all options, but definitely planning to.

Bra. V. May 22, 2020

A great management game. Very like the other Trese products with loads of detail beneath the surface. Remember to build habs.

Thanks guys. Sorry it took me so long to get back around. Updated my rating since you guys fixed the bug. On a side note. Why the disparity in prices? Android users enjoy all your games for so much less money. But playing on my giant iPad is so much more fun.

Great game. Although, the game lags as the game progresses (in big maps), especially when having more colonies.

Tim. A. Aug 16, 2021

What the hell is going on? Am i really in charge of 3 different factions? The dialogue is painful to watch but dont tap the screen to much cuz the dialogue will end and it'll take your taps as commands to your ships sending them where u dont want to go and wasting fuel. Why cant someone make something amazing like Masters of Orion? Why do i have to look for 25 year old floppy disks to play a quality game? I'm glad i tried this before paying for ST frontier first. You sure are sad and sorry Bro

Good balance between complexity and fun. However, I would prefer to use my own keyboard rather than the in-game one.

And. T. Jul 29, 2019

Highly addictive (just one more turn). Not always sure of the effects of your actions, especially at the start. Highly recommend

Mr.. S. Apr 11, 2020

Exellent game play. But it keeps crashing after 92turns. I have already send a mail. Please help

Jef. B. Jun 3, 2020

Could get past the tutorial. Not enough graphics to visualize the scope intended.
