First there was the Exodus – when survivors of a great war left the ruins of the Galactic Core behind in search of a new home in the stars. Scattered worlds were claimed on the fringe of the galaxy. Each pocket of survivors held on to an isolated set of worlds while trying to rebuild under the great law of Shalun. Three centuries later, technology has brought them back together again. Discovery of the hyperwarp has bridged what was once an unimaginable distance between far-flung colonies, long-lost families, and political factions.

With that reunification has come great economic prosperity. The hyperwarp reestablished the transportation of cargo, goods, and technologies between the quadrants – but it has also brought great strife. Political rivalries have been rekindled, blood has been shed in age-old feuds, and the fires of war have been stoked. Amidst the political infighting, a ruthless revolution is rising – and the fervent explorers of the hyperwarp have awoken something that was better left asleep.

Our very first game, Star Traders RPG, took hundreds of thousands of gamers on an interstellar adventure. Star Traders’ success and overwhelmingly positive reception helped to launch Trese Brothers Games. It was the adventures of our community’s star-crossed captains that put us on a trajectory to share more of our worlds, ideas, and dreams.

We set out to capture the loneliness, bravery, and camaraderie of people living together in a spaceship sailing across the stars. It is with great pride that after releasing four other games in the Star Traders universe, we’ve created a sequel to the original Star Traders RPG.

Step onto the bridge of your starship, take to the stars, and create your own story in Star Traders: Frontiers.

Great game to play as a roguelike but very heavy on the RNG. You could outclass your enemy ship in all points and still get destroyed, or at least lose some of your crew in ship combat. This last point is really frustrating. You could get attached to some crew members and lose them in the background of ship combat without much you can do about it. Your level 20 doc? Gone, but he saved that pistoleer. There are some UI problems (clicking on some small menus awkwardly recognized) but it's minor.

Great game ! There are so many games of exploration, combat, etc, and yet so few of them have a story at all, much less an interesting one, and deep world building. It is a shame. No matter how good the gameplay is, if the story is bland or even absent, and if the world is uninteresting, then I will lose interest very quickly. It seems that 95% of the games I try are like that. It is so rare for me to find a game I really enjoy playing, such as this one.

Look I will keep this short. This game is great, it has its flaws but there are some points in the game you feel mighty and have passed a obstacle in your way to improving. Its really hard, and I mean it with how the game goes. Took me 5 tries to get a run where I wasnt screwed without fuel or a hyperdrive. So for all new players I recommend increasing fuel storage or decrease fuel costs with the different components you can install. I recommend patience, to improve and eventually conquer it.

I really like the idea of this game but the saving option is pointless. Part of playing games is making mistakes and saving points help alot. I know there games that offer difficulty modes that do the same thing but it should be an option. There is no forgiveness if make a decision in the game you want to change. For me the game looses it enjoyment.

Overal great RPG for mobile. One major gripe i have, however, is the difficulty curve even on the easier difficulties. I was well into a playthrough and doing pretty well for myself, but got sent on a mission to an area which i could neither refuel nor repair my ship due to negative influence with factions. The game slowly became more and more unplayable until I couldnt even move my ship without mutinies and being shot down by other ships. Other than that, however, no complaints.

Fantastic game! Some adjustments could be made to rebalance things, like the early difficulty of combat, but overall I am very satisfied with the time and effort put into the game. You can tell the devs actually cared about making something worth playing.

I honestly love it, hooked onto the game. Never thought I will be addicted to it however I do have one issue though, sometimes when I am in a mission like combat battles, the game would kick me out of the application for no apparent reason. Please do advise me in this matter. Thank you my good sir.

I've played and purchased many of the Trese Brothers games over the years including this one. An excellent coding group and gameplay experience throughout. A little puzzled by the last few 2-Star ratings though. There are a ton of places to learn about these games. Great job TB ... Keep up the good work!

I've played a lot of space games, for every 25 I probably like... One. This qualifies. There's no rush unlike some games where time progresses whether you're playing it or not. The factions feel politically different and there doesn't seem to be a clear right or wrong, so you can make your own decisions about who to help or not. Overall I give it a 9/10. Only lacking in alien races and graphically it's not the greatest. Minor complaints for me though.

I'm having a lot of fun with this game.theres a learning curve but after that it's great.(update) I still enjoy the game but not getting credit for any of the unlocks not sure why but gonna uninstall and hope it gets fixed one day😭

I am addicted to this game. It's simple interface hides its complexity. I bought the Steam version as well. It's a lot of fun to play. If you don't like it you probably don't get it. Neither did I in the beginning. It will take time to understand what's going on. A lot of fun though.

Amazing game, tactical game with a sandbox twist. The icons are a bit small for a phone screen, could you add a way to make them bigger. Thx

I really wanted to like this game. I've played it on and off for quite awhile. The design and overall gameplay is intriguing. However, you get attacked by random ships that you can't escape from and can't defeat way too often. Yet playing the game on anything less than permadeath for the captain is too lame. The result is that it's more frustrating than fun, and at the end of the day I'd rather have more fun.

This is the hardest mobile game I've ever played, even to get another ship besides the starter ship is an absolute grind, I can see it being a fun game after you can actually compete with all the random encounters, but my god it's frustrating constantly running and being beaten by stronger AI.

The game is very well done , it really is above and beyond for a phone game . But , I can't hardly read it with out a magnifying glass . So I your over 30 I recommend a tablet . Also , the ships seem a little limited , but props to the boarding option .

Unparalleled depth and customization, fresh ongoing updates and spaceships. What more could you ask for!? 😄

Basically unplayable on Pixel 4. Need zoom option for tiny text. Lame Otherwise "ok" game (on PC). Overall some of UI is a bit janky which makes game confusing and you need a pad and paper to write stuff down. The only other big miss is the storyline games are not fun. The game may be better if you could turn the story off as it is just an annoying popup for veteran players at some point. Also the new unlock lame AF. Paid to be locked out booo

Onece again this game is amazing for any space or sci-fi enjoyers. -Its offline -It dosent take much space -theres good strategies for ships and crew!

Fun. I am enjoying the game. I am looking forward Volume 2 of the continuing story. Minimum glitches that don't disrupt gameplay...I only noticed mainly text based errors.

Keep adding job class please...I'm suggesting a new job class that can limited copy other job classes talents. This should be fun and challenging at the same time.

I'm a Treese fan for life, I've never been disappointed with their games. It has been a joy seeing their skills improve and scope broaden over the years. In particular, this is their best-looking game yet. There is a wealth of content. Turn-based and heavy on reading, this is not a game for everyone. However if you want to try something a little smarter than a lot of other space sims, you might want to try it out! Unfortunately, on mobile the UI is kind of bloated and the text is really cramped.
