the APP DID WORK go into your settings and give permission to microphone and storage (i think) then will work. mine kept crashing too but i just fixed it. i was able to briefly fix it but it only worked for one scan then stopped responding not sure if its batteries or what.

Had trouble with it not loading at first until went into app details and changed the privacy settings to give access to the mic and internet - now works smoothly on my chrome book. My daughter got Starlily several years ago and we could only get the app to work on her brother's tablet until now (which he kept uninstalling). For the first time she got Starlily singing, saving progress, finally interacting with Starlily the way it was supposed to. Swipes better on a tablet. Aim mic toward toy.

I loved it !!! NOTE.PLEASE.READ .For any one who downloads it do not uninstall or anything if it does work for you the first time dont bother reading go to settings the go to apps and notificatcions or what your app thing is then go to perrmissions it should be in microphone it os disabled.if you enable it it will work . hope this was helpful 😄👋

I'm giving it a 0 star rating if I could because this app doesn't even open even if you try opening it on different devices it still doesn't work and it's really frustrating because all I want to do is just play with a new toy and it doesn't work and it's really annoying so try to fix that. so just fix it it's not that hard it's just annoying thank you

Been a week long endeavor to no avail. App still crashes on start. Installed at least 10 times. Changed settings. There's no reason for this. I have a galaxy s10. Practically brand new phone. Looks to me like this company needs to focus on fixing their app

Hi I'm a 9 y.o and I have a star lily that's 2-3 years old, and it's not working with the scan if you can fix this please let me know. Also I did have my show at 2 volume star lily was on and everything, and I even got a ruler made them exactly 5 feet apart I believe. And it still doesn't want to work

Daughter got this as a gift and loves it! Note: If the app force closes or has never worked for you , Go to Settings>Apps. Find the app in the list. Go to Permissions. Check everything. Go back one step. Force Close the App. Restart the app again. With this fix, I could use the app just fine and connect the toy even using a non supported phone and tablet. Was force-closing before and hasnt done it since.

I retract my previous review. Please disregard. I've downloaded the app after granting access to my mic and storage in my settings as directed, and the app still works and makes StarLily that much more fun and interactive on my Chromebook. This is the best $3.00 I've spent on a thrifted toy!

I bought this for my daughter and I cannot get the app to load. I've downloaded it multiple times on multiple tablets/phones/etc. it will just sit on the Hasbro screen and then fails. if part of interacting with this toy is through the app, and you pay $200 for a child's toy, more than a phone, you expect it to work. I've always loved Hasbros creations and of course they are the home to many of our loved 80s characters, but come on Hasbro, help us out. please figure out the glitch.

If I could rate this 0/5 it still wouldn't be low enough. App crashes and won't load. We've been trying it on multiple devices for months now and still no fix. How are they still selling this toy and not being held accountable for such a garbage app? Will be sending an email in to their head quarters. Thanks for one super upset kid.

This app does not work at all. Product advertising is misleading as the toy cannot be used with an app. Tried on multiple devices; crashes instantly. Hopefully this gets fixed!

Crashes as soon as you try to open it! Tried reinstalling twice and the same issue. Doesn't look like the developers are that bothered as been loads of similar feedback and still not fixed.

After reading the book that came with the toy after it wouldn't load I realized I had to allow permissions for the microphone and storage. If you're having issues with the app please try that.

Abismul; it just crashes and says restart the crashes again . Way to break kids hearts , certainly will be returning this and never involving fureals in my family's life again, great idea , terrible execution, kids don't forget being disappointed a After being so excited for it. Extremely disappointed! my daughter go the very expensive starlily for Christmas and it wont work on ANY of our devices just says it stopped responding. I tried going to the settings and changing permissions as stated above but it still wont work!

Just go to permission settings for the app and allow mic and storage. Works fine afterwards. Wish there was some type of warning somehow, had to search a while.

Hasbro could care less about updating this app. But here's a tip that will make it work again. Use an older phone or pad from that period, 2015-2017. Preferably an android op system 5.0 kernel version around 3.10.54. In addition use a Bluetooth speaker works much better. I have had no problem. You can find them on e-bay, craigslist or pawn shops, sometimes thrift shops. More info in the descriptions.

I have tried to open this so i could figure out what all can be done with starlily for my granddaughter who just turned 6 years old. But the darn thing wont open. It goes to the hasbro and then pop up with messege that the app wont open. I would like to know why, am i doing something wrong, and how can this be fixed? Please help me figure this out for my granddaughter.

Awesome! To start app though install. Go to settings. Find app in app list. Open and allow all in settings. Then go back one page and force close. Then open on device w the icon. Works great! Daughter loves it. So cute.

This game is great, but you will have to go on settings and grant app permissions I chose all. The speaker is clicky when starlily lags a bit but that can be fixed by waiting for like 30 seconds and problem solved. I love this game! I'm only 14 :D

I loved this app because you got to interact with StarLily. It was interesting but fun as you were allowed to merge fruits together in one area, bathe StarLily in another, decorate the tree and make music out of the crystals! This app certainly deserves 5 stars. 😁😃👍👍👍🦄

I've tried installing this app twice and it will never open. It immediately crashes after you open it. My daughter is literally crying over this. She just got this from my sister for Christmas and is so upset that she can't do the app activities she was looking forward to. So disappointing

I used to LOVE this app! Now, though, it will not even open! I feel terrible, since I spent tons of money on the toy, played with it a little, and now the app doesn't work! I am heartbroken, as this was my favorite toy. If Hasboro is reading this, please fix the app! It was PERFECT before!

As others have said, crashes as soon as it loads. If you change ap permissions in settings it then works. Wow tricky to get it to connect with star lily

I downloaded the app. It doesn't open once installed. I restarted my phone and even uninstalled the app and then reinstalled and it still doesnt work. Disappointed.

Daughter received this $100 unicorn for Christmas and now we cannot program it as the app crashes as soon as you open it. Hasbro needs to update the app! A huge turn off from investing in more costly toys as in a year or two they are no longer functional.
