Starlink

Starlink is a tactical real-time strategy game about galactic domination. You start by controlling a star in a procedurally generated galaxy, and each star you control produces ships. You can direct ships to other nearby stars that happen to be connected via hyperspace routes in order to capture them, but beware other hostile factions trying to do the same. Don't let your guard down, or you will quickly find your stars overrun with enemy ships.
If the AI proves to be too much of a challenge, invite a friend (or five) to play with you, and share control of the galaxy with them, or join opposing teams and compete against each other -
- it's all up to you.

To make the flow of the game even less predictable, each player can choose from a large list of abilities to take with them into each match that can drastically change the way the game plays. Some abilities are defensive in nature, some offensive, and others are a mix of the two. There are even abilities that let you reshape the galaxy to your advantage, collapsing or creating new hyperspace routes between stars.

And if that's not enough, certain abilities can be used in a sequence for even more devastating effects.

Can your galactic empire prevail and rise up above others? There is only one way to find out...

Different. Definitely a game where you have to pay attention until you've won the entire map. I paid for the full version and I think it Might be worth it, but my only concern is that even though I paid for the full version, there is an option to buy more Points. 2 at a time I am a level 22 with 9 points. I really want 12 points but I've leveled up 3 or 4 times now with no reward except a title. Big whoop. When will I get more points? Emailed and was never answered...

Fun game, thanks! Edit: i see a lot of poor feedback from players frustrated with learning curve, i agree it was not 100% intuitive. Drag arrow between adjacent planets, screen will auto-zoom. Switch after 25 to expand quickly. Some minor dev feedback... the help text on both patriotism and propaganda say +Defense (copy-paste error not very helpful when using both). It would be nice if the graphics more clearly showed effects on planets and links.

Nice enough concept, but too many undesignated premium options in the menus. Really annoying. I have got 4 ability points and Rank 9 but seemingly non-premium abilities just don't unlock. WTH is this? It happens more and more often. Sad to see what has become of the play store.

Graphically one of the best of this style of games I've played, but even on beginner it's impossible. The A.I can obviously move faster than the player, but they've got half the galaxy before I've even got 4 stars. Also, it's pay to play, so if the intro is so difficult, it's not tempting me to waste money on the full version

Best of genre. I have no idea why people give this so few stars. No ads, gameplay is challenging, but fun. Upgrades actually change your play style. AI is challenging. What more could you want?

Absolutely the best/worst game ever! I've been playing essentially every day for YEARS and i CAN'T stop. It's so beautiful and simple and addictive, but SO FRUSTRATING. I'm up to Admiral mode and its insanely hard. Ive played a lot of good and bad mobile games, but there are none that i hate/love more than this one. All i can say is I'll never stop playing. Its THE BEST thing to do while listening to a podcsst or walking on the treadmill or whatever. Thank you Thank you Thank you for this game!

Great potential. Max level for free account is 32 (with 12 commander points). I'm max level now and still only 12 points. You can buy more points for $3 for 2 points. Multiplayer over internet with other paid members is fun but plays differently (packets are fewer in frequency but larger in number of ships per packet)

The controls make no sense. You can't zoom in or look around. The screen is just frozen. You can kinda redirect ships but it doesn't always work. Nothing makes sense and no options fix this. Don't bother. The game simply is unplayable. Anyone that says different is lying.

Don't get me wrong I really, REALLY, love this game but used to be able to use all the power ups and the maps last 5 years ago, but after re downloading it again it's mostly locked behind a paywall.

Played this game a few years ago but got bored. Got it again and I like it just as much as I did back then. Though, it still has the same problem that I used to have and that's when you have a lot of stars and are approaching the end game, stars start to produce considerably less ships. It makes having a lot of stars feel pointless

Great game. I find it opens my way of thinking to alternative approaches. At higher levels it is fairly fast. Good fun and very stable, no crashes or adverts.

Cool strategy, but some times AI (on hight difficult level) is chiting and star producing non const speed. Some times farthest star stop producing if accumulated to match ships in my part of galaxy and only if I start battle with enemy and have lots part of my army stars start producing new ship, but in AI star producing fine.

Unbalanced. How am I getting destroyed on the tutorial level with the lowest difficulty? It's too bad too because I like the idea of the perks and the flow of the game.

Play on anything but medium difficulty and expect long, boring games that usually end in stalemate. Love the game but it's ultra repetitive. Wish it had more game modes.

terrible experience. the game play seems interesting but the touch interface is buggy. you can tap and tap and tap and nothing happens. i even used a stylus to make sure it wasnt my fat dingers causing the problem

Janky controls, bad planet selection, and an unskippable tutorial for a game as simple as click and drag a color around. It's finger painting levels of difficulty that the designers thought needed explaining.

Impossible to win against ai even in tutorial. It has half of the board under its controle while your taking controle of your third star. Edit: 95% percent of the game is locked behind a pay wall.

Not an easy game, especially at a higher level, but still beatable even without purchases. It's the one for strategy players.

I first found this on Amazon years ago when they did their daily free app. I quit using Amazon's app store and paid for the full version on the Google play store. It's been a constant on my phone and my favorite way to kill 10 minutes

Beginner level is apparently unwinnable. Tried several games, but for every star I claim it seems like the AI gets 2 somehow, and I lose through simple attrition.

I've played the hell out of this game, at least 500 hours. Good challenge, a lot of different ways to strategize with different power ups. Would love to see a sequel.

Still Hooked!! Started playing this game pretty much when it was released. Still Hooked and can't quit. Thanks for making such an awesome game 😀 Just one request: please add more modes. 🥺

One of my favourites. Most games are high pressure, or boring, or stupid. I find this game to be an excellent mix. And infinitely replayable.

Is there a way to turn off the planet/star identification pop up? Its driving me mad and breaks my concentration every time it happens. The game is quite engaging otherwise.
