Starmate - Puzzle Adventure

I would love to rank this game higher, it is a blast to play. The problem is that it fails to add some of prizes you have won from comets and the rescue games to your inventory. I have lost a few little prizes because of this. Not enough to make me want to stop playing, but the developers should probably fix this before too long. (changed review from 3 to 5) EDIT: the missing prizes came back when I updated the game.

I love it! I haven't kept a game of this genre as long as I've kept Starmate! The characters are adorable and I love watching them grow up and get stronger! I have a few suggestions though : - Bring back quests! I miss getting lots of rewards through gameplay. - Either make the odds in the Market more varied or increase stock. I'm not enjoying waiting for a particular medal to pop up in the shop, so it would be nice to have more stock daily or all the medals available for purchase at once!

It's a really cute and fun puzzle game! However, I don't like the new level up system. It was really simple, I could tell were each starmate was in level. We could also put starmates in saved teams. Now we need medals and 3 types of foods (which is it necessary?). Again the old system was more simpler and much better. The rarer starmates required more to evolve anyways. There's also furniture and rooms which is cute concept... but I prefer that was optional and it's own gatcha.

This game used to be so much fun before its most recent update. It was clear how to level up your monsters and how to evolve them. Now they changed everything up and its just not fun anymore. It is five times more difficult and confusing than it used to be without adding anything for users to enjoy from the update which only seemed to benefit the devs so they can make more money. It is now nearly impossible to level up your monsters and I losing interest. It was fun while it lasted.

I love the idea. It's such a great game and the characters are so cute in it. The story line lacks a bit but I don't mind. Only problem is the new update. The food addition and the medals make it impossible for me to evole and level my characters. If this part was changed... or made a but fair, I would give it 5 stars.

I love this game!!! The characters are adorable and the art is really beautiful. I usually play this game twice a day. It's very fun to collect all the starmates and see them evolve into bigger more complex critters. All the characters have their own type of special move so you can strategize the best team for each stage. If you like cute characters and matching puzzle games, this is a really fun lighthearted game.

Edit to my previous review. While I am still wary of the medals and furniture being added. They have increased the rates for finding medals (not sure by what percent) the gameplay is still a ton of fun and the enemies are unique compared to other puzzle games. Hopefully the furniture will be useful soon, and when that happens I'll increase my rating to 5 stars.

so far i really love it. I'm only in the 2nd world, so i will give another review when n father along. but i do love the rpg aspects, and the animals are cut. also love the space theme. only reason for the 4/5 is that i don't find it very unique. but time will tell! UPDATE: 7-15-2018 changed my rating to 5/5 stars. I love the evolution process. the animals are pretty original in both looks and personality. and I'm enjoying the ability to make friends without having to go through Facebook.

I usually don't like matching games or like jewel drop games but it's more than that. and plus you don't an add every two seconds like most games. It's pretty fun and a good way to pass time, plus really cute and enjoy not having time of adds. I just wish it was easier to get more creatures.

I've been playing this game for a while and i absolutely love it. The graphics, gameplay and style of all the characters etc. But im having extreme difficulty with the new update. (Also i've noticed other reviews saying thing same thing.) I really love this game and i dont wanna judge, but please put it back? I am also finding it hard to find where to evolve my starmates and if I could get an answer to that, that would be amazing.

Uninstalled after the lateset update. Went from a cute simple game to a virtual pet game. [EDIT] Different food worth different points, decorating houses. It was a hassle to even find the feed page. Can't say much more beyond that cause I instanly dropped out to unistall. Was looking for a cute match game and this no longer fit the bill.

wow. beautiful looks and butter smooth gameplay. didn't expect the game to be as good as it is, highly recommend it now though lol. wonderful characters to collect and upgrade. and an all in all classic twist on the usual boring match 3 games out there. oh and no ads forced upon me as yet neither. well done to the development team.

this game is fun and entertaining. unique and feeals original to me. happy to have given it a try. 8/13/19 update: the game is freezing on level ten of the western planet when Leo is summoned to help. i thought resetting the game would help but all it done was waste my resources. because of this I'm losing interest in the game and is frustrating because it is a good game.

It was great before the update. I would have given a 5 star before. I could easily navigate and had a decent challenge trying to lvl and evolve my monsters along with advancong through levels. Now that its cahnged so much, leveling creatures takes forever and I can't figure out everything anymore. So I had to leave the game.

Amazing adorable game. Unlike games where you feel forced to buy power ups to make it through the game, the characters are given the chance to evolve and level up as you go, keeping you on par with most of the challenges. Would recommend!

I've had a lot of fun with this game. It's easy, and there are no adds. At the end of each level you get to win 3 free items. You can pay for more gems, and what not, but it's not necessary, because you get plenty in game. Its very colorful,and flashy. I love all the cute animals. it's very addictive! Definitely worth a high rating!

Easy to pick up, hard to master. Nice team making, and some characters go good together. Quick and easy to make progress, and above all else, ADORABLE! (There are not enough cute puzzle games out there... This is my safe haven until it shuts down!)

One change that I think is for the worse was having emeralds be used for evolution. You don't get a lot of them especially once you've cleared a lot of levels. Plus it is unfair for newer players to have this hurdle blocking them from getting the higher evolutions while those who have been playing longer don't have to spend the emeralds.

Looks really cute and fun, but it doesn't start for me...i press the play button and the screen just gets stuck on what I assume is a loading screen, with the little starmate walking across the screen. I hope this gets fixed soon, i really want to play!

This is probably my favorite app of all time. It's such a fun game, easy to learn but hard to master. It's quite addicting, and not pay to win like some other games. Plus, the added challenge of formulating the perfect team for the job is unique to this app. On top of it all, the graphics are bright and fun and add a whole new level of enjoyment. 10/10 would recommend!

A fun and cute take on match 3! I really enjoy this game, there's lots to keep you having fun and plenty of boosts and bonuses just for watching optional ads. They also fixed adding more friends in the new update; fast and friendly with feedback! Highly recommended.

Cute is all I really ask for and this delivers. Since I haven't been on long enough I can't really say if its dull gameplay wise but it certainly is bright and colourful. Mini edit - After playing a bit longer I can finally comment on the gameplay. I really enjoy it, the voice keeps everything lively but it is really easy so guess I'll have to get to higher levels. Missed my bus stop so I think that should tell you how engrossed I was XD

Haven't been playing for very long but am enjoying. Game loads a little slowly sometimes but is easy and fun to play. Evolving starmates is NOT as fast as some ads make it seem - but the ability to borrow starmates from other players is incredibly helpful.

Disappointed. This newest update takes a 180 on game progression and makes it nearly impossible with all the additional bloated filler. I was really enjoying the game play and the style, I'm sorry for anyone that has to play the game as it is now. It used to be clear cut and simple but I guess that wasn't racking in enough cash. Shame.
