Starrows
Starrows is some kind of solo MOBA / A-RTS with base building :
Strategic aspects :
- You can build your base with the gold you earn during the game.
- Some of your structures will hire units for you, such as archers or wizards. These units will act on their own.
- You can build merchants, they will improve your units as well as your own stats.
Action aspects :
- You control one hero who can get out of his base, and fight on the battlefield with the help from the rest of your army.
- Each time you get the last hit on one enemy unit, you'll earn more gold and get experience.
- Every heroes have unique abilities, with their own strengths and weaknesses.
The goal is to protect your king and defeat the opponent's king.
Starrows was made for the #1GAM (OneGameAMonth) 2013 challenge. It was submitted as a January entry.

In multiplayer, if you host, the second player cant see enemies till they appear on top of them. If you join, you cant use the auto fire setting as it doesnt work. The game also lags heavily if both player have a lot of troops, to the point where the game breaks. Good game though!
It is so good but there are many things that break the flow of the game. The "cutscenes" showing when a king dies or when the kings brigade shows up are aprupt and completely ruins the emersion . It would be a lot more smooth if the player charactor just said a king had died like how they announce when powers are used. The requirements for the King's brigade being summoned are also weird. I had a game where they showed up 10 seconds into the game. A story mode/Any lore would elevate this game
Addicting! I played this a while back on a old phone. I was looking for a small time waster again & remembered this ol game. Got it again & still 10/10 man! You never truly can beat it, maby you can - but I'm STILL working on getting Dark Mesmer on all the other levels besides the very first. Only thing I would change is giving the player character a small gold accural over time rather than just off of kills on the higher difficulties.
I love the game, although it lacks new heroes/maps but a fun game. The AI always give up (aka not moving) given enough time which makes all maps easy even the last 2 difficulty. the 8 king lava map is sort of broken (only when its custom is all kings are 11/11), making troops walk through the invisible wall and make them walk in random paths. I don't much have problems about the game but the multiplayer is rather lonely all the time.
It's surprisingly good for something developed in a month and a few updates. They do need to fix the overpowered and underpowered characters though. 99% of mobile games are trash but this one was good.
For me, personally, one of the best games on the Play Store: intuitive and simple interface, interesting characters, enjoyable gameplay and you can even play with a friend. No irritating ads. Chef's kiss right there!
This game is owsem still playing since 2017 and running my own tests on the characters and i cant stop its super fun.. i was wondering if there was n way you could make it so that people could play over blutooth incase the servers are turned off just somthing i was wondering about.. and mabey the progress on starrows 2 super hyped just over the idea i hope things are wel and good on your end,!!! i love your game !!!
been playing for awhile now. back before some of the new heroes were added. its great to see new stuff being added all the time and makes planning out a strategy more challenging to beat level 11. keep up the good work
I've come back after a while to say that I've reinstalled this game again. I love how far Starrows has come over the years, and how much of a lovable Indie Game it truly is. I never really expected to come back to it with the same feeling of joy I had years ago. But looking back to that, I realized how easy this game is for me now. I hope Starrows gets more support and updates. Heck! I hope it also gets mods from the community! A solid 5★, as it will always be.
amazing game. enough detail that you can be a number cruncher, but simple and intuitive enough that you can pick it up and kill some time. i was surprised in every way by this. definitely try it!
This game is really fun and you should check it out but I have some changes, balance is one thing as the arablast can cheese every map if you know what your doing and some heroes need buffs like the frost archer as he doesn't have much, another thing is the hero ai does nothing right now and should be much more active. Other than that this game is really good for a free mobile game made for a event, I doubt more updates will happen but even then I unlock the special hero on every map as its fun
Very good game (free, no ads) ! I do have a bug though : on Volcano 8 difficulty level 10, my king only has 25 HP. It also seems I can't get gold from killing enemies. Thank you for this great game anyway !
It's a 6 year old game that's apparently still being updated. Instant 4 stars. It's also a nice time waster, and I like the unique mechanics and base building, so +1. 😀
i finish the game in difficulty 10 on all the map but the difficulty 11 is so challenging. in diff 11 i keep sacrificing my support so that i can get her soul but pls make all the character can get the soul so they can improve their abilities..
A fully leveled Phantom can still continue to move and teleport during the victory screen. Please don't change this, it's very cool.
I played this game on my LG G4 for years without any issues. But now with a newer phone Galaxy A70, it is unplayable with down to 7FPS after progressing in game. Other than that, this is a great game.
ugh! i really hate the Dark Mesmer! it keeps destroying my structures! but anywany, I love your game and I've been playing this for so long and the graphics is cool. Keep up the good work!
fun as hell! shame nobody plays it anymore. also a lack of a harder but fair difficulty. I wish it was still continued. or at least I wish there was someone to play with
This game is on my phone. I don't play it often. Maybe like, twice ever... But it's been on my phone for a long time. I love the idea of this game. I enjoy the gameplay, I enjoy the art style, heck, I wish I had people to play this game with. I just finished season four of Bojack and I'm down. This game is great. The dev is great. I wish I liked this game style more. Then I'd play it more. Great game, awesome job.
This game would be perfect if it had some game to game progression, permanent unlocks, something to kind of you around with a bit more. Awesome game!!!

Played this game before and reinstalled it. Still great but there is a bug where all ai stops working after buying merchant building.

The game is phenomenal. Been playing for several years. I wish there was a forum or way to connect to other players as well as communicate directly with the developer.
I love this game it's fun because my net is not good these days and I love to play moba games and this one is offline and i get to play many heroes my favourite hero is the valkryae she is just awesome for me and 2nd one is the replicant hero on the old version I really loved the invisible hero but in new update he is no longer invisible so i dont play him anymore
Amazing game, unfortunately it starts to stutter and lag extremely on my new phone. Ran fine in the old potato huawei y6. Fixed! Awesome work :)
Legit fun, no ads or garbage to buy. game play is like a simplified smite or league style one lane moba. Play it. Get hooked. Haves fun.
By far the best action rpgish rts game on android . Gameplay is solid , Controls are great , and the servers are up again.
It's a great time waster with good pacing and relatively simple mechanics that doesn't require much brain power to understand. I have beaten all level 11 on all maps with the Arbalest but only on one condition: the enemy hero does not leave the base. I think the AI should earn money, like the players, but they earn a little extra for difficulty imo. The AI puts out the merchant before I could and it can get quite overwhelming. Also the characters need tweaking. Nevertheless, it is a good game!
