Payments have been broken for 4 months now, its ridiculous that there has been no progress on this still. Talking to support shows that they are well aware of the issue but no one's resolving it. Overall disappointed with the state of the app, bad performance, laggy / unresponsive user interface, items in lists seem to repeat, and now payments don't work.
The subtotal is 3 euros higher than the sum of the products! I calculated the sum and it was 14.97 but the subtotal in the app says 17.94! On top of that there is the service fee (0.91). This is the second time when I don't understand the charged amount. This is definitely illegal.
Their order was late. When it arrived I did not see it. They claim there was notifications but I cannot see any in the app. There was a phone call and tried calling back but no answer. They say that 12 minutes passed and they are not giving any refund but take whole order for themselves and take all the money. Legal robbery.
As a student, I want to be lazy sometimes and order something for delivery. A bonus for being able to pay with alternative options. Usually delivery time isn't a big deal. Starship deliveries are slow, the estimated time is nowhere near reality. Even worse is quality and failures to deliver. I've order probably 20 or so times through starship. About a third of those I've needed to contact support. The bots are also really buggy, 2 orders in a row the bots just turned off and were canceled.
I only had a problem once when I ordered, the robot was completely empty, told it was technical difficulties. Just annoyed that the prices are higher than in store, which I don't understand why, when you're charged service fee and delivery, and just ordered today and noticed that there's also a tax charge now, never noticed that before. Also you don't get the special offers or clubcard points. You should be able to link clubcard with the app,instead of investing time changing the icon.
App is slow 🐌 I really like using the robots fir delivery but the App is slow and spend too much time buffing doesn't matter if you are using WiFi or 4G App always says its having connection issues been like it for a long time now seems like the developers aren't bothered with updating it
I ordered a starship order and one of the item was missing.I contacted the store and till now it hasnt been resolved.i will not be placing an order again as i dont want to loose money.
Service is great but where you lost me is the customer support. App gave me a code for $3 off today only. I go to use it, it reads invalid, so I contact customer support. It takes 15 minutes, two people, and a bunch of absurdly long pauses just so I can be told "Actually the code is all used up!" even though I hadn't used it before and it discloses NOWHERE that there is a maximum number of people that can use the code. Garbage customer service.
Delivery works alright so far, but app spams me with marketing notifications, that cannot be disabled easily via Android's notification channel system, requires going to the app.
STARSHIP IS THE BEST,IT GOT HERE RIGHT IN TIME.Will definitely use again. Had to laugh a bit when Robot got to the corner of the street he could not come up the pavement almost tipped over ,but 2 Gentlemen help him up and he was back on the road straight to my door step.
This was soooo cool. It was secure. I didnt have to worry about my food being snatched. Love this. My coworker already downloaded the app and is already ordering. Can't wait to use again.
When I get text notifications that say "Open the app to see changes made to your order" after I order, I can't click on anything that lets me see the changes. If this problem was fixed I would give is app four stars.
It's useful for delivery and has a relatively cheap delivery fee, but the debit/credit card option hasn't worked for around a year and it's not a problem with my bank. I contacted Starship about it but never got any real help.

Very easy to use. Kept me informed of progress. Arrived on time. Sang to me when I opened it. Would definitely use again. The shop did not have everything I wanted, but that wasn't Starship's fault!
So far so good but annoyed that I cant easily change areas without uninstalling and reinstalling again! I live in one delivery zone and work in a different one. Help!!
The starship system works well from the point of view of placing the order and getting food delivered. What is not so good as that the merchant i use for shopping does not have accurate stock levels and therefore some items i order do not get delivered so I have to go to another store which I would rather not do in the current covid situation.
smooth service, app needs some minor polish. Robot voices are a bit too muted to hear on a windy day.
Having to take a selfie with a robot with a whole family watching (they'd followed the robot from the shop) was a surreal way of getting some veg for the Sunday dinner. I want a robot to live in my house, they're so cute! And he got here fast and didn't forget anything. Would deffo recommend these little dudes.
My order was canceled after waiting over 40 minutes, and I had to open a chat twice because the first one was closed with no response. I was told it was canceled because the merchant was closed even tho I ordered well before closing. I was simply told to reorder from someone who is open. Seriously?
should be improving database functionality rather than putting time into app icons and music playing robots. Prices higher than in store. Multibuys written on packets aren't applied. No visibility of ingredients or nutritional value such as sugars and fat content etc. Staff don't read substitution info.Bags packed carelessly so items get crushed, or not packed at all , just a bag left on top! When order massively delayed, there is no option to cancel order. Stores never available to order from.
App only shows the loading screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but nothing changed. All my other apps work fine.
some fun chasing the robot down the road after it stopped outside our house and then decided not to wait!. After getting shopping it fell off the pavement and was stuck. Had to lift it back onto the pavement and received a 'thankyou" as it then went on its way
Got a bit tricky when it arrived to verify my age (ordered beer), but it opened up on the end.
options are a bit limited, but robot is so cute !
The delivery is good but I have a big problem with this app. The problem is that there's no option to cancel an order if certain items are out of stock. It really annoys me when I place an order only for half the items on it to be out of stock, and having no way to cancel the order. What's the point in ordering a delivery for 1 bottle of Pepsi Max and a chocolate bar? Half the cost was the delivery fee!
