App requires ROOTed phone in order to enable most of the advanced features like bandwidth limits per user, SSID configuration, DNS changes etc. If your phone is not rooted, app will only enable basic tethering, and will not be able to redirect users to login page, control bandwidth etc.
This app was developed by people that built leading PC based HotSpot software, 10 years ago. App development took two (2) years and it's currently the only Android app that can redirect users and control bandwidth.

i want to like this because i want just a simple splash page... but there's no log or even a way to debug what's going wrong, why it doesn't start! ux is quite ugly and offers customizing like it was 1996, instead of using simple yml files or something. it's too bloated with (to me) useless features, such as facebook links! wished for a very simple hotspot with a splash page i can build in html and nothing more!! 5 stars waiting for a solution. 😁
Outstanding app, it works without any bugs in 4.4.4 device. I'm using old device as router with these app features it's Internet is managed properly now. It is indeed an excellent app. Thanks for developers.
i rooted my phone, but when i try opening the app it is giving me an error saying (server unavailable file:///android_asset/www/index.html) , so does anyone know how to put the file index. html?
Broken, says starting forever, never does. My phone is rooted.
Just directs you to your phone's Carrier paid version of hot spot. Not even close to what I need.

Useless app. And there is no option to restore things. Now I am not able to connect my laptop or other phone as its only shows login page and then shows some error. There should have been an option to restore default.

Did not let configure SSID or PWD nor give address of login pahe for client. Useless on MPCS with root.
Well it seems meet all my requirements, theoretically. However, I could not succeed to work on my Samsung Note II. Tethering works but connected devices are not listed rules that I created is not applied for no reason. My device is rooted. But no luck!
I am aware the pop up was on my end but this app is a root required app meaning it should be able to bypass such blocks being as there are plenty non root apps of the same quality the low rating was for you attention and the fact i can use it so very hard to test ability based on that ... Tell ya what it did check for root and verified it had root so I'll give ya 4 stars as a root checker but as a rooted wifi tether ... Can't comment

I have used this app several times. The free version works fairly well, as is. I would not recommend using the cloud services because they do not seem to work at all. I thought this was due to the fact I was using a unlicensed version of the app. So I went ahead and purchased the license. I would like to say that the process of getting the license was not easy. It would have been better to have it as a in app purchase. Once I got the license key via email, I attempted to register the app. This process also was not straight forward. In the end it never worked. I have since moved on to a different app that provides the same figures and is way easier to us.
After uninstalling my friend's cannot access data through my hotspot. I have seen some files are written into my system while installing.
Bandwith limiting is not working.. I set the download speed to 10 k per second but still its using internet at full speed
Bandwidth not work i do speedtest on my notebook that a user wifi get full speed 4Mbps even i set app limited 512kb with rooted tablet .

Liking the potential this app has. Unfortunately doesn't work on my OnePlus 7 Pro (android 9), despite this app being recently updated. It can't start the hotspot, and when I start it manually, it then "starts" but the captive portal page doesn't load on any devices. If there is any way to submit a bug report, I would be happy to. I'm rooted with Magisk. Just for added info,have tethering with my carrier, unlimited capacity, and it works normally, so not that. If u can help fix, ill give 5 stars
