Zero Star Rating. Highly irritating. Since last 2-3 days, Quick Banking is not working on my 3 different devices and gives same error message. Already emailed screenshots but Support is funnily advising to do certain very high tech DOS/Terminal based peocedure instead of doing its duty of rectifying the app and announcing an update download. Also, Search Branch and Search ATM are giving same error. As if these nuisances aren't enough, StarToken is unnecessarily sandwiched in Internet banking.
First time download and it says your account is suspended! Desktop app is even worse. It asks for pin and when transaction password is entered says user device status check failed. No corrective action offered and unable to use. Not at all user friendly.
I was using this application for quite some time and was happy about it. I had installed it on both ,Mobile and Laptop and could access my bank accounts from both the devices.. Suddenly before 15days the quick access on Laptop stopped working. i tried a lot and uninstalled the Star Token -Ng to reinstall it again assuming that it could solve my problems. I tried to download Bank Of India Star token NG from play stores and from Bank Of India Web Site but it was not possible. kindly guide me in this respect.
It was good earlier. Since last two-three days it has started giving trouble. Its not allowing to login even with correct OTP and correct PIN. The develooers are supposed to improve the performance and not to degrade the performance. Its becoming the troublesome app now a days.
It requires to register with OTP on same device again and again. Once the OTP is sent from server, you can't request to send it again. If you haven't received OTP on your phone, you're stuck till they resend it again, which may happen on next or next to next day. Worst experience with any banking app so far.
Completely useless app. You can't even login. I can do internet banking on my PC, but when I use the same on this app, it says that the user id doesn't exist. I've sent emails but to no avail. It's been 7 months and still can't log into this app
Old version work properly for Android but new version not working properly. It hangs mostly time. Verification for new device is done every time which is very irritating.
Need immediate update and add-on features: 1. UPI payment option from index page 2. Minimum Rs. 25000 fund transfer option without adding beneficiary 3. Password reset option by OTP to registered mobile no. And email id 4. Money transfer option through imps from index page 5. there is no need to login twice for the same purpose, one in APP and other in star connect. 6. All options should be on index page only 7. While fund transfer, authentication by OTP to registered mobile no. Is enough.
App does not have a landscape view. Screen changes everytime a PW character is entered. If a PW has 15 characters, the screen has to be swiped 15 times to view the virtual key board. Very irritating.
Worst app! And I guess bank too..still the clearing status of cheque deposited in Bank is not showing .almost 10 days..how to manage payments ,only we are getting from bank software is getting updated.. This has been done without prior notice and any information to customer.
It was a good app i don't no now wt happened to it ? Last few days i am unable to login to my acconts thru this app which has caused me lot of inconvenience.. last few years i am using this app i never had a single peoblem it was working perfectly.. i cant understand suddenly wt happend to it?? Worst thing is Boi customer care too wr unable to give me the solution for it. I needed to visit my branch however branch ppl too were not able to help me out to start it.. wt kind of a difficulty it is?
Earlier it was working perfectly but in this updated version when trying to login every time the warning page appears,the skip button not working to skip the warning.The warning is like ransomeware,not skipped.Hence unable to login.pl resolve this problem.
Most worst application have i never seen . Change my mobile. All verification done .Even then not working.every time I login n connect to quick banking., Web page not available error comes. I wish to give minus rating.
Please help me very soon. I can't open this apps. Because when I go to open it, it gives message "unable to connect to the server. Please check network setting." I have already reset my mobile and chang my e-mail Id , but can't open it. It again and again shows this message that above written. So please help me how can open it
App shoule be user friendly and easy to use. Whereas this app, if u have logged-in into another device especially if its urgent .. says can't log-in. Even netbanking also linked into this startoken.. security is good ..bt don't make it so complicated that even the authentic user can't use it. Try to make atleast netbanking simple. Hope it will be read and somthing will be done. Because the last update i can see is in 2019, since then nothing has been updated.
Can't connect or open repeatedly, showing a message " Unable to contact Server. Check your connection ". But connection is normal, as other apps or network functions working normally. Issue arised for last 30-45 days.
Worst banking app ever, totally opposes simplicity of mobile banking. Takes hours for making 2 transactions. On top of that once you register for this app you can not use online banking without it. Thinking of switching to a bank with more user friendly services.
App is pretty much useless on android as on mobile "star connect" opens miniscule window, on android tab app does not scale properly and stuck in potrait orientation. Installing on MacOS is a pain, no option for Linux platform, so only option is to use it on Windows (Good luck getting correct fonts!!)
Dear Developers Your this android star token app has become very useless. It keeps asking for this OTP again and again. This was not the case before to register it. Now it's causing too much trouble. Works fine on IS. Having problems on Android. Keeps asking for OTP again and again.
Corporate signin for BOI is not happening since a upgrade. Only savings and current account sign ins are possible. Signin for my corporate Cash Credit /CC is not happening. All this has happened apparently after an update to the app last week. Needs fixing this problem immediately.
Very worst app ever I seen, Not working properly, every time need authentication as an new device. After many reauthentication it will work. No full screen mode for laptops. If your eye sight is little beat weaker you can't use.
Worst and very irritating app. Every time login problem. No other choice but to close account in BOI. Fell helpless when it needed for banking services and can't access to my account. Very frustrating. Worst banking app just as worst government bank. It should be privatized.
One of the worst banking app, I didn't seen like this complicated application for banking. For login also not happen sms not received in registered number. This is app not user friendly. Every time take too much time & verification.
With this App it feels that you have not open a saving account with BOI , it's like a depression account. You will get irritated and frustrated but your work will never be done. In this internet world the BOI seems to be comfortable with paper banking only. Some one has to look and work on it to make it user friendly.
I am not able to use StarToken-NG on my phone from few days I don't know why but its giving me an error " too many failed additional authentication attempts" I called up the customer care and reported this. They said that it will take 24 hrs to re-authecate. Now it's been like 48 hrs and still the issue has not been resolved.
It's good, sometimes login problem but otherwise works good. One thing shld be done that after entering pin it's goes to login page like desktop password login, in rest banking app you just login with pin no password needed. In other banking app it's detects SIM and work with OTP. To make star token user friendly login shld be with pin only and no password shld be needed.
Very poor app... its not opening on my mobile data but when using wifi its working. Checked all my settings still could not fix it. Sent an email for help but no response. Need to change the bank now. Tired of this stupidity of bank of india. No proper services
Absolutely pathetic app. 90% of times it doesn't let you access your account. A thousand bugs. Going to close my BOI account just because of this app.
Login to app is successfull but cannot access 'Quick Banking' option. Rather it shows 'web page not found' error with the message that, web page... could not be loaded because: "net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" The above error is coming from around a month. The BOI is requested to look into the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest please.
