Kind of disappointed, I wished it was like ribblr and pinterest which you could simply browse without searching a term up. But it's alright I suppose, kind of laggy (lg Stylo 6) but likely due to internet connection. Format is kind of clunky, not really aesthetically pleasing to the eye
I really wished this app worked for me! I paid for no ads because I was initially super excited when I found out about the app, but ever since I took off the ads the app crashes immediately once I login. I can't get it to stop crashing. I have found no solution to this issue either.
Bricked after paying for full version. I like the app so I paid the 9.99 for the full version. Now the app closes instantly every time I open it. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting my phone to no avail. Please help.
I love this app. Wish it worked on my S8 tablet or my Galaxy S22 phone. Tries to load then crashes and my phone puts it to sleep for high battery usage. I'll keep trying to see if it gets fixed. Great app if you have an older device!
All good, back to working as before. Invaluable to manage your knitting projects away from the desktop.
BEST Ravelry App, and Very Responsive! All the best & most useful Ravelry features in one app. Periodically comparing just in case; never yet tempted to try a different one. Reported a crash-causing bug; was responded to and bug fixed in half an hour flat! Pro tip: Include system info & error message if possible when reporting bug/reviewing.
It's nice to have a place to browse on my phone and fine patterns. But about every 10 to 20 minutes, I get a notification from the app, basically reminding me that it exists. Very annoying. The app is also veryyyy slow when scrolling, it lags badly. Navigation was confusing at first, but I now I got it. Menu also lags. When adding patterns as favorites, it saves it twice instead of offering an option to remove from favorites. So now I'm stuck with patterns I've done or don't want.
This app could be so great, but there are so many glitches in the navigation that it severely hampers its usability. Between profile settings and login, to search navigation and selecting items. I've gotten several errors failing to recognize my profile just in setting up the app. This needs some serious updates, among them being not to have it look like something out of the '90s. If this was much smoother and didn't have a million bugs, I'd buy a premium but as it is now? No way.
Overall good app. I use it for easy access to my Ravelry account.
This app could be great but is very very primitive and needs a LOT of further work put into it. A lot of the code actually shows up and nothing loads at all. No pictures, no search results anywhere, not even any links on patterns, just some information. Many pattern features are not even accessible like other people's projects. I'm going to have to give this just 1 star and uninstall as it is simply not doing the things it was designed for. Hopefully it'll be better in the future, until then.
I like this app the most, but it still has a lot of room for improvement. The search function needs improving quite a bit. My saved searches don't work, and the filters aren't all available like on the website. I'm better off adding the patterns I want on the Ravelry website and then organizing them with the app. I'd be happy to give five stars once this is fixed.
The app is not very user friendly. It takes about 15 seconds after I make a selection before it does anything. It constantly harasses me to buy the upgraded version. When adding my stash items it would freeze after adding one. I had to fully close the app & reopen before I could add another item. When adding pics you can only add one at a time, and it auto rotates them sideways. When editing pics you have to crop then rotate them or it undoes your edits. I'll stick to the website.
This app is garbage, at least when you try and enter your stash on your Android. It would only save when it felt like it, and a few times saved but then erased info! Not user friendly as the screen flips back and forth when you try and save, and the choose Ravelry yarn feature is hit and miss as to whether it will save that info, either. After spending an hour trying to enter some yarn and only getting through 4, I gave up and deleted the app.
I just get a screen with the menu at the top and the rest is blank and I can't click on anything. Edit: when I clicked on the inbox it finally logged me in, but nothing else was working before that. Also it suddenly minimizes from time to time when I'm editing my stash. Otherwise very useful app that could be a little more user-friendly though.
I found the older app easier to use and navigate. Am still looking for how you add completed projects. The old app looked and functioned much like the desk top version which made it easier for me to use. Entering both projects and stash yarn can be glitchy. I often find that I have to click the check box and save after entering each line.
This is such a strange app. A friend contacted me on the app, but outside of our first few messages, she isn't receiving my return messages. And each message listing is piled on top of the previous one. Looking for patterns, etc is also much easier on the Raverly website. The app is not enjoyable to use nor easy to use.
As mentioned by others, this app also keeps crashing on my Samsung S22. I have the paid upgrade version of stash to go. Hope it can be fixed.
Impossible to use! -Constantly asking me to purchase paid version. -Projects feature is slow, clumsy and unreliable. My photos won't upload and changes to projects don't update. -Menus are hard to navigate. -Toxic community! I just want to connect with other makers... regardless of their views. Very disappointing experience!
Paid for ad free but cannot open app. I open it, says login then closes. So I spent money for nothing.
Have used this app for about a year and I love how it syncs with Ravelry and it's got great row counters. Had an issue today with the app freezing on login, but managed to fix it by hitting the inbox icon on the top of the screen. Hope this helps anyone else experiencing this problem.
Just installed this on my phone and it keeps crashing as soon I open it. Can't even use it.
It's great for looking at my projects so I can show people what I'm working on/have finished, and upload pictures directly from my phone. Unfortunately the stitch counter is laggy and useless to the point I had to find a dedicated app for it and can't use this one.
When this app works it's great. Being able to add & edit Ravelry projects is very helpful. I'm having trouble with the pattern links - often when I click on the link, instead of opening in Chrome, it shows me the URL with no way to copy it.
It's ok. I like the idea of being able to look up my projects or library, for example. A big annoyance to me is when i scroll through my library in the app. It will randomly jump around, and I'm suddenly 3 rows down or something.
It's so hard to use on my android galaxy phone. It's very glitchy, especially with trying to scroll through search results. I only use this app when I have a lot of patience or I'm really bored because it's so hard to get it to work well or without crashing unexpectedly.
