Overall great app, I have invested some cash and the process was very smooth. It takes a bit to get familiar with the way the app is designed but nothing problematic. It is great you can have access to ETF and let the system help you
It's really cool to be able to manage my own portfolio considering my own risk appetite with just one click away. The app was easy to use, simple and calming color tone. Could tell that the developing team gave a lot of thoughts on it . Keep up the good work and make more more for me. Thank you!
The portfolio "reoptimisations" are a series of bad decisions and bad timing - closing off positions at losses. In one year alone the portfolio has been meddled with at least 3 times. If you're looking for a way to steadily invest into a stable portfolio with a long investment horizon, look elsewhere. StashAway has failed to offer that. It is disappointing.
What a joke. Decided to test before fully committing. Threw 400 into 2 portfolio. Then did a full withdrawal request for both. Somehow 400 turned into 4 dollars after 3 working days. Went to check and the remaining sum somehow got pulled aside as a lump sum cuz I closed my portfolio but for some reason wasn't withdrawn as per my request. Damn confused because I remember keying 200 twice for two portfolio. How the F did it become 2 for each withdrawal?
Terrible experience with this app. It is simply investing in US etfs with lots of manual intervention, in the fancy name of "robo investing". The team made a series of poor decisions, in the name of "portfolio optimisation". I am permanently out of this app.
Losing money only. What's the point of having robo advisor if keep losing money for months? From my understanding, robo advisor should be program to maximise profits and minimise losses. But I have been losing money since the first day of investing. That's it, I'm done with you guys. User interface is nice, user friendly. Profit is not user friendly.
I still don't understand much about investing but this apps help me with doing exactly what you need to do in order to not lose money. It only been a month but i feel like i can actually profits from following the tips given in the apps. But the transfer really take a while which is kinda suspicious but it only been a month so i just continue using it and will change my review later depending on how good this app is
Super bad experience with this. don't understand on reoptamization strategy. The timing always happen after the fall. Constantly save money and see account turn more red more than 7% losses
Easy to use interface but the time take for deposits and withdrawals take too long. Usually 2-3 days and by then prices shift very quickly. This can end up with a loss due to slow transaction process.
So far so good. Love the intuitive app experience. Rather hassle free way to deposit funds. Very beginner friendly.
Almost a year into this. Lost more than 10% of my initial deposit. I am out of it. Better put the money on fixed deposit. At least i still get some interest.
Easy to use and well explanation for investment & portfolio's performance. 1 Star off due to lack of porfolio breakdown's graphic/info.
It's better to put your money in bank than to invest using this app. I have been using this for more than 2 years and i never see any profits, it just downwards trend (loosing money)
Been using is for 2 years+ now. After a few optimisation, it has been just downhill since. Maybe is a long term thing but i hvnt really seen any gains in the past 2 years. Worst is constantly losing more money by the days.
Would I recommend Stashaway? Probably not. With multiple arbitrary fund reallocations in the past year (in non-growth sectors), it's hard to have faith in their standard response of "please hold it for the long term" when the fund changes its portfolio every few months. I've been investing in Stashaway since 2019 and all I have to show for it is a 10% loss. Edit: While their standard response is "email us so we can look into it," their only follow-up is to tell you that volatility is expected
I'm almost -10% at the moment. Every re-optimsation, it gets worse. What about "not timing the market", dollar cost averaging?
Apps has become slow and unresponsive after updates. Takes toooo long to load a page.
This is an app I do not trust to put my money. Crypto is more informative and concrete than the way your team re-optimises our portfolio. Portfolios continue to diminish even when US etfs are improving. All in the name of re-optimisation and long term. What is long term when you keep meddling with the portfolio? Especially with the KWEB shares. Your team claims to have a long term mindset of 3 years or more and has been using our money to buy into that investment only to pull out of it short.
What's the benefit if we raise bugs for your app? This is the second or third time I found "Simple" bugs at your app. Get your Developer to check the app pls, test the login page "Password" field pls
Don't do in-app update if you can't do it better than google. Forces user to setup device lock screen. Unintelligible action.
Worst app to put your hard-earned money. Their rebalance strategy is so poor that you are better off investing by yourself. I experienced 2 portfolio rebalance, 1st they rebalance into China based stocks. Immediately after rebalancing, China announces cooling measures on many industries. 2nd time, I specifically chose Thematic portfolios to invest in Technology, and they rebalanced to buy gold instead. Each rebalance ends up with losses of double digit percentage. Absolutely rubbish app.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the app is not making any money. I have different risk portfolios and they all behave the same, I tried to play the long game but in almost 2 years I have no gains whatsoever. Now they also removed feature to choose the time frame you look at for performance (shows only since 1st deposit), so it's almost impossible to make a good read of the past months (which behaved poorly). Not worth it
Withdrawal took 4-5day to reach account. if is sat sun, then withdraw will take 2 more days. This is same for deposit and buying. It is around 2-3 day slower than versa. The performance is really bad. Their strategy very emotional. For what I experienced, it always buy high sell low. I will keep invest amount low for stashaway
I've been using stashaway for a while 1+ years and I never seem to gain from the investments. I guess it's a long term thing and I regularly transfer every month, but seeing the account losing money definitely does not incentivize me to invest more. I guess it's my fault I lose money. 2 stars because the app is nice, no complaints for the UI.
Great experience, finally started investing with Stashaway. Currently in red but I totally understand short term volatility. Looking forward hehe
I have given this app more than a full year to work it's algorithm, my portfolio has been on a downward trend month after month and now it has lost 5.75% of my total sum that has been 'stashed away'. I am better off stashing all my money with a bank. Edit: In the span of 2-3 days while pending for full withdrawal, my loss went up to 6.03%. A 1 out of 5 stars rating is still too highly rated for this app. I would give it a negative score out of 5.
