Once input is finished, it's nice to have a list handy. But make sure you enter in numerical order as this app is little more than a pretty face for a spreadsheet.
so far I really like this app, it has allowed me to organize my thread stash and where I have it located. plus, I am not doubling up on thread colors I already have. I do wish that I could attach pictures of the projects, that would be a nice addition.
Terrible system. Wants me to manually enter company name and color numbers for each skein of thread I have. There's got to be a better way (checkboxes anyone?). Might be nice once I have everything in, but I have 1000 skeins of floss to enter. That would take forever.
Love the idea of this app - if it would re-sort the floss by numbers it would be perfect. I added in some floss from a kitted project, then added my stored floss and the numbers are not in numerical order - frustrating when at the store to see if I have a floss or not.
It could be better. Find that that there isn't a place for a finished project date. Also when a project is marked as finished the start date goes away.
App is good, but constantly crashes on export pattern. I can export stash but I would prefer pattern by pattern
I am enjoying this app. But I am unable to enter a completed date. Need help with that. Have searched. Found start date, not finish date. Please help.
I love your app. It’s does everything I need to keep up with. Except I wished you already had floss list in it. Also I wish The app could be downloaded on my IPad.
It can be a bit clumsy. The threads don't seam to sort numerically which is a pain. But on the whole, this app is the best so far.
this was unusable. there was no way to add threads as there was no list. totally a waste. don't bother with this. a piece of paper is more of a help than this
I am looking for an app to help me maintain my thread inventory. Unfortunately this app will not allow me to sort the threads by number so it is not particularly helpful.
A great resource for cross stitch hobbyists.
Has a lot of features but a learning curve. I spent an hour on the tutorial page clicking around before I just downloaded the DMC master list, imported, and then went thru my thread to create my stash list. Would have been a lot easier if the app had at least the DMC master list preloaded and explained that in app. Not the most intuitive but between this and the other decent stitch app this has more options and functions. If you are new to the app just download the DMC master list and use it to populate ur stash and save urself the headache of typing up a correctly formatted long list of thread.
I agree with the master list of thread comments. With good working knowledge of computers and programs it took me about 30 minutes to create a full DMC list and upload the master list WITHOUT having to type it all in but I dont think the developers realize most will not have that level of knowledge to perform this task as I have... with that said developers should repair the bugs and upload the master lists for a 5.0 rating
Edit: Importing from my email rather than from a cloud service fixed the crashing problem. Back to loving the app.
Just downloaded this. It looks promising however I can't seem to import a master list (much less find one) and the website won't show up on my phone
I had the app long time ago. I thought it was ok at first. Now since I have it back I understand it better. I have a suggestion by putting some spots in it for your Hoops, Needles, Etc. I also wish you can put the numbers in order.
I wish there were a sort feature to put in numerical order. Otherwise it's a great app.
So far, so good. I had to go back to the tutorials a few times (which is fine - that's what they're for!) but I think I've got the hang of it now. As others have mentioned, a search feature would be good, as would an image(s) option. Also, there's a notes field under fabric, but I would also like to see one under patterns.
After spending hours of inputting my stash, it deleted everything
Just got it today, and so far, I like it. I REALLY, REALLY like that I can add and remove things in item lists, as other apps I have tried made me use only their preinstalled lists, which may or may not have been kept up-to-date. Here's where I see one improvement: make the item lists collapsible by manufacturer and by type within that. I own multiple lines of threads, which means it's a really long list for me to scroll through. A search feature for the item lists would be nice, too.
When I first downloaded this app I wasn't thrilled with it... I really did NOT want to enter all of my floss in on my phone. Then I discovered the tutorial and the website and importing my stash! Next up, exporting and seeing if that import won't increase my stash count by 1 with each upload. That's the only flaw I've seen so far with the Import, but I haven't tried to Export and then Import that file. If you don't like this app, go read the tutorial and it will change your mind.
It's not exactly intuitive, is it? I am extremely frustrated because I can't figure out most of it and it seems that I need to take a course on how to use the thing. I'm old, I have a farm to run, and I don't have the time or the patience to spend hours I could be stitching or taking care of my horses trying to figure out how this thing works! I'll probably be deleting it.
Have not been able to say if a pattern is in progress - would like a section for kits (separate from patterns, fabric & floss)
I like this app, keeps me organized. Just one little thing, I would like to be able to put the threads in the stash in alphabetical or numerical order, it would make finding threads a lot easier.
I love this app! I have tried others, including paid ones and keep coming back to this one! I would love to be able to add pictures of my works and an end date but so far that's the only thing lacking! Great job!
It is a little clunky. I used another thread tracker when I had an iPhone and only recently decided to move the inventory list to my Samsung. This app is probably a good thread tracker but creating the list is a little more clunky than I would like. If you don't mind manual entry then this is the app for you, because there are features that I do like such as the ability to show a project as kitted.
