Stay Awake - Keep Screen On

Worked great for a long time. Stopped working following an April update. UPDATE: After 5/2 update this seems to work again, I just have to check the box to keep the notification on all the time. If I don't check that box it will deactivate when I unplug but won't activate when I plug in. With notification box checked it works as desired. Updated rating to 4 stars. 5 star if I didn't need to keep another notification!

Version 3.5 still doesn't work on Android 11 UI 3.1, whereby version 1.1 does. Having to have a permanent notification rather than only when Activated is not really a fix. Downloaded the old APK and its still works, so I'm sticking with that

It works great so far I had originally set my screen timeout to 30 minutes and it always shut off in 5-8 seconds and when I downloaded this app it stopped now my screen stays on for as long as I want it too thanks for this great app

Latest update removed stay awake while charging option. That was my favorite feature. Please bring it back or I will have to find a new app.

I used insomnia until it stopped working after an update. I was glad to find this app and immediately bought the pro. The app does work but it's very glitchy. - Enable awake from notification bar (pro feature) isn't there most the time. I have to find the app and activate it that way. What a downer! - please add an icon in the drop down settings. (like insomnia) There's no need to take up another space in my notifications bar.

Wow, this app has an ugly interface, from the yellow bits to the activation button being designed to look like real-life materials. (Is that an iOS influence?) But it works, it's simple to use, and fortunately with the pro version you can just control it through the persistent notification, so you never have to actually look at the app.

Used to be a great little app then, about a week ago, it just stopped working. Screen closes after timeout as normal now. It also deactivates itself even with the app open. Assuming this has all come off the back of an update but surely there would have been a testing phase before rolling it out? Anyway now looking for an app that works and will be uninstalling this one.

i tried two other apps before this one. my Blu phone would turn off or go dark so frequently, even while I was using it. Enter Stay Awake. it's simple to install and use, and the ads are perfectly fine with me. i am so pleased that I can control the phone now, and really like this app.

I have a question. Do you have to activate it every time you use the phone? The first time the Tech told me about this of course I was on the phone as I uploaded and activated and my phone screen stayed lit up for the duration of my call. But the following day it was back to going dark, so is this something I have to do per call? A need to know before I can give stars. Well I had to give one so I could post.

Cool App! I downloaded it in order to stop my screen from closing every time I set it down. It works for a short period of time, but just be prepared that sometimes it just shuts down by itself. I dont like the ugly black and green graphics but you know what- it works and that's what matters 😝.

The app was working perfectly fine until two days ago, now every 10 minutes or so it goes deactivated itself, I can't look at my phone all the time that's why I'm using this to keep it on all the time and now I had to download another unit it get fixed. Pls fix this and I change my review, really liked this app. Thanks in advance.

With the newest update one has to enable a option before being able to use the stay awake function. That's a change for the worse. 2 Klicks to activate it and than another 2 to stop it. I hope this is an error gone live. Otherwise I look for another app who does the same on an easy way.

Does not allow for specific apps to keep the screen on, and without the pull-down switch (premium option) takes 2 clicks to turn on or off. So you might as well go settings / screen timeout yourself.

Really useful! It would be even better if there would be a widget included. Enable/disable from notification option (full version) is not very useful on Nokia 8 , Android pie.

It works for me. My Android phone and the apps all stay operational as I want and need them.... I've tried countless other similar apps. Some work fine up until there is an Android update. Let's hope this one lasts beyond the next update. So far, so good.

Could not get my J7 brightness to stay put, until Stay Awake appeared on my Play Store search options & I installed it. All those other apps I tried..Garbage.When I installed Stay Awake my J7 dark grey. Could hardly see anything. Went to my settings and did the increase brightness slider and my problem was solved. Now I have a constant bright screen I can read for once. Thanks for the app. It was a God's send. Never do donations, but am this time!

Had a problem getting the pro version recognized on my second phone. Contacted developer and he was very responsive. Turns out something was cached that eventually cleared and the second phone is working great.

Overwrites other apps' ability to keep the screen on. So be prepared to have this running while watching Netflix or your screen will turn off every 30 seconds.

Works during phone calls! That was all I needed, and I went through five different apps before finding this one.

This app really does what it says! It keeps the screen awake until you manually turn it off. Unlike other apps that claim to keep your phones screen on, this app keeps my Samsung gallaxy s9 awake.

Amazing, I love it. I can't change the shut off time in my phone (it turns off after only 15 seconds!) and this keeps it from doing that. It's great.

App is working, now I can keep big size files on download, and wouldn't worry about screen off after 30 minutes, cause download stops sometimes! Thank you!

Great app👍 It really works, and I was able to trick my friends into thinking that my andriod phone had a built in setting where I could enable my screen to stay alive all the time. And guess what? THEY BELIEVED ME 😲

What I was looking for. But, I bought the app to use in notifications to activate and deactivate without opening app. That function does NOT work. 5 stars if author will fix this paid option, as advertised.

Very useful at times when you want your screen to be on for most of time continuously during work or while viewing Google maps on the go.

great this app works on my samsung note 9 running android 10 tried a few that didn't work anyway all is well now oh and i paid the 99p to remove all ads which is optional.

I have tested a number of these applications in this is the only one that works properly on the latest Android version I expect I'll upgrade to Pro if I don't have any further issues and I will update my rating if needed
