Honestly, I didn't expect a whole lot, but I was still disappointed. The app is crazy buggy with button press delays and forwarding loops. I've tried the emergency cash option (as an example) and it just kicks me back to my account. You'll press one button for part time work and it opens your profile tab. I don't know if the devs broke it with the last update but this app is not helpful and is probably just used to scam poor people out of their info/cash.
The concept is great and the app very easy to open and navigate. But, the purpose of the app doesn't seem to work. It claims there are boosters to earn extra income through Steady. However, I have downloaded numerous apps and open accounts with other companies as stated to do. But, I have never received any type of income or payment from Steady as they said I would get. Don't understand the purpose of Steady.
Seems like a cool concept but so far I've had nothing but issues. From the 4 boosters I tried to sign up for, I received errors for 3, not allowing me to go past the sign up process. The one I did sign up for, I did not get credit for. I'll try the job/gigs portion in the next few weeks to see if that is at all useful. But for now this app is a disappointment.
I left a bad review bc after being with steady for a while bc they stopped paying for booster I had completed but they have finally corrected the errors and are paying my booster and I have did liked the app and had no problems til recently and I was just frustrated with the situation bc there was a lot of back and forth and I still wasn't getting anywhere but they did continue to work towards fixing the errors and now it's been fixed and I'm getting paid and I am impressed with their efforts
The whole advance process is very complicated/confusing. it's stuck on "in progress", and I'm not sure whether that means the refund is in the process of being sent or if it's verifying my account. It's very vague. The only way to contact support is via email, and I haven't heard anything back yet. This is extremely frustrating as I needed the funds for an emergency.
After never getting 75$ dollars for an app I completed. They took a ridiculously long time to get back to me. By the time they did I could no longer access the info they wanted. They claimed to have no record of my using them to access the promo. I had records showing I did exactly WHAT and when I should have. And Varo itself claimed it had no email record of my sign up.
interesting app that does a lot has a lot to offer as far as things you wouldn't have thought of possibly it's an app that thinks outside the box. I tend to be forgetful scattered thoughts so this definitely helps keep things in track once you get it set up it's just nice to have it there it's a quick reference and useful tools as far as insights to your finance and everyday expenditures.
I have been using steady for a little bit and I got two booster payments so far, but the app when I open it only shows a white screen and won't load, frustrating. I made have to forget this app and uninstall it. Edit: I uninstalled the app and finally loaded, we shall see how it continues to work for me, giving it one star right now might give it five stars if it cooperates with me.
I updated my score. Could not sign up at first but whatever the issue was it is no longer. Support was quick to reach out. Lots of options in regards to work but I would suggest to check reviews on those because some were not so good. Other offers to earn money but they just don't fall in my category of what I need right now.
Kind of a hookups app. Doesn't really benefit you any. Unless you're new to trying to get some extra cash, I guess. Doesn't really serve a purpose. Two stars because it continuously led me on to believe that it would help me. At least in the ads. I'd give five stars if it actually helped me like the ad said.
This app is 100% legit. They follow through on their end of things unlike other money making apps that waste you time compleating offers and playing games that you never are able to cash out on. The income boosters are a great way to make quick money and as long as you follow the directions steady gives you then you will be rewarded the amount listed. It only took 24 hours to recieve my money after compleating one of the income boosters.
I don't even know the apps potential because from the moment I downloaded and tried to open it, it goes to a blank screen and thats the end. I haven't seen what the app has to offer and thats sad. More frustrating than anything...
I had high expectations for this app based off the majority of the reviews I've read. I was excited to get started and knock down hours of my time getting as many boosters as possible. I decided to start with just one ($50§aspiration sign up) to see how the payment would play out.. Now a few months later I still haven't received the $50, and i checked at LEAST 20 times to make sure I did everything right.. Emailed support to no response..nothing. Very disappointing. Wish someone would help me.
This app is fake. It doesn't offer side gigs it forces you into a career choice. Only promotes big brands like UPS in Amazon. They don't even offer the best paying jobs in the area. In fact I just had to ask my body who owns one of the big paying jobs in the area. And he told me the deal that you guys offer is no different than a temp agency. This is entirely 100% false advertisement and misleading. If you want money don't use this app. They'll only make you work for Amazon.
At First the application seemed promising , I made $50 by opening up an account with aspiration Bank. However when I went to varo bank, for the $75 bonus, once I completed everything, steady just reflects "in progress. This is starting to happen with other applications. there is no customer service button. Seems others are having the same issue.
Pretty solid Edit: upgraded to 5 stars. I keep not only getting Boosts, but also discovering useful, cool apps and services in the bargain. Rarely have I been this pleased with an app, much less one i downloaded on a whim. If you're on the fence, I say go for it. Steady is worthwhile and useful, and I've as yet had no complaints of any kind.
Steady stands by its word, and if you do your part boosters pay very quickly. The help they lead you to is wonderful, thanx Steady I now have to edit my review, because it has gone way down hill, the app. Never works now, and for steady as soon as Gave them a great review, nothing has been good since. Signed up for boosters, Uber eats, door dash, Lilli, I do all of them and never received a penny, and b4 that tried multipul times to change my email because I can access the old 1, zero help no $
Did not work. I tried to use the work from home jobs on the app and applied for a few. Once my application was done the screen would go blank, and there was no job to complete. Waste of time.
I filled out 5 bonuses. Got 2, but the third one is where I actually changed banks and It is still in the, in progress mode. Edit, I was only reviewing one mishap, the other bonuses I received pretty fast. If this last one goes through I'll leave it at 5 stars
Started off great but now after several emails to fix a easy problem you just keep getting sent generic emails from a third party stating "a member of our team will contact you shortly" we'll it's been a week and they haven't. Even after funding the requirements to complete a booster five times over still shows "in progress" waste of time POS app with a joke of a "customer service"
This app is basically just wanting you to open a new bank account, new credit card, and/or new car insurance. It seems to be an app to help track how much money is earn and you have to connect it to your current bank account. The credit cards they want you to get are good cards but if you don't want to get new anything, this is not an app for you. There is also a part to help find a job.
Every time I try to open the app, I just get a blank screen. Do they not take pride in fixing an issue that makes the app function more smoothly? I barely signed up and can't even get on the app because it won't go!
One of my favorite apps! I love getting paid to try apps that are new to me. It's so simple. Just follow the instructions for each booster. They're fast at getting you paid. I did a booster yesterday and received my visa gift card this morning. Link your bank to get your booster deposited or get a Visa gift card. I've never had an issue with Steady. I always receive payment quickly; however there were 2 boosters I completed nearly 60 days ago and I still haven't received payment.
Seems to be full of spam Update: On May 22 2022, I got two spoof emails. One from Best Buy saying password reset failed and to create an account. It wasn't Best Buy's email. I don't actually have an account either with the email I used. So they're smart. They did get into my Instagram. Said someone logged in from Turkey. My IG account didn't show the login from Turkey. The hacker used the logout feature. I think Mode could be the source. I was directed to this app via Steady. Be careful.
Just dropped from 5 to 1. It was great at first, got my first 3 boosters in a timely fashion and the app is set up to make it easy to understand.......in the beginning anyways. I've sent 2 very nice emails explaining my issue, which wasn't even that bad. Now it's just a big mass of confusion. Half the boosters are labeled in progress, even some I've completed through other apps. I'm not getting paid on anything new I start and there is really no actual way to see your progress
This app won't go past the white screen. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps and still nothing. I have a video if support would like to see. I just need and email to send it to.
I liked the app. It will not allow me into my account. It keeps saying that my number is in the system. Well daaa I'm trying to sign in. I have contacted customer service like 3 times! I just uninstalled it, because no one ever reached out to me.
So I'm putting 4 stars because I just installed, looks great. Will return to let everyone know about how much better it got. -- I've been doing this with Chase, for years. Lol. **Disclosure** it's not "Free", it does require something. Like deposit $200 in 2 months and get $50 (or whatever) it's on us to set reminders and make sure we follow up. Maybe a comprehensive overview of possible fees there with the pre-recs would help folks, 🤔 just thinking about how it sucks 2 forget.
No customer service whatsoever. I linked my bank account and through my bank app it shows that I am linked but it's been over a month now and it still does not show up on the Steady app. I sent an email and have not heard back from them. They really need to improve on their customer service skills.
The app itself quite easy to use, can be a little slow and frustrating. Getting a hold of customer service I gave up and few issues with completed tasks I that I never got credit for. There are however some great things about this app that also make it stand out. Offering different types of help and unique programs. Showing you tools that can help, presenting good opportunities. Whether employed unemployed going to college or don't know what you're doing. This app can help a lot or little.
