Stealth Cam REMOTE

The app is horrible! App loaded with no issues, set the cam in the field, received pictures of me setting it up. Set for instant delivery. The second day the camera sent test pictures as it was configured to do. I played with the settings in the app and it said, "Upload Successful!! These changes will not go into effect until this camera's next scheduled upload time". It's set for instant...so, changing the settings is instant? The camera itself is pretty nice. Just very poorly written app.

Crashes all the time, and pics are very low res. I bought this for my deer lease which is 6 hours away, I'm in Texas. I set it up and went home and waited, the first pics come in and I go to click on it and most of the time but not always it crashes when I click on the thumbnails. When it does work the pics are super low res and no option to dl high-res. I also have a Spartan camera and it works so much better than this junk. I'll be adding another Spartan soon and using this as a regular cam

The app crashes over and over again. Very difficult to review upload content due to crashing. UPDATE: To any experiencing this crashing problem... I found a work-around. Use you app to connect to a Google Drive account. This is free and you basically already have it since you've used Google Play. The app will automatically forward/sync pics and video to that account. Then you can use Google Drive to view your content since it is stable and trustworthy. Lol.

I lost the ability to upload photos after deer season. Called customer service, no help there. so I did some trial and error and found that the 10 second video #3 in the preset options section. I am now getting twice a day 10 second videos with sound. Maybe some day the developers will fix the photo options and custom options

App was working great. Now out of nowhere it crashes when I try to view a picture. If this doesn't get resolved I want my money back as the camera is now useless for purpose that I intend it for. Equally frustrating is I have contacted customer support multiple times and they claim the issue is with my phone...ummmm read the reviews everyone is experiencing the same error/bug. Please fix this .

Worked ok (and only just ok, the photos in Google Drive weren't current, despite hourly push) until the update last week, now the camera can't be contacted by my phone, I have no idea if it's working and now need to drive a few hours away to check the camera. A huge pain th in the rear and a waste of my time. For an expensive camera, sold as being remotely accessible, it is useless.

11/04-Recent update fixed all issues. Pictures come in immediately and camera changes settings when triggered to sync. Working flawlessly! 11/22-Scratch that. Worked for two weeks and now nothing. No uploads, not sure if it is even taking pics. Just in time for the season, thanks Stealthcam!

I picked a plan that would give me about 1000 pictures a month for $15 and I thought once you reached that limit you would have been given a warning but no they just continued to rack the minutes on the data and instead of paying $15 you $130.82 WHAT A RACKET! Save your money and go with a reliable app like Spypoint you get unlimited photos for $20 i wanted to rate it 0 stars

for those having problems, I also went from *working* last year to *not working*. After some close observation and button pushing, I found the account login on the camera got changed and then wiped after a firmware upgrade. both times I fixed that in terms cellular settings menu and the camera came back online and is working. Most all the complaints are fixed by this. I'm using the STC-GX45NGW. The app still has issues like telling me to upgrade firmware even though camera is on the latest.

If you bought a Stealth Cam camera and were directed to download this software, send the camera back for a refund and don't download this software. The software is frustratingly poorly written and doesn't work most of the time, and you will end up trying to make it work because you think it should. Stealth Cam cameras may possibly be good but so far my experience with them and their software has been extremely poor. There are many better field cameras available. Really, look elsewhere.

I will except the buyer bebware element of this product. I should have done my homework and i would have found out the app was useless. I bought this camera so I could stay away from it once it was set and now I have to still walk up to it with a card reader to retrieve the images which is exactly what I wanted to stay away from. In my case I paid for an expensive wireless camera and got a very average one that I could have paid much less for the same result!!

Not the least bit impressed that we are expected to pay a subscription to get the photos and videos off of the card. And even when I tried to use the app, we can't get anything off. I get the subscription if you want to access remotely, but when you put your own card on your own device to read the photos and videos that were taken on your camera and have to pay for that too... I didn't get this for myself, but I would not recommend it and will be doing a lot more research to replace it.

App was decent until this update. Now it is pretty much useless and all the expensive wireless cameras are now just very expensive normal trail cameras. FIX THIS APP!!!! Very unfair to anyone that has bought your cameras for the wireless features. And to have this happen right at the beginning of hunting season and for some with opening day around the corner. You guys couldn't of picked a worse time to update your app and mess it up!!!

Used to work great. Now I need to check the app to get pushed photos. I've missed hogs because they're gone by the time I get my notifications. Wish there was a live mode. Lag at times on my S9+ with no other apps running. 12v battery is bad out of the box. 10v and won't charge, solar or Schumaker charger.

Horrible app! Crashes 90% of the time when you get picture notifications and try to open the app. Camera is ok but not what you expect for the price. I'd recommend spending a extra $100 and get the competition's camera.

Everytime the camera takes more than 2 pictures the app shuts down when you try and view them... Have full cell signal so I know that is not the issue... Secondly I just had 2 deer within 15ft of the camera for over 10 minutes and it only took 3 pictures which of course I can't even look at because the app keeps closing... The only way to fix problem is to uninstall the app and reinstall but then you no longer have pictures to look at... So far I'd say this app and these cameras are wasted money

The older version of the App works well. I doesn't have some of the features of the new app, but it works consistently. If you can get an APK of the previous version of the app, try that Nd should get your Pics and Videos reliably.

I'm still having trouble getting my pictures. Logged out of app, turned my phone off, rebooted phone, logged back in. Still nothing. Pay so much for a game cam and its worthless. Update, 11-19-18, app will open up then force close when trying to look at pictures. Haven't hardly had pics sent. This is pitiful. Will not buy another one.

Software is junk. Bought this camera to access photos remotely, but app crashes when you try to view photos. Worthless. App indicates minor bug fixes, how about fixing major bugs? One star because no way to select zero stars.

Save you money and buy a Skypoint. The Stealth Cam looks and works great. Quality pictures too, but the app is a joke. It crashes as soon as I try to open the pictures that were just sent.

App is complete garbage. Almost impossible to view your photos. As soon as I try to look at what was delivered app instantly crashes. Will be replacing this cam with another brand as soon as I get back to my hunting grounds

The camera itself is great but the app makes this whole experience bad for a cellular camera. The phots always arrive on time but the viewing experience is difficult with constant black screens and crashes while trying to view a photo

had all sorts of trouble getting the app to sync with camera. Called but never got through to anyone. Waste of money and time. I should have read all reviews before buying this camera, definitely would have changed my mind.

When i try to open the pics the app crashes every time. I have call and spent hours on the phone all to have a dropped call at 5 o clock when that closed. Just purchased this iv had it for two day and am ready to send it back.

Semi ok customer service but TERRIBLE APP ! After multiple long customer service tech support calls, this unit ceases to work. 🤬It worked great for the first 3 hours. Oi! It's probably an app problem I'm told. I gave it the old College try of a 30-day trial and now I am returning it to the store. Next, I'm trying a Ridgetec. 🙏

The latest update has completely bricked the use of these cameras. I have 3 cameras that I'm paying a monthly service fee for each. After this last update I'll get notifications that I have new pictures to view but the pictures won't upload. This renders my high dollar cameras to nothing but regular trail cameras. I think we should be reimbursed for our monthly cell fees or be compensated some other way. Ridiculous timing as the rut is starting soon. Why release an update if it doesn't work. 🤬

The update crashes and does work. When is the fix of the fix going to be released. Its freaking hunting season and my hunting property is 100 plus miles away and cant see what's going during the week so I know what stand to hunt come the weekend
