This app doesn't even work properly. I got this all setup and played music for 2 days for my passengers. After receiving no credit for those two days, I contact support and they tell me to just delete the app and download again. No resolution beyond that. I was excited for this, but after my first experience and seeing other reviews. Not much hope for the future for this.

Hasn't worked since I started using Bluetooth. Samsung separate app setting shows I play via phone speaker so the minutes don't count. Instead of customer support looking into the issue, they just basically said use another method. The music is pretty horrible and you get sick of the same 10 songs very fast, when the app actually works. Payment takes about a month to show up in your bank account.

I'm at the point of liking this app and service now. It worked in the beginning and then there was some trouble with the app and service, but the customer service response was generally quick. Now they've seemed to put in some work and corrected a lot of the issues. For several weeks now it's worked when I've needed it to work. There are still some slight start up issues when I first launch the app. At times it'll re-ask me for my 1099 information, but going back out of the app and re-starting generally takes care of that. Plus I am now at $2 away from cash out so when that happens and when the start up issue is corrected I'll likely move this rating up to a 5 star rating. It's now an app that I can recommend to other rideshare drivers. UPDATE: I've finally received my first payment from Steereo. After reaching the $100 required threshold (still not sure why it's that high) I requested payment. It took 10 calendar days and 7 business days to receive it for some reason, but I can verify that I do have the payment in my bank account. Not sure if the extended time was due to it being the first or not, but just wanted to update this review for other's benefit.

Trying to sign up. After putting my info and agreeing to the agreement I get to the screen where it says take a screenshot of your profile from a ridesharing app, but there is no link to follow. Deadend no reply from support. just tried again and the problem is still there. Just tried again and reinstalled the app. The app freezes during the signup process. Don't waist your time.

I've been using the Steereo App for almost a year now, in the past we have had ups and downs with getting paid promptly, however I recently submitted a payment on Dec. 7th,, still have not been paid. I've been in email contact with them for quite some time and after several back and forth emails, still no ETA on when I will get paid, if ever, at this point...

The whole reason i got this this app was the get paid to listen to music and discover new music. The music is good but i can find new music on tons of music apps. As far the pay part i has this playing a solid eight hours while driving and have next to no points so using this to make extra money is not even close to being worth it!

App is complete trash, made by amateurs. Design is awful, a 5 year old could design a better layout. They don't even detect android auto or Bluetooth connections and so their app thinks it is playing on headphones. Not a single rider in one month liked any of the ghetto songs they have and my ratings dropped every time I had it on. Payout is super low for each song played and it takes them forever to pay, you basically have to post a negative review to get any type of communication.

Pretty terrible song selection. It's about 10 of the same songs over and over again. Granted, their are multiple "stations" but really, some of the songs are just terrible. However, it's easy free money, so screw it.

Don't like how song stops while navigation voice is on. Also it is not reliable. Good songs but app has some refreshing to do to it's platform. ++++Update--++ Sterreo doesn't pay out. As of today 1-6-20 I'm owed $200. They keep giving me the run around. --- Uninstall APP--- because you don't get paid. They will scam you. 😠

I have used this app for one day and I'm not really sure IF you get paid and WHEN do you get paid after using this app but I will stay that the music is amazing. Me and my passengers loved the music. A couple of my passengers said they don't even want to have a conversation with me because they loved listening to the music and I am happy because I don't have to talk to my passengers now to keep them entertained :).

App has a few issues... Sign up was easy but creating the profile I was annoyed at having to reenter information a few times. Entering payment information is difficult. I completed section a couple of times but on main screen it still states add payment. 🙆

it's been more than week I have complaint ( well i tried to do cashout through my laptop and it worked but I cant able to play songs because it's getting automatic message music play background stopped. please fix it as I already tried many times uninstall and install and update also still not working.

This app is a total scam and positive reviews are completely fake. I have been waiting since December 10 for a payment. Support has continually sent me messages along the lines of "we're sorry, we're working on it, we're unhappy you aren't getting paid yet as well, hang in there!" Uh, HUH? These people have zero intention of ever paying out a dime. The music is trash and repeats the same 3-4 songs on a loop without any ability to skip, pause, repeat. EDIT: You are welcome to reach out to me!

I wanna give them five stars, just as a credit and for past experience. Because, I have got paid from the app several times, but for now, I'm waiting for my payment since december. I'll wait 2 more weeks, and then I'll change it to 1 star, because it took about 2 month to make 300$ on this app and to listen the same music for 2 month...

Easy to install. Since i have wifi on my car it will be installed on my tablet so it wont interrupt my navigation. Also drivers having issues with voice navigation get your self an old phonecand share your phone hot spot to it.

9th day Update- Check Out "The Driver Sensei" for upcoming feedback. After a few days and the staff's hard work, I am now able to run Steereo. I test it out and the music is legit. Didn't want to violated TOS so I'll save the full exam with my passenger. I thought their customer service was going to brush me off but it was the complete opposite. They worked my issue and changed my email with no problem. They even followed up to ensure I'd received the confirmation. Game on and I hope to enjoy.

ok so after my previous 1 star review my account is now suddenly working. Not sure if it was a bug or they listened and reactivated my account. One thing to note though is I got a lot of low ratings and complaints about the music i played. It is new unrecognizable music. Not good music to ne honest. If you are not worried about your uber/lyft star rating then give this a try. Sorry just being honest.

Don't bother. App crashes during songs. minimal playlists and the latest is 2 to 3 weeks to get paid. Surprised they even have a 2.9 star. Done and already uninstalled the App.

Riders have enjoyed the tunes on here and several have asked me what song is this and I told them. Some wanted to learn more as I give free WiFi. I don't see a past song playlist or a repeat song option. I guess I work too much in Chicago for Steereo to keep up. The app cut me off Valentines night, said I can't play anymore until March 1st. I drive rideshare about 1700 miles a week. I calculated the pay and it would be about $100 every 8 weeks if they dont suspend your Rider listen time. Oh wel

Everything went through, got accepted, but now I cant log in to use the app to work. kinda disappointed about that because I drive ALOT. please fix and tell me what's going on. I have no idea how to get ahold of you guys. Edit: could be a solid app. It is Legit! just need more reliability.

I was super excited for this app II play music for them for over three and a half months I was really excited to get my first pay out I requested on December first and then I was told on December 20th that their payment company that use stripe has deactivated their payment account for them defaulting so it looks like they will not be doing any payouts. It is now January 17th and I've yet to receive a payment and it seems when everytime I email them they state that their payment account is suspen

it just continues to keep crashing ever since the update. it just doesnt make sense, its as if it was intentionally sabotaged. "music playback error"

Steereo is trash! The music choices are trash! The support is trash and thin skinned when it comes to criticism of their new product and criticism coming from someone using it for 8 hours at a time, hearing the same repetitive pop-trash songs 3 to 5 each. I was kicked off the platform after just one day of using it, for criticism of their trash platform. Steereo is going to go down, recent complaints in the Steereo Driver groups have revolved around non-payment to drivers. A good idea with bad execution and clearly bad people in charge.

Been online for 5 days. Not one single penny shows up on my account. Plus, it's the same 10 songs over and over again. Uninstalling app. Waste of time. At this point I would rather keep paying for pandora. Atleast its music people knows. DO NOT EXPECT TO MAKE MONEY OFF THIS APP.

Music is great. Only reason it's not 5 stars is it doesn't seem to count songs I have on when I'm stopped in traffic. I think it can tell when in moving slow.

The music it's good, the platform is good , my riders like it a lot, they were couple of people asked me about that app.. so overall good but for us the drivers in my personal experience I never got paid , it's been over 1 month , 1 messages and nothing , I think I dont have good luck :( lol , anyways like unsaid music good but the earnings in my personal experience its not true ,

Refusal or in their words, delay of payment. 12/10 claimed earning, still have no ETA on actual payment. Last words from steereo, email would be sent out. That was over a week ago. Now 4/3 still no payment, account on hold, and an update that doesnt is exist. Refusal to pay......

I work five days a week rideshare. I downloaded this app to earn money will driving , got to the part where it accepted everything and got to the screenshot nd it kept loading ! I'm really irritated because it accepted my account the first time I signed up and then wouldnt let me log in ! pls fix this !

Okay so. Second review. Just wanted to let everybody know this. I had the app running for 4 hours and 29 minutes yesterday. Exactly the same time I was online for Lyft. I wasn't skipping songs. I just let it play. I banked 87 points! I need 2500 to cash out. 2500 points = $25. So 87 points = 87 cents. Oh. So 269 minutes (4 hours and 29 minutes) divided by 87 points. I made a grand total of 1 cent every 3.1 minutes. Worth it? I think not.

Their claims that you make 120 a month are false seeing as how I'd have to work over 12 hours a day every day just to get 100 in a month. App keeps logging me out and saying it can't connect to the network even though my phone works just fine on every other internet using app I have.
