WIDE VARIETY OF MISSIONSThere are over 80 different kinds of mission. These start with basic assassination where you must kill an important VIP that is being protected, and sabotage where you must destroy installations. Once you become advanced, you can take on the more advanced missions such as egg collector, where you must collect more alien eggs than your opponents, but watch out for the aliens that are protecting them. There are missions for 2, 3 or 4 players. Some missions involve Escorting a VIP across a sniper infested town, or being the first to collect the flag which in some missions may be located in the centre of an alien prison. Or maybe you want to control a gang of criminals intent on making an escape from the maximum security prison?

DIFFERENT KINDS OF UNITSNot only can you play a squad of humans, there are also mission where you can play vicious aliens that can tear a human apart and explode with acid blood, or blobs which can split into smaller blobs or join together to make a giant super-blob. There are also missions with zombies, which don't stay dead for long, or clones, which just keep on coming. Can you survive to the end?
WIDE VARIETY OF EQUIPMENTAs well as the guns, there is also a wide variety of other equipment that you can equip your units with. These include grenades from small to big, smoke grenades to prevent you being seen, nerve gas to smoke out the enemy, medi-kits and close-combat weapons, and also protective armour.

ADVANCED FEATURESThis game has lots of advanced features for the experienced player to make the game even more exciting. Units can give away their locations if they make a noise. Smoke or nerve gas can spread and effect a unit's line-of-sight. Fully destructive scenery and walls. If the enemy is expecting you to go through the main entrance, why not blow a hole in the wall?
LEAGUE TABLE & TROPHIESStellar Forces has a league table showing the best players. Can you get to the top? After a game has finished, you can watch a complete playback to see exactly how close you were to winning or losing. You can also win trophies for winning sets of missions or winning a certain number of games (and also for losing too many!).

I never played laser squad but I did used to play a game called Breach 2 on the Amiga. This is just like that. Love it and will be buying premium. Well done guys.
Reminds me of the old school games like Jagged Alliance or Xcom but multiplayer. Very addicting. No pay 2 win features which is awesome
The developer has essentially given away a portion of the game for free, no ads and no in-app purchases. If you like it (and I am, currently), you can buy the full version which has more levels and modes. Seems pretty fair to me :)

Why you need a connection if you want to play against the AI?
Was looking for a serious strategic mobile turn based game... Didn't think they existed until I found this... Easy to pick up and play on the go and super deep.. Love this game definetly getting the premium
Laser Squad plus improvements for your mobile, love it.
Need I say more? Ok I will. Good community of players which is a far cry from a lot of modern online gaming communities. Keep up the good work.
Even if you can't find friends to play you can play AI or public games
Who makes a phone game that vibrates with every click? No settings or volume to be seen, either.
I really like the game, but have had problems with the practice game not registering turns and getting notifications that it is my turn but no game available. Very small complaints for an excellent idea and fun gameplay.

Great game. Anyone who liked laser squad or the turn-based squad action of XCom will enjoy this game. The retro feel has a modern twist because now you can fight real human opponents. loving the free version.
for 5 stars add replay of previous turn and ability to turn off auto shot so not to give position away (may already be Able to do that but not found out how lol) awesome game will be buying full version today..
Plays well and is quite intuitive but lacks the cool graphics & sound fx of the original laser squad. I'm still hooked in though.
Android strategy games I've played.
Probably will buy the full version. Laser squad was my fav c64 game when i was a kid. Porting it to Android was an awesome idea. Great game. Note: you should be able to abandon missions and delete messages. 5 stars. SGS3
great game, very much like the good old laser squad... but it lacks ai to play with... 3 stars for memories.
Great clone of the old school turn based strategy games . Really well made for mobiles etc
Awesome game in the style of Laser Squad and X-Com! The game plays out fine, and it's got free turn-based multiplayer, too. I'd like to see more people playing, the game fits perfectly among other quick-fix turn-based games like Words or drawsomething. Love the straight-up mission ripoffs, too - really takes me back to still be trying to assassinate Regnix some twenty years later.
Great game if you liked Laser Squad. Control is well done too. Would be nice if there was an AI to play offline quickly.
Needs a solo (vs. Computer/non-practice) option, otherwise good game.
I can't believe this asynchronous multiplayer game has been around so long and I only just found it. Great concept! Very well executed. Highly recommend giving this a try.
